No Dealers. No Hassle. Serious Savings. Let the pros at CarEdge do it for you! ⮕ caredge.com/concierge
I'm not sure that your average viewer cares a bit about the prices falling at dealer auctions. Wake us up when the actual dealers are passing that savings on to their customers. By and large, they are NOT doing that just yet. For every 1 dealer that is there, there seem to be 10 that are still trying to hold the 2022 line of absurd prices for used cars.
I'm getting annoyed with these videos.
@@christinamartinez8132 Stop watching for a while.
Have you been to 10 different dealerships and tried to negotiate prices? Or have you just gone to 10 different dealer websites and looked at prices?
@jordanschellhase2952 .....I don't walk into dealerships, and my search radius is the nation. I've had 20 conversations with 20 different dealers on nearly identical cars....same year, similar mileage, same model, interior, etc. 2 of the 20 have been willing to negotiate so far.
I'm shopping for cars right now and like this info. It's helping me figure out when to sell my current car and pick up a new one.
Day 1,000 of the "car market is crashing"..... So tired of these headlines.
Just checked Caravana. They've dropped prices on cars I've been following by 500 bucks. So Now they're ONLY 3K over priced instead of $3500. WE still need Carvana or Carmax or someone else that's huge to start dumping cars. If they do that for a month straight prices will get low.
Average family making 70k a year cannot afford the average 40k car
As a consumer, I really don't give a DAMN about wholesale prices. The ONLY price I care about is the FINAL price that I NEED to pay. AND Those are NOT crashing. Maybe they WILL crash in the future but it hasn't happened yet.
Due to the industry having so many unethical creeps, wholesale prices don’t count. Retail prices are what consumers take into consideration.
Been watching used truck prices in PA for a while now. No price decrease, but sometimes a price increase for no reason. Glad my 29 yr old F-150 runs so good.
I bet the "trade-in" value of your nice running F-150 HAS taken a REAL hit!
@@TheOzthewiz I'm sure it has, but I would never waste time trying to trade it in. I would only sell it out right
These headlines do more than act like clickbait - It sends people rushing to dealers to take advantage of these "TANKING" prices. They end up buying anyway, as they were inclined to do. The cycle continues...
Yeah, they know clickbait draws viewers. Just as sleazy as most other people TH-cam
Clitoris bait
They have to lower the prices at least 60% and people will be able to afford a car and that goes for homes too.
Sounds like socialism
60% off?...will never happen..not even half that will happen
60% off?...will never happen..not even half that will happen
Not going to happen.
Go in and see what you could get, tbh in a few weeks, I'm gonna start emailing after I do their car, buying toolkit 3.0 on car edge.
Tanking by what the dealers will give you for your trade maybe but certainly not tanking on what they are asking for THEIR used cars and they are STILL unwilling to negotiate. I've had several dealers tell me flat out the price is the price, no negotiation. I left and never heard back from them either.
This is true. My friend wife traded in her infinite GX60? It was a 2017 with 35000 miles. They gave her 12000 and had it listed at 20000 for sale. It sold within 1 day of her taking delivery of her new car.
@@justanaveragejoe9416foolish trading that one in for a new one. Really DUMB. CB
SHE LOST $8G to a STEALER$hip. CB
Brandon by not adding junk fees to your cars you should do very well in my opinion.
EV sales in Germany have tanked by 30% year over year while ICE sales both gas and diesel are up
the trade in value of my 2015 Honda has dropped around $2000 in the 5 months I have had it, ( including on your site ) the selling price is the same. Prices have not "tanked" profit on trades have gone up.
What a dealer buys it at auction does not directly correlate to sales price anymore.
Wow 😮😮😮
CLICKBAIT. Prices aren't tanking but what you need to see is hard numbers. START putting out ACTUAL numbers and percentages of price drops so that the viewer can DECIDE for themselves whether prices are crashing or not.
Thank you
It does seem these guys are trying to keep their u tube going. No disrespect
Too redundant, nothing new. Over and over. Get some new content already!!!!
They just recycle the same shit over and over
Maybe tanking in the northeast. But in Florida they are still at 2022 levels.
I think Brandon selling more Vehicles because of his presence on TH-cam,, he's becoming something of a star. Lol
Same crap different day, nothing around MA is falling, crashing, declining, closing, stopping, on fire etc etc.
