Why need Harry tell many lies and so many little lies about everything (when his grandgrandmother died on the book, when his mother bought an Xbox in the book etc)? Is he a compulsive liar?
I don't understand the problem of jealousy between brothers because, if William will have a role of king, Harry could be a good general in the Army or something good also. Each person has a role in life. I believe that is much more than jealousy of William's role. Maybe is jealousy of William's achievements like a beautiful wife who is perfect in her role, three kids etc.

Every time I want to make up with my family after a fight, I always begin by publishing a book trashing them with horrible insults and revealing private family secrets to the whole world, then I go on TV saying hey let's make up I'm ready for a groveling apology now. so I can really relate to Harry.

It bothered me that he didn't actually respond appropriately when Anderson (using solicitation) said something to the effect of: "some might say your family might be afraid to speak to you, worrying that you'll tell everyone about the private conversation." And rather than Harry saying that it was a legitimate fear or that he wouldn't do that going forward, he instead says something like "this all started by them leaking things to the media about Meghan." I mean that's literally just deflecting Coopers statement. I can't say I blame the Royals for not wanting to talk to him. Whether they or people on their staff leaked things to the press or not. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I think that these few years have been an eye opener for William , particularly his grandfather’s funeral . I am reading his book and I believe he is still in process about it all. It's hard to accept drawn lines in the sand, when you are grieving broken communications, rage on what isn't working, etc. Nothing to do with his lovely wife. It feels to me like this man is claiming his own identity. That's remarkable given his family heritage. He's definitely still angry and grieving family love unrequited. He has some youthful ignorance and bravado in it, but that will become seasoned with time. I do, however, sense his wife could be a narcissist and that his relationship with her will be something he has to also separate himself from over time. I sense that his woundedness is what enables their bond and someday he will outgrow his woundedness and therefore, what she seems to represent to him now.

I feel kind of bad for him when he says sibling rivalry because as a firstborn, I see this rivalry from my sister, but the problem is, I didn't look at her as a rival growing up. There wasn't rivalry for me. She was not even my competition. She wasn't on the same page, or in the same level, or in the same category to be my rival. It's astounding to me because one day she told me she even used to count the candies in our Easter baskets, and if she thought I got more than her she'd take chocolates. I never even noticed. It's not that I didn't notice her as a person, but I was definitely not engaged in petty comparisons. William is the firstborn son. William is destined to be King. There never was real sibling rivalry. They never had equal roles from the start. I wish that Harry could have embraced his role and filled it with all of the honor and dignity that he had to be one of the greatest supports of the future king. So as one firstborn commenting about another, I doubt William ever saw him as true rival. That implies relative equality, but Harry is not taking into consideration the responsibility that comes with being a first born, not to mention the copious additional responsibilities that come with being a future king. Diana died because she wasn't wearing a seatbelt, her driver had been drinking and was speeding, almost rear-ended a slower car in the tunnel before side-swiped it and then hit the pillar. On top of that, the the doctor at the scene delayed her transport to a nearby trauma emergency room. One hour and 38 minutes after the accident she reached the emergency room and was pronounced dead six minutes later. The paparazzi had longer than an hour to get to the scene and take photos. They did not kill his mummy. Forming strong opinions at 12 and holding tightly to them means his emotional growth is stunted.

I feel sorry for the child who lost his mother. He's far beyond childhood, though, and if he needs psychological help, he should get it. His brother also lost his mother, yet doesn't constantly bring it up.
I think one never understand how is it to live with a future king who is very respected and you are forced to take the role of the neglected and spare. Perhaps Harry loved him and put up with it but in his heart he felt envy. Childhood effect people differently even if they come from the same house and each of the brothers has his own character. I saw an interview that featured them questioning her former agent. They had been having difficulty finding parts for her, and decided to have her try out for parts calling for a black woman. She was turned down for them because she was too light-skinned to pass well. Sometimes I wonder if this might be part of her problem--does she feel like she doesn't belong in any particular group? Interesting question--my boys are bi-racial but never had issues with that, but I live in a very laid-back and accepting area. Nobody really cares about stuff like that here.

