Glad you did the Lighthouse point the last time I ate there was in 2010 it was the last restaurant my wife ate at The Villages before she passed away. It’s been hard for me to eat there. I went to Lake Sumter yesterday I walked the boardwalk trying to decide we’re to eat. I kept looking at the Lighthouse restaurant thinking I should push myself to eat there again, I got 50ft away and started to get anxiety and decided it’s not time yet so I ate at the Firehouse. Someday I might be able to ear there.
@@tombiehler4932 I lost my wife 5 days before are 40th wedding anniversary to breast cancer, on her death bed she said I have to move to The Villages because I love golf and riding the golf cart everywhere I haven’t used my car for 5 months. it took me awhile in June of 2022 I made the move here, it hard at times for me here I know it’s the right place to be for me.

I love their Captains fingers with the cornflake breading (have to ask for it special, it's optional). Dip them in their pineapple tartar sauce. Very crunchy and good! My favorite!
When I was recently at CTT, I spoke with the owner about wanting them to purchase and take over Lighthouse Point. I just love CTT, and I think they do a much better job at authentic New England seafood. We wanted to love LP, but CTT just does it better. But LP does have the ambiance, that's for sure!
We may try it again due to this video. We were there a year ago and my husband ordered clam strips that he said were definitely frozen and not fresh. We have not been back since.
We were very disappointed with it when we went (view was the best thing). Now the owners are focusing on this having shed Augustine 1812 in Spanish Springs (which we liked) we may try again.