Same in the DMV
Hertz is not just bleeding because of the EV plunge...they are a poorly run company.
Good Luck Brandon and Caredge on this experiment !
The pandemic is over. No one really cares about auctions. Let’s hear about these sleazy car dealers going out of business. You guys should do a list of dealers closing down. I hope it’s sonic and Hendrick because if not, they’re gonna take over the whole industry and prices will rise. Hendrick has had cars at Costco with $4000 addendum stickers on them in front of the stores. Can’t believe Costco allows this BS. The most expensive place in America you can buy a car is a Hendrick or Sonic car dealership. These dealerships have people drinking the Kool-Aid.
Prices are still up in Texas and the banks aren't really doing good loans
The collaboration idea, should be a game changer! The transparency will be the best part about it!! Good stuff!!
My wife and I were shopping for a new car late '22/early '23... Doing research, we discovered that even the hybrids didn't make sense for us personally. The extra $ just didn't make sense in the long run.
I did use what I learned in the videos to save an extra $1500 on a new Forester Touring in January of 2023.
Used cars are still expensive in California and Arizona
Same in North-Central Wisconsin. These CarEdge "douche nozzles " have been preaching this same CRAP for years. YOUR trade value IS crashing, the used car RETAIL prices are UPWARD bound! FACTS!!!
Zach: Am I over the top?
Ray: YES!!!!!
Love Ray.
I am not seeing used car prices dropping at all, at least not yet here in Tampa, Florida.
I really appreciate these video, I have learned a lot. I particularly like the car buying option, I avoid dealerships like the measles, and intend to use your service w/n the next year.
I appreciate Having Brandon on your webcast. You complement your show.
I used your bargaining tools and templates with excellent results. I bought a 2024 Toyota Highlander Platinum for $1,000 less than your fair price suggestion! My first new car in 17 years and I’ve already sold my “old” FX-3r.
Great show, guys! Educational and entertaining.
Dealers aren't budging on prices. They are still trying to sell you market adjusted prices, thus causing the need for gap insurance. Total scam.
I love when you 3 men do this show together! You all give us so much great information! Keep these shows coming! 😊
Love the collaboration! Two of my favorite channels!
For the record before covid you could get a 10 year old prius with 100k miles for 3-4k
I'm so glad to see my two favorite You Tube channels team up and offer a new, transparent system to buy used cars. Bravo!
Been there done that!!!!!! Customers will never believe what you tell them? Just starting trouble
The best thing about this show is that there are three of you but you're not yelling over each other.
Sounds like a great collaboration. Been watching both R/Z and Brandon and was wondering if/when Brandon would open up sales to viewers who’d want to buy from him and hold on to a car without going underwater. Great idea!
My 3 favorite guys keeping me in the loop hell Yeah 🙏🏿💪🏿
It doesn't matter who is selling the car I would not pay more than the Black Book value for the car. Of course I don't buy used any more. I buy new and keep the car at least 15 years.
Why would you go from buying used to buying new vehicles? Just curious. There's so much more depreciation.
That used car idea is 🔥, I’d def use it as my SOLE used car purchasing platform FOR SURE!
Reputable Make cars under $15k still flying off the shelves.....
Yes....because @ 11% for PRIME borrowers, that's all that's currently affordable for the average American.
@@ferrynpalmer3875 these people (myself maybe included) had to resourced to just start driving on Saturday all day to do errands and the moment app alerts a new car (>15k, >130k miles, 1-2owners with major services recorded, Toyota/Lexus/Acura/Honda/Buick/GMC) we just drive right there to view it, and able to being home this clean Lexus RX350 2008 130k miles for $12k at 8.5%. Things getting so bad if u wait a day its gone.
The great thing about cars is dealerships storing overpriced cars costs dealers floor fees AND unpaid overhead AND less customers to service AND the car depreciates due to lack of use and maintenance. Its a clusterf*ck for them thats almost entirely self inflicted
Talking about EVs: I bought Tesla model 3 last year only because the price with discount and all the tax credits and rebates was lower than any other gas competitor. It turned out around 29k+ tax for brand new tesla model 3. Plus huge convenience with charging at home or at work. With this price point, I don't care about depreciation.
All I know is looking to lease a new Tesla Model X was a little too much so I thought with you boys talking about the used EV “crash”, a low mileage pristine model X should be pocket change. NOT TRUE.
