For machines that I filled at schools and colleges, it was common to offer multiple flavors of Pop-Tarts because they sold so well. Vending Machine Pop-Tarts were designed to be eaten WITHOUT being heated. And they were made with a different formula/recipe that did make them taste good right out of the package. They were great. Since then, I have never purchased Pop-Tarts in stores because they are NOT as good as the vending ones used to be.

My favorite flavors are strawberry plain, wildberry and raspberry frosted or raspberry plain. We live in New York and we did go to the Pop Tarts store twice and were sad when it closed.

But now they come in those flimsy silver packets that you can't fold up; they won't stay closed. So if I only want one Tart, I end up having to put the other one in a zipper bag to keep it fresh.

We were just thinking of getting Pop Tarts yesterday. My parent’s fave is blueberry. I like the strawberry and brown sugar ones. They were on sale. I prefer the plain pop tarts without the plaster hard frosting, which are rare to find nowadays.
Convenience stores & small groceries that only offer 2 or 3 flavors still carry them. I just went into an old 1950s/60s bait & beer shop in the Hamptons that were selling them. They were sitting next to the live night crawlers in white plastic containers so I didn’t get them.
My granny and grandpa used to buy the unfrosted ones and they buttered them!

I still microwave my pop tarts to this day, don't hate! I like a softer Pop Tart than a toasted one.
I miss the discontinued flavors already. Chocolate chip cookie dough, cinnamon roll, apple strudel, and the peanut butter ones.

Personally we weren’t allowed any as kids but I did try one as an adult. Tasted like hot diabetes.
You can occasionally find strawberry and chocolate ones here, but much like american marshmallow breakfast cereals they were too unhealthy.
We were just thinking of getting Pop Tarts yesterday. My parent’s fave is blueberry. I like the strawberry and brown sugar ones. They were on sale. We checked the sugar amount, and quickly decided against it. It would have been a nice treat, but too much sugar even for us. I also watched some of Unfrosted. I’ll finish it at some point. It’s ok so far.

9:02 😅this is why you keep take out chopsticks around… when stuff gets stuck unplug toaster and gently guide the obstructed item out with one or both chopsticks…. You may still need to open it up to get break always if unlucky
