I didn't think I'd care to watch the video versions but I'll definitely watch the fact checks on video, mostly just for how expressive Monica is and how much I feel like seeing her facial expressions adds to the podcast and the dynamic between you two. So much to comment on in this episode! Dax, you look great. To see you get shy when you're vulnerable is so endearing. The gray shirt is so much better than the white, which washed you out against those beautiful deep green walls. I love seeing y'all's expressions as you chat so much! It really changes the dynamic in a way I never expected. Monica's positive comments are suddenly over the top because her impish expressions belie her sometimes bored-sounding, monotone voice. We understand her better because we can see her! Also, she's beauty in motion, which is different than beauty in a still-shot. Love you guys!

Can separate fact check videos be uploaded for Monday eps, just as a normal/standard release, ie no live premiere? I listened to the audio this morning and paused to save the fact check for the video experience (which obviously I'm happy to do), but with the video release option you've chosen (live premiere) I can't skip ahead to the fact check which would be ideal if, like me, you listen to eps the minute the audio is released. Yeah, I’m disappointed that I’d heard via a talk show interview with Dax that they “now have video”, but the video is only of the fact check and not of the regular interviews. I am thankful I get to see them during the fact check, but was really looking forward to video of the interviews.

I am glad that you release this on Spotify first I get to listen while I am on my commute in NYC. This has been a ritual since I discovered this podcast early on during the pandemic.. Ooh- a new way to comment! I left Instagram but genuinely miss being able to chime in after listening to a show. Re: situationally taking antidepressants, my doc told me I could take a SSRI for about one week per month to help with PMS symptoms. It involved too much tracking for me, but led me to believe you CAN take them intermittently for help with certain situations.
Monica you look AMAZING!! I hope you know you don't need these dermatologist things and I'm worried you are, too quote Dax, trying to regulate your internal experience with an external solution. We love you just as you are!!

PERSONALLY as someone who’s been a journalist, blogger, and content creator for over 7 years now I love reading comments on my socials and 100% blush and love it when a follower compliments me. Doesn’t mean we’re narcissistic for loving the love! I also love when someone is honest about my behavior or attitude etc. Unfortunately some people don’t know how to give criticism w/o being rude and on the same hand some people don’t know how to take it even when the delivery is with kindness🤷🏼♀️ In the end social media is the Wild West and I love that the comment section can be turned off haha we can’t control others but we can control our space and our reaction to others.

I actually heard that for PMDD they will prescribe short term antidepressants with success. You could look into it. But maybe Dax isnt the only one out there it helped. So maybe it helps with other things too depending on person. Also all antidepressants and lots of other medications work differently depending on person. Or can make thinsg way worse too.
I get what Monica is saying about kinda wanting to see a buzzed or drunk Dax but she, Kristen and the girls get the best version Dax 2.0. I'm almost 3 years sober and I love not having to lie and see pride joy from my wife and 4 kids vs worry or embarrassment. Cheers

Trazodone is a SARI and probably helps your SSRI take affect immediately, not a placebo, but really helps you. Just my thought, not research based, but my own personal experience with trazodone.

Had to come to the video to see what the sounds left in at the end of the intro were. It’s been stated many times there wouldn’t be changes for audio listeners but I feel like playing to the camera in the intro and fact check is a change that’s not translated to the podcast, and this is first and foremost a podcast. I listen at work and commuting so I don’t have time to come here every episode and try to figure out what I missed.

I wonder how much of how good yall are is around your professions in general and also having the financial security to invest time in becoming better??... not hating just wondering how i can get to the point where those can occupy that level of my attention

Also, overall fact check keeps growing and growing lol. Oh, it's just the fact checks that are in video format - I do briefly remember that being mentioned but seems like it would be better to release those separately in-addition to the full length ones so people can just watch those if they want instead of having to scrub through full length videos (easier on website than on TV, etc...). I think you need some text on the screen when the episode starts that says that there's video of the fact check at the end bc people are confused when they stumble upon the video if they haven't heard your explanation on the previous episodes. As you can tell by the comments lol

Dax I take an SSRI for 5-7 days every month for pmdd (basically severe pms symptoms) so if it’s bad to take it intermittently we’re in this together!!

The fact check will have video when it gets to that point. And Thursday Experts will have full video the entire show. It’s odd but it is what it is.
Also, people use TH-cam without video for many podcasts, so it’s just another platform for people to discover this wonderful show we all love.
