I like to see when a designer or manufacturer listens to customers and actually recesses at least the clip screws, if not both the screws AND the clip itself. Another great thorough review JB. You do a very good job bro.
Cute little knife. A bit too small for my hands, maybe. I'd definitely need to take some sanding paper to those edges, but I agree with you. They should have done that at the factory.
Waiting a couple years and picking it up at 15 bucks was definitely the way to go on this one! Lol!! I am real happy with it at that cost. Also grabbed the large Pilar for 20! Good old sales at the box stores. Good review as always.
You would have to cut away the liner lock as well as the handle, which might make it a pia to access it. and maybe weaken it depending on how much you cut away. I guess it could be done, but not sure how well it would work that way.
I don't know of anything that bothers me more than opening a knife and finding out I have to do something to it. I feel the same way I am not being paid by the company so I shouldn't have to work on one I actually paid for. I expect to open it and use it. I expect it to be sharp only on the blade and comfortable in hand. I think that is a fair assumption to expect when purchasing a new knife. Hopefully they will fix these issues before they release the next batch.
I really like the Piet. I have no trouble Spydie flicking it. I would like to see a different scale on it, but this works with the texture it has on it. Great size and will fit in some of my coin pockets if not all. A great EDC...
Completely agree Jason! I am good with pretty much any steel when priced correctly and I can see the value in my purchase! I get into that subject in my CRKT 2020 wrap up video! Thanks for watching!
BigRedEDC Yup that’s how I feel. Give me good quality at a good price and I’m game. The “high” end is sexy but not easy to justify all the time ( especially with a wife and kids lol). Watched JT’s Knife Life video on this exact subject today. Thanks again man.
I like the overall design shape of this one to Bad they didnt incorporate a front flip into it I think that would have been super cool. Thanks So Much for Showing these CRKTs.
Lovely looking little knife, great review brother. Looks like it would make an ideal box cutter, but maybe that's all. How is Miss Nellie doing in the search for her perfect knife? Thanks for sharing bro 👊🏻🤓🤘🏻
Nice vid! I'm with ya on the finish work issue, big pet peeve for me too... I'm not asking for perfect at these prices, but these big companies have been doing this a long time... fix that crap.
I don't like modern folders but I don't mind this, it would be a good toolbox knife, not tactical looking so you don't scare the locals and the ability to close one handed is useful when there's people or pets around not paying attention and you're busy concentrating.
For use, I prefer the Tuna because its a little bigger knife! I think the Piet is the better value knife but that is fairly subjective. The Piet is more of a backup knife so for everyday use I would say the Tuna would be my pick. Thanks Andrew!

It is nice when they listen Timbo! Prime example is QSPs release of the thumb stud version of the Puffin!! Thank you very much for watching!!
Yes more and more the community is heard 😬
Nothing new offered to the knife world, but it is an appealing knife. A great package for a new comer.
Thanks for watching Sergio.
Thats a pretty sweet little knife and a great price point! I like the blue backspacer on it as well.
The blue gives a nice touch of color for sure!! Thanks for watching brother!!
All these budgets blades out there!!!!!!! Decent little piece JB.........thanks
Thanks for watching Pete!
Yes, this nice knife especially for the cost! 👍
Thanks for watching Dennis!

Yeah...might be being picky but seems logical to me! Thanks for watching david!
My next CRKT FOR SURE..
Right on Rodney!! Thanks for watching!

Yeah...those are great prices on those knives!
Awesome review thanks so much luv CRKT.
Right on Mike! Thanks for watching!!
Great review 👍🏻. I wonder if you could cut away some of the handle for better access to hole.

@@timbo4374 makes sense. I haven't held one, so I wasn't sure.
I agree with Timbo. You would likely have to alter the liner as well which could potentially weaken an already thin liner! Thanks J Cor!

Right on Mick! Glad you are enjoying it! Thanks for watching!!
Wow, I was just gawking at this knife during lunch a few min ago on SMKW !
Right on Pork Fat! I will probably end up selling this one...lol!! Thanks for watching!!
Nice little knife! I haven't played with many CRKT models except the Provoke.
Right on! Its a decent enough knife. Thanks for watching!!
BigRedEDC anytime brother! 👍
It started out so good with the deep carry clip and recessed screws but I'm 100% with you about the "unfinished" handle JB.
Yeah brother...its just doesn't make sense to me and is disappointing!! Thanks for watching!!
@@BigRedEDC Its a shame as they got all the other stuff spot on and the design is really nice.
@@growl2088 for sure!!
Awesome knife thanks for the review 👍
Thanks for watching Kevin!!
I dig the offering as like the blade size as thanks for the share as I can understand a bigger blade might be more preferred....Good stuff...
It fine for certain uses for for sure. Thanks for watching Scott!
Very tidy and efficient design, just what you’d expect from Vox. A good edc option from CRKT!
Thanks for watching Marshall!
Liking the texture on those scales. I’m not a steel snob, so 8Cr at a good price is fine with me. Thanks for the look.
Completely agree Jason! I am good with pretty much any steel when priced correctly and I can see the value in my purchase! I get into that subject in my CRKT 2020 wrap up video! Thanks for watching!

I need to go watch that myself!!

That could have been pretty cool! Thanks for watching brother!!
Good video Red I really like the design over all but kinda weird handle material lol thanks for the close ups and thoughts
Thanks for watching brother!
Nice little design and execution
Thanks for watching David!
Lovely looking little knife, great review brother. Looks like it would make an ideal box cutter, but maybe that's all.
How is Miss Nellie doing in the search for her perfect knife?
Thanks for sharing bro 👊🏻🤓🤘🏻
She is doing pretty well brother! She has a couple of knives that she is looking at right now! Thanks for watching brother!!
Some nice details for a budget knife.
Thank you very much for watching Randy!

Yeah...tends to be a little frustrating from a company like CRKT when so many other companies can get it right! Thanks brother!!
Mine arrived this morning. And I can't put it away. It is very very fidgetable.
Awesome Anita! Glad you like it!!
Good review JB! Thanks for the information!
Thanks for watching brother and thanks again for lunch today!! Appreciate it very much!!
@@BigRedEDC No worries mate, great to meet you!
BigRedEDC and thanks again for the swag!!!
My pleasure brother!!
I would order a second pocket clip and have one on each side it would look better than having it cut out
Right on jojojeep1. Tha is for watching!
Nice looking knife brother
Thanks for watching brother!!
It seems more like a backup knife.
That would be how I carry it Rusty! Thanks for watching!!
Mine will be here in 2 days!!
Right on! I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!1

I think it would suit that purpose fairly well! Thank you very much for watching!!
Thanks buddy for the great video my friend
Thank you very much John!!
Pete and George went in to bar, George had to leave he couldn't cut it. Get it Pete(Piet) can cut lol yeah I know a bad joke
bad or not, I like it, lol.
@@timbo4374 I do to joke was just a joke!
That definitely a "dad joke"...lol!!! Thanks for the chuckle TOJO!!!
Opening action not good due to small thumb hole and washers?
Depends on the knife itself
Thanks for three great review like the recessed clip , The blue accents and texturing not sure this one is for me tho !
I always appreciate you stopping by and saying Hi Rodney!!!