And honestly she was she was part of the upper middle class kids who grew up in Los Angeles. I honestly don't think she ever deeply thought about her race. If you watch some of these videos on TH-cam where it goes over her childhood and younger years she went to a very prestigious Catholic school I believe it was Catholic, but if you searched on TH-cam you can see years worth of pictures of her with her classmates and there's just so much evidence to prove that she never had to worry about feeling left out or different than. I would think the fact that her mother wasn't in her life for like eight years would be something that would be a lot more traumatic than simply being mixed race in Los Angeles in the 90s. She absolutely never ever even looked at herself as a quote-unquote black woman until it was something she could use to complain about and use it as an excuse as to why people were saying negative things about her when in reality it has absolutely nothing to do with color and nothing to do with the fact that she's American and everything to do with the fact that she is a mean, cruel hearted social climber that thinks she is better than everyone else. And for Harry to say that the palace didn't hush up negative stories about her is total garbage because look at how long it took for the story of how she treated her staffed come out? It's a very well-known fact that the palace was keeping that quiet as to not have negative press coverage on her. It only came out once they decided to completely screw over the British Commonwealth and completely sellout the country and people that a lot of them to have the amazing Life they do. It's absolutely nauseating in my opinion.

I lost both parents and a sister many years ago. I felt gratitude toward the people who attended the funerals. That they cared enough to put in an appearance was somehow an enormous comfort. I didn't need them to say anything special, just their presence felt healing. I liked their flowers. I was an adult at the time. I can't guess how it feels at age 12. Harry seems to resent the public, their presence, their grief, and their tokens of sorrow. "I'm not your step and fetch it" Or maybe its just adult Harry who is projecting how he feels today onto a scarcely remembered younger self.
Good comment. I don’t think it is normal for a twelve year old not to enter into a sympathy with the grief of others upon his mother’s death. I understand that he could have been in shock and struggling through the funeral, but this man evidences a contempt for the public in so many ways.
Your mother, the most famous and photographed woman in the world and also the warmest and most loving person in your life has died and you're wheeled out to shake hands and play a role for the public who are claiming her as their own. I lost my father when I was 14. I was an only child and felt it was my job to support my mother. I thought it was nice that there were a lot of flowers at the funeral home and that there was a long line of cars following the hearse as we travelled to the graveyard. To me it meant that my dad had been thought well of in the community. No one in my family had the wisdom required to help me process what had happened …the best I got was “it takes a year to get over it” …so I turned to logic waited out the year. The Queen did her best to protect the children when Diana died by keeping them away from the public at Balmoral ….H speaks with contempt about the crowds and being brought out to see the flowers …I wouldn’t be surprised if he held the crowds that gathered to say goodbye to the Queen with the same contempt.

The first thing that struck me about the cover of Harry's book is that he doesn't use his real name, which in Harry Windsor. Top and center is the name is got from being part of the British Royal Family, Prince Harry. What is particularly sad and almost despicable is that he knows that no one would be reading about his life if they considered him just Henry Windsor. There are billons of people who have lived more traumatic lives than Harry Windsor could ever imagine. For the love of God, why can't he just stop whining? I am reading his book and I believe he is still in process about it all. It's hard to accept drawn lines in the sand, when you are grieving broken communications, rage on what isn't working, etc. Nothing to do with his lovely wife. It feels to me like this man is claiming his own identity. That's remarkable given his family heritage. He's definitely still angry and grieving family love unrequited. He has disdain for paps. and that, taints him. That has hurt him profoundly. To me he has claimed non-spare status and working out the detail. This guy is straight up. Nothing evil or corrupted. @@Webnut I agree with your assessment of Harry here. He is on a powerful healing journey that requires a lot of courage. He has some youthful ignorance and bravado in it, but that will become seasoned with time. I do, however, sense his wife could be a narcissist and that his relationship with her will be something he has to also separate himself from over time. I sense that his woundedness is what enables their bond and someday he will outgrow his woundedness and therefore, what she seems to represent to him now.

I feel kind of bad for him when he says sibling rivalry because as a firstborn, I see this rivalry from my sister, but the problem is, I didn't look at her as a rival growing up. There wasn't rivalry for me. She was not even my competition. She wasn't on the same page, or in the same level, or in the same category to be my rival. It's astounding to me because one day she told me she even used to count the candies in our Easter baskets, and if she thought I got more than her she'd take chocolates. I never even noticed. It's not that I didn't notice her as a person, but I was definitely not engaged in petty comparisons.
William is the firstborn son. William is destined to be King. There never was real sibling rivalry. They never had equal roles from the start. I wish that Harry could have embraced his role and filled it with all of the honor and dignity that he had to be one of the greatest supports of the future king.
So as one firstborn commenting about another, I doubt William ever saw him as true rival. That implies relative equality, but Harry is not taking into consideration the responsibility that comes with being a first born, not to mention the copious additional responsibilities that come with being a future king. Envy is such a waste of energy.

