Our budgies are almost 8 now. Since the moment they were 1.5 year old, they get high quality bird seed and all other things they need (stomach pebbles, multi vitamin once per week, a limestone, vegetables, some treats etc.). Giving them all those quality foods resulted in two beautiful blue budgies (dark blue and light blue) who have a fluorescent green color layer. They look fabulous and are even tamed! They were so shy when we started taming them. Now, 6 years later, the male is tamed and the female is still "in progress" 😉. She was very, very shy, but now she interacts more and more 👍
Wow! They sound beautiful! I feed mine all the best too, but they rarely even touch their "gourmet" meals . But they still look GREAT , so they must be sneaking just a bit when I'm not looking!

Oh my goodness he looks and acts just like my budgie Blue Boy when I was a child. He would chatter nonstop. My family was used to him but when company came they always said he sure was talkative! Some day I will get another budgie when the time is right.
He would chirp up a storm when my mother ran the vacuum cleaner!

It’s impossible because his nose is blue it means a male do he know it’s a male
I might be wrong.. but some budgies do show signs of homosexuality. I have 2 males and one of them gets very passionate towards the other, performing a mating dance and trying to climb on the other while the other always shoves him away :D also the one doing the mating dance gets all excited when seeing his own reflection through mirror. So in conclusion, it might think it's a female bird on the other side or it just might be gay or it just might love itself :d

Cookie is so sweet, I used to have an English budgie called Bubi, she was sooo tame and comical. That was years ago. We got from the store a young scared green/wild budgie...i tamed her a little, she took treats from my finger and we went to a breader to get her a more tamed mate to tame her or make her less scared of us. We got a blue English budgie...long story short, she made him jungle wild and now they are flying from a curtain pole to curtain pole from us 😂 i dont mind, they are happy together and have plenty if space and we never chase them, so they go in the cage by themselves and are not afraid of us tending them.

My bird fell in love! We have a male and a female, but the female is completely uninterested in the male. She REALLY likes this video though, we like to joke that she is a 12 year old girl with a picture of Justin Bieber.

My budgie Cheeky has just died. Thank you to Cookie for being a real pal for Cheeky over the last 4 months since his real pal died in September. He was so very distreesed at that time. We discovered Alens you tube channel with Cookie and he was a different bird. He was calmer and making budgie noises along with Cookie. He became the budgie I always wanted. He would spend time on myhands, we would walk around the house. Thank you Alen.

Yup Sweetie and Boyd are very tight , yet bicker a lot, they only call to me for treats .I sing to them daily and talk to them gently all the time, yet they don’t want to bond with me. I get so jealous watching videos with owners whom birdies are all over them, would loovveee to experience that just one time with mine. But , I love them, and their happy and constantly play with their toys and each other, atleast I can watch them and love from afar. 🐦❤️
