Great review of the nature of the course (my local trails that I've been riding since the mid '90's!)... Looking forward to spectating on the route on Sat & Sun and being blown away by the Strava segment KoMs that are bound to fall! p.s. There's many more interesting trails in the forest de soignes (the woods from just after Waterloo to Terverun) than those they've used for the course...

It would be a fun course to ride with friends but it's absolutely not a good course for a gravel WC race. Not only because there is basically zero gravel, the course is to narrow for a big group to race there. This is bike path world championship. Who cares if this is the most technical course bla bla bla... So is the course of XC world championship, maybe we should ride gravel bikes there next time ?
I bet Dylan Johnson would predict everybody to be twice as fast at gravel worlds if they ran Conti Raceking in 50 or 55mm width 😅 But then his frame of reference is actual gravel, not what we call gravel in Europe. UCI Gravel Worlds in the US on real gravel would be interesting. Well, Moho got a taste of that this year and it wasn't for him
Awfull route single track farm down side of fields, riding threw the suburbs back alleys, what's with the walk way? Looked like a railway station, should be interesting with a bunch of cyclists fighting for space.

'We were riding in zone MVDP' 😂 Best of luck this sunday Cam!
When Mathieu shows up without legwarms in this weather you know you’re gonna be in for a ride😂.
It isn't cold

Glad to see you where you deserve, with big names around you in a great team. Good luck, man!
hello keikers...for a second I was having Puck flashbacks
Your Dutch is great! You also seem to do well with typical Dutch sarcasm! 😂 Good luck this weekend!

Anyone else notice the guy on the left's chain seems short based on the rear derailleur's angle at min 2:56?
Smash it tomorrow bro, don't be stressing enjoy it ❤ watch for the early break on the climb good luck fella
Very sad that almost none of the Worlds Gravel Elite is showing up -
just another UCI race on wider tires :-)
You guys passed us on a descent near Leuven. Good luck on Sunday!
Looks like a fast course. All the best.
good luck for Sunday, take pressure and appreciate to ride the words with the best rider !
Great video. Good luck Sunday

Great video, very good technical production and interesting course.
Could you make a 2h version for my indoor training session ? xD

Nice man, go smash it sunday!
Tás numa boa equipa, boa prova no gravel😊
Good luck, Laddie.
I love riding on gravel.
It doesn't look overly gnarly for a Gravel race, (and I doubt the hard core Gravel-istas would approve) but as ever it might produce a decent race.
I GASPED WHEN YOU STARTED SPEAKING DUTCH HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Nice video, Cam. Who wears the Belgian national kit on the team?

For me, the gravel world champ is the person who wins (won) Unbound
No cross world champions have ever won the famous 3 Peaks CX or the other way around either. Horses for courses.

Why is there no gravel ?