One hour and 38 minutes after the accident she reached the emergency room and was pronounced dead six minutes later. The paparazzi had longer than an hour to get to the scene and take photos. They did not kill his mummy. Forming strong opinions at 12 and holding tightly to them means his emotional growth is stunted.

I feel sorry for the child who lost his mother. He's far beyond childhood, though, and if he needs psychological help, he should get it. His brother also lost his mother, yet doesn't constantly bring it up.
I think one never understand how is it to live with a future king who is very respected and you are forced to take the role of the neglected and spare. I saw an interview that featured them questioning her former agent. They had been having difficulty finding parts for her, and decided to have her try out for parts calling for a black woman. She was turned down for them because she was too light-skinned to pass well. Sometimes I wonder if this might be part of her problem--does she feel like she doesn't belong in any particular group? Interesting question--my boys are bi-racial but never had issues with that, but I live in a very laid-back and accepting area. Nobody really cares about stuff like that here.
@@Doxymeister in my opinion I think she went through her entire life feeling like she was part of a group very much so. And honestly she was she was part of the upper middle class kids who grew up in Los Angeles. I honestly don't think she ever deeply thought about her race. If you watch some of these videos on TH-cam where it goes over her childhood and younger years she went to a very prestigious Catholic school I believe it was Catholic, but if you searched on TH-cam you can see years worth of pictures of her with her classmates and there's just so much evidence to prove that she never had to worry about feeling left out or different than. I would think the fact that her mother wasn't in her life for like eight years would be something that would be a lot more traumatic than simply being mixed race in Los Angeles in the 90s. She absolutely never ever even looked at herself as a quote-unquote black woman until it was something she could use to complain about and use it as an excuse as to why people were saying negative things about her when in reality it has absolutely nothing to do with color and nothing to do with the fact that she's American and everything to do with the fact that she is a mean, cruel hearted social climber that thinks she is better than everyone else. And for Harry to say that the palace didn't hush up negative stories about her is total garbage because look at how long it took for the story of how she treated her staffed come out? It's a very well-known fact that the palace was keeping that quiet as to not have negative press coverage on her. It only came out once they decided to completely screw over the British Commonwealth and completely sellout the country and people that a lot of them to have the amazing Life they do. It's absolutely nauseating in my opinion.

I lost both parents and a sister many years ago. I felt gratitude toward the people who attended the funerals. That they cared enough to put in an appearance was somehow an enormous comfort. I didn't need them to say anything special, just their presence felt healing. I liked their flowers. I was an adult at the time. I can't guess how it feels at age 12. Harry seems to resent the public, their presence, their grief, and their tokens of sorrow. "I'm not your step and fetch it" Or maybe its just adult Harry who is projecting how he feels today onto a scarcely remembered younger self.
Good comment. I don’t think it is normal for a twelve year old not to enter into a sympathy with the grief of others upon his mother’s death. I understand that he could have been in shock and struggling through the funeral, but this man evidences a contempt for the public in so many ways.
Your mother, the most famous and photographed woman in the world and also the warmest and most loving person in your life has died and you're wheeled out to shake hands and play a role for the public who are claiming her as their own. I feel for both the children. He was left emotionally stranded. They should have been sheltered from having to meet the public in that way.

I lost my father when I was 14. I was an only child and felt it was my job to support my mother. I thought it was nice that there were a lot of flowers at the funeral home and that there was a long line of cars following the hearse as we travelled to the graveyard. To me it meant that my dad had been thought well of in the community. No one in my family had the wisdom required to help me process what had happened …the best I got was “it takes a year to get over it” …so I turned to logic waited out the year.
The Queen did her best to protect the children when Diana died by keeping them away from the public at Balmoral ….H speaks with contempt about the crowds and being brought out to see the flowers …I wouldn’t be surprised if he held the crowds that gathered to say goodbye to the Queen with the same contempt.

Top and center is the name is got from being part of the British Royal Family, Prince Harry. What is particularly sad and almost despicable is that he knows that no one would be reading about his life if they considered him just Henry Windsor. He needed to graduate highschool with 2 a-levels he earned a D in geography and cheated with the help of the art dep for the other. There was no follow-up to the "Why not give up the titles?" An answer is needed. We have no titles in the US.
If they give up the Dukedom, he would still be Prince Harry, his birthright as a son of the Monarch (and when he was grandson of the previous Monarch). That can't be removed without an Act of Parliament.
