These videos have been so tremendously helpful in getting an insight on how others do questions. I recently started my third year rotations and began uWorld for my shelf exam prep. I was wondering if you tried to remember all the algorithms in the explanations even if they weren’t necessary for answering the question. For example, I had a question where the child had meckels diverticulum and the question was asking which of the following test would help in diagnosis. I knew the answer was tech99m but the explanation also gave an algorithm picture of “age based evaluation of occult GI bleeding”. Do you think remembering these algorithms are worthwhile! I really look forward to your opinion. Thanks!!
Yep! Remembering the algorithms helps you solve similar cases in the future (and as a clinician too). With each question of thr same topic, amboss will show you the same algorithm so you would memorize it eventually
Nice! I have to overcome my “ocd”/anxiety about missing vital info if I skip. Such an eye opener!!! Thank you😃 Edit: okay, so you don’t skip. Can you do this in 90 secs or less?
@@acingmedicine I read only the stem and read from the beginning without looking at answer choice. Then I skim through suspected fluff. I think your method will help me figure out if I am actually skipping fluff since I will have more info besides stem.
This would be super helpful if I actually knew the information u knew. lmao like even if I did narrow it to migraine, I didn't kno beta blockers are best for long term. or for the toxicology hypotension one, I didn't know how organophosphates manifest nor did I know the treatment for beta blocker toxicity lmao. And its not like I haven't read it b4, it's jus I don't remember no matter how many times I've seen it lol
Haha, you know Smaun all this comes with doing more questions as it will make you force yourself to recall the significance of each clue given. keep grinding!
Please do more qs on step 2 CK please!
Thanks so much!
Sure, thanks for the suggestion!
WOW! I use the last two sentences first method too! Haven't found anyone else who does until now. Great video!
Great to hear! all the best 😃

You’re welcome! Glad it helped :)
Kindly do more step 2 CK questions please.. the way you solve questions is amazing 🤩
Sure I’m glad you liked it!

Glad it was helpful! And yepp can do it in 90 seconds or less. If it wouldn't change the final answer, you're good to skim thru

Thank you so much doctor for your great efforts, can you make a video on the most important topics in ethics .
Noted, will try my best in the near future
@@acingmedicine Appreciate, God bless you 🙏
Beautiful!
Keep it going :)
Thank you so much Syed!
should we read over wrong answer choices? thanks love your videos!
Yes read over them in AMBOSS
super helpful!
Thank you!
Hi, what Anki decks would you recommend for the Step 2 CK preparation? Thanks in advance! :)
Heard good stuff about the Anking. But it’s too simplified for rotations

Hello Noor, do we need permission to use Amboss Qbanks in youtube videos? please explain how to use their Qbank legally in any youtube content.
Yes, contact them by email and they should give you permission but with credit attribution
😊
Can u pls tell me whether to read a book along with first aid or just first aid and uworld/amboss ?
yep, for step 2 amboss and uworld are enough
@@acingmedicine thanks 🙏
Hey. I have a question should i go thru amboss before doing uworld, as i find uworld hap hazardous. Do you thinj thats a good idea?
it's a good idea if you have time, if not start with UWorld right away
Are you using the step 1 FA or step 2 FA? Also what are your step 2 scores, what other resources you used.
Hey Vamsi I didn’t take Step 2 yet. I’m currently doing Amboss for Step 2 alongside medschool. Planning to do UWorld near exam time
Which qbank is better for step2ck amboss or uworld?
Both are great and complement each other. I found Amboss more challenging though and clinically oriented
Which book are you using? FA-1 or FA-2CK?
Fa -1
Fom which resources do you study?
Amboss and college textbooks, with some uworld
@@acingmedicine are they available in pdf form?
