    Nice video pal, I have a VXR corsa and it’s just as easy all being based on the corsa d. I always do a full service each year: Oil Change, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Pollen Filter and spark plugs. And a minor service every 6 months: Oil Change and Oil filter. Owned the car three years now and it’s running amazing no issues after all! It’s all about regular and routine maintenance 👨‍🔧

      Yeah definitely there much of a muchness! 👌 and I think mines running pretty sweet in all honesty so fingers crossed it outlasts the rest 😂

    When you change spark plugs, always remove the coilpack and then the rubber tubes that are on the coilpack, then the springs that are inside the rubbertubing and check the top of the coilpack inside the hole where the spring was for Corrosion. All this 1.4 engines have a common problem with those coilpacks, if it misfires and runs really bad at idle, it is the coilpack. * i have tried to figure out if there is eny better coilpack, what i found is that the Bosch Coilpack has an extra rubber ring close to the sparkplugs, so that should be mutch better keeping out moisture witch is causing the heavy corrosion.

      Yesss! I have not checked mine over in honesty but when I first purchased it I had an issue with it and got it replaced under warranty as the pack went!

    You should toll the size of all tools used

    Isnt it 3,5L of oil instead of 4L as stated in the video?

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think so as per my Hayne manual it says 3L for 1.0 and 4L for 1.2 and 1.4 👌

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It may be 3.5L if you don’t change to oil litter as changing the oil filter adds some extra oil requirement whenever you do it, but in all honesty if you change your oil you should change your oil filter!

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ow and on an extra not it does say there is a 1L difference between max and minimum so 4L should stick you in the middle so I guess 3.5L would work but in all honesty your gunna have to buy 3.5L anyways as they don’t sell halves

    As I understand, it has no fuel filter, right? Bought a fuel filter for my Corsa but can’t find a fuel filter on it. 😁

    any difference felt in the new air filter?

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes definitely! Not like a new car but definitely sharpened throttle response! If you check out my dyno video I talk through some of the gains from the k&n and fuel ! 👌👍

    Is the air filter perfect square?

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not entirely sure! My recommendation would be to get the one specific to the car to avoid any mishaps 😂😂

    Definitely to much torque on that drain plug! It only needs 10 Nm.

    • @NOTaMOD
      @NOTaMOD  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I tried to imitate how tight it was from it’s last service at the dealer 🤔 Maybe too tight but it gives me price of mind that it won’t leak I guess 👌
