That’s his version he makes. If you want one he’s in Springville Utah at Tatton Baird’s. His name is Chandler. Call and get one. Tell him Tyler says hello.
@@TJackSurvival he is a renowned hat maker based in L.A his dad was the Tommy Hilfiger underwear model. He uses only beaver felt and has a long list of celebrities that purchase and request bespoke hats from him. His hats have a trademark green matchstick its band. He has a similar video to this one here on TH-cam
I wish someone would actually make their own felt. Every hat maker uses the same felt bodies. The cost would be astronomical though. The regulations make it impossible. You'd have to have waste water treatment on site.
People do. It's a massive messy process that involves boiling and a ton of water. I have friends that do it primitively but not often. Primitively it won't come out as pressed and outstanding as these to. This is more in the 1800's style
Incredible hatter, hats and shop. He is making one for my daughter and she is so excited for it!
Don Powell that's awesomeness!

Appalachian Trail by Hunter Quinn on the Rambles CD
What a great video!
Thanks!
I'm a beginner . I love your shop . I wish I could come and apprentice. Amazing master hatter.
Google search Tatton Baird. He's in Utah
Why is the Baird website dead? I doubt I'm the only customer he'll lose over that.
It's running fine when I click on it. tattonbaird.com/
I'm very late here but the hat the bearded gent is wearing is spectacular. Fedoras are so cool and this one is pure perfection.

I follow Tatton Baird on Instagram. Killer head wear I will have to make a trip just to get fitted.
Dude's pure stud that man. Good People. You will not regret it. Your kids will argue over that hat long after you are gone.
That looks like the hat from the man from snowie river
It is very close to an Akubra but of my design and replicated from a friends hat. I do however LOVE the man from snowy river hats. (Akubras)
Wish I had the budget to afford a custom made fedora....
You will if you save up now.
