Taylor, I recently realized too that balance is important to life. I feel at time that I say thing likes, " if I find a balance, It'll work". I've always struggled with time management and consistency with other things and I've just recently realized that it's really all about balance.
My boyfriend and I have been going to the gym together (something we NEVER do.. we workout alone haha) and it’s actually been the most fun way to step into 22!
I am so excited! I am doing a 40-day yoga challenge, upping my average daily steps, and doing small things to move more. We are visiting the frozen tundra of the great north but still am getting out. The kids and I doged duck poo 💩 to walk along the lake yesterday 🦆💩💩💩

I’ve been struggling with the back and forth of wanting to improve myself but not putting the “new year new me” pressure on myself that will inevitably chip away. And YOU are helping me so much! When I tell you I downloaded Lifesum on New Year's Eve! 😂 One of my goals this year is to reach my maintenance calories (1700). Sure, that's small to many, but the end goal is crucial to me I've always struggled with eating in general since I'm tiny with little to no appetite. So exercising has helped me so much by getting me to eat more. Then here comes the Lifesum app, teaching me that I'm allowed to eat more (in fact, it would be HEALTHIER for me to do so!). I'm 5"2 and I'm hoping to reach at least 120lbs by the end of the year (I usually weigh btw 110 and 115). A weight that I don't feel like I'm weak or about to faint every time would make my heart full this year 💚
Happy new year Taylor!🎉 I love the idea of the dog walks being there for the dog to enjoy and meet their needs instead of you getting your exercise in. This is how I handle it too and it brings me so much joy 🥰🐾 Unfortunately doing almost nothing in December and setting your goals for January is exactly me this time. Due to the covid shot and a little surgery in December I was working out about 7 days of the whole month possibly, ate too much (Christmas cookies and all that are just too much of a temptation 🙄 ), have to get my 2nd covid shot now, so it's another week off workouts... I'm not feeling good in my body (and health) right now and hope I can get my butt up and go back to where I finished in November ^^ Anyway, all the best for you in 2022, looking forward to lots more exciting content 🙃
I had to stop working out in October because of an infection in my knee. Since a week ago I can work out again. But I have to be careful with my knee still. So to honor my health and take care of myself I have decided to start walking workouts which aren't very straining on my knee. I hope to be be able to work out like I used to. But right now I can't. So to not get saditary (how do you spell that? English is not my mother language) I will just do that. And hopefully lose the weight I gained because I had to quit working out for 3 months.

I made myself a workout plan for 3-4x/week (in addition to my 1-2x/week dance training) as a goal for 2022 to get a little bit more in shape and build more muscles , I also try to walk every day with my two horses and walk a lot during work. Hope I can go on with my workout/stretching routine throughout the entire year, wish me luck everybody haha
The decorations can stay up a little longer. Peoples house lights and lawn decor are still out. People just want some joy. It’s okay. My tree is staying up at LEAST till February 😅

my dog is definitely the same! i’ll let her outside before we go for a walk but she won’t poop until we’ve walked for a good 10+ minutes
