George’s voice is so deep!
What blows me away the most is how the initial beginning of the demo sounds like a completely different song and it’s crazy how it became what was released!

Jamie Mckelvie Matty and George really are the dynamic duo... they’re so good at what they do
It's because he's their main producer as well, not just the drummer.

Still can't believe pretty much all the song writing is Matty and George. Blows my mind! I wonder what it's like being Adam and Ross just chilling and coming into the studio haha. I do know from this podcast that they mentioned Adam takes care of the shows and live performance things, just can't recall what Ross does! Not shitting on him I just can't remember.

This sounds like it belongs on the first album, more so than the final version like Matty says. The demo is the most 1975iest 1975 song since the 1975 by the 1975 imo.

George is an absolute genius! I love the whole interview because hearing how total bangers where born is amazing, I think it just shows how much work they put into their work.

So I’ve been trying to find a way to recreate this song accurately to this day and I finally did. Fam this song sounds like it has “SO MANY” sounds but really it’s like 5 sounds going together with a lonely pad sinking with the song. This describes it perfectly.

i think they played guitar and bass respectively, then matty and george did the production

Always found it weird that Ross and Adam have hardly anything to do with the production or writing of albums.
Comedown Matty talked about Adam being the most involved with the live shows, don’t know about Ross but I think they all just play to their strengths and interests. It is a bit odd to think that George writes all the bass lines that Ross then plays though
It's obviously Matty and George's band lol but Adam and Ross are clearly good musicians that are also good friends. They just work together as a group, it's all natural. But Matty and George are definitely the creative and driving force behind the band.