We bought a 23 VW ID.4 Pro S AWD with 961 miles for $29,395 on March 30. Yes there are many deals on used EVs. Remember to do your homework and search outside your area.
@@chrismaxny4066 I hear ya but only want a Tesla..preferably a model X with less than 50K miles and thought with the “Tanking” comments, it would be around your $25-30,000 price range…no way.
Brandon, king of the high mileage used cars.
I love the collaboration episodes!
Tell the dealers to pass on the lower cost to the CONSUMER! **** DATA😊.
Good show..hi from edmonton canada
Thank You‼️🏁
Ray and Zack, thanks for bringing us the show. It’s almost as good as vaudeville.
Gentlemen: My biggest concern in buying a used vehicle is “ Has the vehicle ever been wrecked”? I want protection on that. What’s that worth to me? I’ll throw 5% to 10% at this problem. How much does it cost you to provide an inspection and how do you police the inspector? Other than buying a Certified Used Car from a reputable Seller, I have never seen an independent seller offer a warranty on, it’s never been wrecked. Nor have I bought a used car in many years. At today’s prices and a lot less driving, Im considering used.
I'm looking forward to this collaboration between both of your companies and look to purchase a vehicle in the near future
Love the CQA content.
People are complaining about "auction prices don't matter, but selling prices do" are missing the point. The dealers will ask for a certain amount, and suckers will not try to negotiate. If the cars cost the dealers less, they have more room to negotiate. If you see a lot of cars on the lot not selling, then you have negotiating power... but you need to be willing to walk away if you don't like the deal.
Yeah in theory that’s true but the problem is dealers are still pricing their cars too high.
Please do a live event in Charlotte! That would be awesome
I hope you guys talk about the problem of “lot rot”
Been hearing this for months, but not really seeing it. Prices have remained too high for most people.
June 2019 I bought a brand new Nissan Murano for 23,500. I was shopping for a used Murano but got such a good deal on new. Local dealer has it for $39k now. No thanks.
At some dealerships around me in pa, we got a few dealers that got 4k and a few up to 6k at dealers. Not a used car dealership
Since when Brandon is the “used car expert”. 😂
Ray and Zack are showing data that shows prices should be decreasing. But dealer greed says something else
There is such a disparity between what the cost to consumers for vehicles is compared to what the cost for dealerships is outrageous. Dealerships know the real price for cars is going down so they won’t purchase vehicles unless they can get a steal from customers while on the flip side they are not willing to take a loss on anything so there inventory value doesn’t crash.
Will there be financing available for the consumers who want to buy these late year model used vehicles ?
Saying pricing is tanking is going to make your Concierge customers mad when they dont a big discount on what they want to buy.
You can apply for financing for a Brandon car on Caredge as well correct?
Price a 10 year old prius with 200,000 miles and tell me it's tanking. I'd love to buy a cheap affordable used prius.
I will check back in the fall season
Ray driving in NJ or PA a tank would be good sometimes except for the gas mileage. 😂
Indeed!!! All the best, Ray
Dodge “Duranguses” got me, haha
Brandon looks like one of the fellows that I used to hang out with at the clubs in greensboro north carolina
With inflation, I really doubt we can ever see car prices down to before COVID.
Brandon you should call your new venture Transparency Auto Service .😊
nice watch Ray, what is it?
pickup registration increases every year most dangerous vehicle on the road too
Too large, high, heavy, horrible
fuel mileage, loud exhausts, big
knobby tires chattering on the
streets, and the drivers tailgate
& become automotive “bullies”
Tax the $#!T outa these muthas. CB
My 2011 Toyota 4runner is worth more today or at least as much as what I paid for it 3 years ago. JUst not seeing a drop off on Craigslist.
Check out the Model Y Brandon. Its a solid car
What I have gathered watching Branden, is that he's not out to screw over buyers and IF he buys a bargain, he still sells it as a bargain to others! Used car prices are tanking as you say, BUT NOT once the majority of the used care and new car dealers buy them up at auction! The used car prices are ONLY low when you and I own them, but ONCE that "half worthless piece of junk" we own, trades hands - becomes "dealer stock", it magically becomes GOLD and WORTH the massive increase in price - from what we get to what the next poor guy will have to pay for it!
I went to buy a car. got through neg on a used car for kiddo. at payment I handed him a usaa card. hes like thats 3% less for me. I said do you still want to sell it or no cause thats what I got? he did and I got cash back on car purchase :)
I'm curious if this car selling service is going to include a used car pre-inspection, or is that something that has to be paid for separately.
