Love the 767! Wish I could fly on them more often
Great video! I flew the 76/75 for Delta from '95 to '03. I flew this airplane a few times. Flying this category was a blast- you got to fly two different airplanes, sometimes on the same day. The 75 was the sports car, the 76 the Cadillac. Cheers
Engines sound are music 🎶 to me
That was FANtastic, look at the very sharp leading engine of the wing.
Beautiful! The 767 sure is a great airplane! I actually took the longest flight I have ever been on on a 767. This was with USAirways (RIP) from my native of Stockholm, Sweden to Philadelphia. It took about 9.5 hours but I didn't mind because I sat in first class! I have also flown on a 767 (American) from JFK to LAX first class.
Niklas Enblom nice! I’ve never been on a 767 but boy do they sure sound fun!
Apparently Boeing is going to scrap the New Midsized Airplane project for awhile as cash is tight, come up with a re-engined 767 along with a narrowbody the size of the 757. Would be impossible to bring the 757 production back from the dead though, but I wouldn't mind some reverse engineering. The 767 will live on with new engines and greater efficiency.
As an aside, I flew that same route but the other direction back in 2007 on US Airways: Philadelphia to Stockholm.
I think I have ridden in the 767-300ER once and I loved it for a very stupid reason... The winglets!!!
