E90 / E91 manual 330d noise from Clutch release bearing.

If you just want the sound of the bearing fast forward to about 2 minutes!
This video was to highlight the noise of the clutch release bearing, but the first few minutes were a walkaround of the car because it was for sale on ebay at the time, sorry for anyone that found the walkaround annoying!

I put a new flywheel and luk clutch it makes this noise but drives fine race it frequently

The amount of videos on this... I'm guessing it's renound for bmws... mine is doing the same but drives absolutely fine and has done for almost 2 year now... gonna get it sorted though it's getting louder

Is this a Clutch Release Bearing or the Flywheel (50% say its flywheel and 50% say clutch Bearing ) before I sent it to the mechanic can someone share some info since its so expensive to change entire clutch set.

I have been told its the best to change the entire set, not just one part, you can find the kit at any store or internet, Luk maybe is the best or Sachs, but of course, its on you to decide. And by anyone opinion, when you change one part next year maybe you will have to change other part Flywheel or else and you will have to pay double the money for service. So the best advice is the entire kit, from 400 to 500eur

@@lokijuhygt112 that’s a good price. Parts can cost that alone! On my Volvo the whole kit and duel mass flywheel is £600

Its release bearing but unfortunately if you want to fix it it's better to change the whole clutch kit because if you change the bearing only and run it on old fly wheel the noise will come back real quick

@@moonleter6637 😅 yea I had e90 320D m sport and brought it with 100k on the clock and had the same problem with the bearing but it was just little rattling on releasing the clutch I drove it like that for 80k miles and it was ok but After 80k miles i brought only the bearing fitted it on with the old clutch kit and month later it was even worse that ever 😂😂😂 soo yeah if its rattling a little just ignore it and play some radio 😅

I had the car on Ebay, turned down a few offers around £1900-2200 and then it didn't meet the reserve. (which was 2k) d'oh. so here we are again.

I have the same problem on my BMW 1er , E87, at pressing the pedal on the same half position, giving me the exactly same sound. I'm considering changing every part, the clutch kit, and I have been told that LUK is the best

@@minune8921 I have replaced the clutch kit with all new parts, It was the release baring, but when I got it all open its the best thing to change all parts at once, because for a bit time you will have to change something else and you will pay double the money for opening it again. And i have changed the gearbox oil as well, again its on you you and your pocket.

Flywheel problem, because it's a dual mass one...
