I had one of these it’s not digital though some kind of press reaction uses about as much battery as the calculator

Is that a... single, exposed, fragile flex cable connecting the two halves? I don't know how, but I'm sure I'm gonna break that if I get to own that calculator 😅
I guess the nice part is it doesnt transmit data, its just a simple power connection to wipe the screen. You can just get a AA battery with some small leads, and sort of wiggle them in there if it ever breaks.
And fall and oops, no more writing, no more writing screen.
I really like the concept of it. It's great to quickly write down notes or sub-totals. However, how does it compare to the Casio when it comes to durability/longevity?

Wrong information. Calculators are allowed in most university exams. Besides, a few boards like ISC do allow Scientific Calculators.
It's just that Scientific Calculators aren't allowed in high school (K 12 level or whatever it's called internationally). But it is certainly allowed in Universities.

@@burtoncraftthe screen isn't a digital screen it doesn't need battery to stay on, only to clear the display, you can buy them and the battery usually lasts a few months yo a year. It's basically an electrically erased whiteboard

Compared to 32$ of your calculator,
I think it is pretty stupid to spend over double the amount of money just for the functionality of paper and pen.
Additionally, by looking at the casino and your calculator it seems that they have EXACTLY the same button layout,
which is really... interesting.
So phone + pen + paper might be a better option after all.
Or just bring a tablet or phone, like they already have a calculator built-in.
There are already apps there out there, which let you handwrite your math problems and they automatically turn them into text and give you an answer. (with is a lot faster than having a separate calculator and paper btw)
So why would you buy something that you already have with you?

I don’t know how much it costs, but most likely it will cost a lot, and at that price you get a badass traditional scientific calculator + a tablet with a pen. And if not, it’s always the better choice, that thing looks not handy at all and the screen is just too small for taking… notes? Does it have the capability of memorising stuff?