Brandon is many standard deviations from average when it comes to car prices. He’s benefiting from a slowing economy and people shifting to cars they need and not what they want.
He is also moving away from the "beater" business into selling REAL cars!
prices aren’t taking they’re just falling towards the direction. They should’ve been the whole time not gonna cry one day for any dealer or any auto maker. They need to feel more pain than the average buyer or wannabe buyer.
What you need is a math teacher to graph and analyze the break even point for the gas / mileage savings vs the additional price paid when buying ev vs ice …
Possibly a second graph showing what % of buyers actually reach this point in time ;)
As always, prices will vary depending on where in the country you're buying in.
Seeing $15 8:03 k off (advertised) on new 2025 Ram ($63k to $48k). Lexington, KY.
you're not saving anything with EV's , they are heavier which means they wear out tires and rotors and brakes faster, repairs are astronomical, battery replacement is any where from $16,000 to $60,000 there is no savings with EV's.
Uh…I’ll let you in on a secret. Lease EV’s…we do. Drive them 3 years, then give them back…no brainer. Our BMW i3 lease is up in a couple months and it’s been perfect. Haven’t spent a dime on the thing. Matter of fact BMW kept calling at the 1.5 year mark of the lease for me to bring it in for “inspection” or whatever they called it. Why? They finally just said it out loud. The service department has to charge BMW for SOMETHING to make the lease of any value to them.
EV
Everything
Vile. CB
Why are spouting BS you hardly use brakes ! Regen braking ! Ignorance is bliss !
The manufacturers and dealers got THEMSELVES in this predicament. Until they lower prices 50%, 60% now those are numbers ZACH can his stupid comparisons to!
Your title s are opposite every other day ?
I want a jeep gladiator, yes I know it's a JEEP product 😁. I have almost 2k on my Sahara. I can't find one I can afford. I'm hoping to get what I'm looking for in Dec.
Wake me up when car prices are cut by 70%
It's a shame that fisker is bankrupt. They had some of the best looking EV with decent range too. If they would've started with the competitive prices they have now(25k base model, 38k top trim) they would've taken over the market even with the software issues.
Brandon,
#1 it's no ones business how much you make on a sale. If it's a good price it'll sell.
#2 As Ray alluded to, you are setting yourself up for a lose/lose situation. You have to be able to make a little more than usual on some cars to make up for losses on others.
#3 Be careful. I'm not saying that Ray an Zach aren't ok, but it's a family business and you aren't family.
Will the used cars be shipped and registered? Or is only in-state there, wherever he is...
I dont see prices ate tanking. Where exactly do you see prices plunging?
I am not seeing these lower prices in NJ
I'm an enthusiast for a certain make and model. I'm seeing more cars available on FB Marketplace and at better prices. It's never a good time to do business with a dealer.
It's commonly claimed that ev's lose value over time. Isn't that more in line with non ev's? Are we lead to exspect that ev's are not to decline in price?
I have a legitimate question. And I've yet to hear the answer anywhere and I've done a whole bunch of searching online with no response either in written articles or videos. So here's the question if it costs Ford roughly about 20 grand to build the Ford F-150 or about 15 grand to build the Maverick. If my calculations are anywhere near correct. Then why won't Ford go in and do a realistic price reduction on the vehicles. Wouldn't that get them out of the dilemma they're in right now sure it would cost them money ie profit that isn't their profit being ate away the way they're doing things now. Thank you for answering the question
no one has ever proven that there’s a savings in EV overall cost, especially when you look at the entire ownership of the car. The premium on them is so high and the depreciation is so hard and fast that you literally have to hold on the one for about 15 to 18 years before it even breaks even and that’s assuming that more states don’t add taxes like California to offset the fact that they’re not getting the same amount of money on an ongoing basis as they were from an ice car.
The radical left hates fossil fuels, farming, meat production, etc. That is what is driving all the insanity.
Ray! I'm starting to think these chart folks are clueless...I saw that right away. The problem is for me is it makes me look at this data the same way I look at inflation charts...none of the data is truly representative of what is really happening?
Guys!!! Great concept!!! Can you steal me a truck...seriously! I have all the faith in the world you can bless me. My credit is great and could pay cash...come on guys help a fan out!
