TH-cam gave you low bandwidth and the avc1 instead of the vp09 codec, at home 1080p 60fps is fine but on TH-cam you get better quality if you upload in 4k 30fps, with 1080p TH-cam's bandwith is only good for talking head videos, but it degrades at high motion, in case you wondered why the video has higher quality at home than on TH-cam. Unfortunately 1440p is the minimum for TH-cam to give your video a decent bandwith. The video itself is still 👍 though, despite the drops on the lens could be less
Interesting! I don't really care about that though, I usually just upload-and-forget (I barely have time to sort and edit videos). I'm also more focused on the high motion (60fps) rather than resolution (1080p not 4K). I still have the raw and render files. If I have the time someday I plan to host them on my own website or something crazy like that. Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely need to start paying attention to this soon as my channel grows!
