As the enemy engi I thank you for stretching those HABs so far from the radio. God bless.

You gotta do Gorodok or Yeho next man, super popular maps. Great vids, I've been wanting vids about map specific hab placements for the longest time!

Wow what is this hab placement, why not push with the vics? Why you take so long to place that first radio?

This will come off rude, but you have a fundamental misunderstanding about FOB/HAB placements. You seem to have an obsession with placing them - FOBs and HABs - too far apart. There are scenarios where stretching out FOBs and HABs is necessary in order to ensure you have enough space to place a FOB to attack/defend another cap point. However, that comes at a cost of your FOB becoming undefendable the moment enemy Engi or an anti-FOB squad finds it. And it's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when". This obsession is made worse by the idea that placing FOB/HAB directly on the cap is generally a bad thing. It is not.
The combination of FOB far away from HAB + don't place HAB/FOB on Cap is giving the enemy the opportunity to just focus on your FOB/HAB first. Since the the FOB and the HAB are so far away from the cap, and one another, it's unlikely that they will be defended. Hence, a micro 4 man Squad, or even a semi-decent engi, can just grab 20 tickets from you without ever needing to set foot on the cap.

Not rude at all. Thank you for your comments. Some very valid points there. I suppose it all comes down to play styles. Mine is an aggressive, momentum driven spawn shifting. I will aim for multiple HABs on a active defensive cap as well as attack HABs simultaenously.
The play style accepts losing FOBs to the intelligent engineers you mentioned, and hopes ro trade those FOBs for an enemy FOB + 60 pts for the flag.
When it works. It works. When it gets bogged down or we lose the initiative it doesnt :)

@@Pony-Squad if you're going to play aggressive then you need 2 things:
      1. Roughly know the roll out times from each main to mid cap
1.1. Know the fastest route to mid cap from the main
1.2. Ideally, roughly know the roll out times depending on the faction's logis - some are slower, some are faster
      2. Commit to the mid cap rush and not fuck about with placing FOB away form the HAB
You seem to be aware of #1, but you ignore #2. In your Mutaha video, the West Police Station FOB placement, you should just be sending your logi straight to the grove tree and dropping FOB+HAB there. Otherwise, you are losing 30~ seconds before HAB is placed down + stamina + positioning + momentum.
For standard attacks - enemy has the cap and you are assaulting - you don't need FOB spam. Learn to play purely off ralies + light vics. It allows you to try and setup a much riskier/unorthodox attack angle without comitting 20 tickets to it.
For defense, the rule of thumb is - HAB/FOB on Cap. Rally 200-300m off cap. Rally is ideally placed on a safe flank. It will also act as a early warning system - if it pops, you know enemy is flanking from that side. Rally should be up 24/7, the moment it goes down you run in the opposite direction and place a new rally. If you feel like cap is about to be lost or HAB cannot be unproxied, just dig down the FOB.

      Thanks for the feedback@@Uf0nius
In terms of the Mutaha video did you mean the WTH video or, 30 minute clinic? I wouldnt read too much into the travel route or times on the where to Hab videos as they are just me on a training map driving around between flags trying to give inspirarion for HAB placement.
If playing an actual match then 2) is key. Id be sending two squads to mid caps asap for bodies and HABs on and around cap.
All my content is for PUB play, snd involves trying to "conduct the blueberry orchestra". Check out some of the other vids and let me know if I Im still off base or just misrepresebting in this series of where to hab videos as they arent edits of games.
