HMM Great Saber Review

  • Review of the HMM Great Saber from Kotobukiya. While its a dark color of a saber tiger with more equipment, it does have a different vibe to it. Compared to the old zoid toys that had motors, the new ones are definitely more playable and more customizable. Although a good number of parts might feel too tight, its not that hard to loosen them. There are also some parts that might fall off easy but a easy treatment such as glue will fix it. I may have broke the tail but nonetheless its a great kit for those who like long builds.

One thing about kotobukiya kits is joints involving articulation are always tight straight out of the box build. It is important to shave or sand down a bit peg and holes to save you the worries of breaking some parts. Try the geno breaker and geno saurer and the lightning saix nice kits.

What I do back in the day was destroying the coils inside the motor so that I get more articulation out of the kit.

@@marasai426 I have gogules the ogre and it has at least 100 runners in the kit...as far parts count I stopped when I got to 1000 parts....so it's MASSIVE....took me 3 months to build it.

@@marasai426 ah I see...it's a pity these are so damn hard to find currently....hopefully kotobukiya will reissue them again real soon....and if you do get the chance to get gogules the ogre then get it...it is very impressive when built....seeing it in a video review or in pictures don't do it justice...you really need to see it in person....I also have a red battery powered version of this too.
