Knew You'd enjoy Morrissette's 'Messiah' (BTW: It's 1-take performance showing how skilled Mori is). I'm 85, from USA. Next Mori performance just for you & here's full TH-cam link: 'Moon River / Usahay (MASHUP cover ft. Miguel Jimenez, Adonis Tabanda, Dave Lamar) ♡, 𝙼𝚘𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚎' ...As you can tell I'm Mori fan, & you've only just begun. Listen her performances on WishBus 107.5: 'Never Enough', 'Rise Up', 'Akin ka Na Lang (captions on), or 'Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw' (no Captions). Another Must: Live stage performance: Mori @ Asia Song Festival 2017! So Thank me, and Thank You!
Thank you for the mention. The finished edition has the names of everyone involved in the making of this beautiful video. It was dedicated to the man who wrote the lyrics to this song, who sadly passed away in December 2020. Freddie Santos, he wrote lyrics back in 1990 for a Philippinen Christian Musical, which has been brought back on stage after Mori sang this song, Gary Valenciano, who did the original arrangement, and actually sang the song back then, rearranged it for Mori, and Mori being a christ, sang this with all her heart, a song like this should be sung in every church around the world, Mori has a worship album, but her song that she wrote with Sony Christian Music Philippinens called WATERWALK is just beautiful too, go Morissette live Band session singing WATERWALK, one of five songs with her beautiful voice and enjoy, best wishes from a brit in germany 🇩🇪, again thanks for the mention, God bless.
I see that you enjoy outstanding vocalists and in a variety of genres. For me there is one Dutch vocalist, Floor Jansen, who for me is a master of her instrument and I think that her live performances bear that out. Her ability to tackle different genres is also impressive as is her interpretation of A song. Case in point. Back in 2019 she started to develop some solo projects starting on a Dutch tv show, "Beste' Zangers" which not a competition show but rather seven singers of all types of genres coming together in an exotic location where one of them becomes the guest for the evening and the others sing material that connects to the guest in some way. The song that introduced me to Floor was a solo rendition of Lady Gaga's song Shallow from the movie, A Star is Born. Her delivery and interpretation is so enjoyable and surprising. I took the liberty of providing a link to that performance. th-cam.com/video/M68pe4a_9zk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wy3nR6V_J5p9zulj Floor also performs with a group and there is a special performance that shows off her vocals across several styles. I want to provide a kink to it too but cannot due to the current device I'm on, so Ill just make a reply to this post if you care to look.
As your channel grows, this band is going to be suggested to you by a lot of their fans, and one particular performance will be given for you to view. There are a couple of reasons why this performance is made. First, it is a song that musically is written like a movie score, not a typically constructed song. You know, intro, verse, chorus, verse, bridge ... You get what I mean I trust. It really flows more like you were listening to a movie sound track. Secondly, this particular track (which is live by the way) is the most reacted to video on YTube. One of the joys of watching that first time reaction is watching the reactor react. They have a huge world wide following, and should you choose to pursue it, they will come. There is a specific reason for me to give you the link. There are several versions of this song by the band, some with different performers, and even some of this particular one but has ads buried in the middle of it. This one is from their channel - no ads, no copyright, professionally recorded for the Blu-ray they released of the concert as an album. The concert was recorded in 2013 is possible the best concert footage I've ever seen (I'm 78 by the way) and I'm not like a fan of the genre as a rule. But this... Don't want to give you too much info, want it to be fresh as possible. The track is #13 of 15 and the attendance was 82,000 fans. They are bit unknown in the States, though they have toured here since they formed in 1997. I came across Floor first back in 2021, saw here solo first then this performance. Ok. Band is Nightwish (Finnish), song title is Ghost Love Score, location Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. Please if you decide to try use this one - th-cam.com/video/47e_961OQWE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qiM8FI_4mBs81Yg1 Regards
