I just ran across you video. We met the day that you took your CC flight in Yakima. We were the couple, in the Maule, at Cavanaugh Bay. Let us know how your doing with the new CC. My Channel is NWFlyer. Check it out. Cheers.
Dang man amazing plane, you build it or did you buy it pre built? Or is it used? Personally I'm not a huge fan of the glass cockpit. But it seems to suit this aircraft.
Wonderful clip! Thanx for sharing. I would love to know, did the pilot consider bird strike or engine failure during those extremely low river passes? If yes, please share what is the plan for action if something like that happens? Thank you!
Mitko Nikitov The flight was at speed not much faster than the birds, so that was a non issue. 170kts RV10 speeds different story. As far as engine failure, there is much less risk having an engine failure there than most of my flight over the Rockies to get to Yakima.
heatwoleboarder It is a totally different airplane. It is much more solid in all flight conditions. Visibility is much better over the nose as well. The SS will handle a bad landing better though. Lol. The SS does not have very good stick centering, the cub bounces to center when you let the stick go, like an RV. I really prefer that. Next to no adverse yaw in the cub.
Puely from a learner/technical aspect, the camera should have been aimed between the control panel and front window. (Head-cams are very distracting) plus commentary on gauges-use of controls, throttle. mixture, revs, oil pressure, etc. I could've learned more.
I am 14, and looking to get a Private Pilot's license eventually, maybe commercial. If I ever wanted to just "fly", for the price is the bushcat a good plane? The 100hp one.
+Knuckles For Knuckles This Carbon Cub SS is my dream plane but for 200$ is woah, the Bushcat is around 65,000$! It has its downsides compared to the cub, but it is 2 seat, 100hp, rtf, just need a professional opinion
That just takes off so easily and gently, LOVE IT!
That was GREAT Thanks you have fun learning all the birds by there first name...
+Tom Self (tomy2gunn) Yeah that wasn't legal!
That view is incredible! Happy flying.
Greet video 👍
Wow, I want one now. Butter landing, congrats sir.
That was a blast to watch... thanks for the upload. :-D
The cub will live forever
I LOVE your plane!
Loved this...I'm shopping for one now.

Looks like fun!
Flying a plane like this you almost wish for some crosswinds to play with
Isn't this like building a carbon fiber outhouse?
Good Times!!

I just wondered did you made up some sort of procedure for that. That will be very helpfull for others as well
Nice 👍
I'm really surprised to hear the CC takes off shorter than the SS. Although with the Titan 180 horse, would the same still be true?
How does the carbon cub handle compared to the superstol?
