@@moachangki David Byron, John Lawton, John Sloman, Steff Fontaine (1 tour I think), Pete Goalby, and Bernie Shaw who has been Heep frontman the longest.
Lawton was amazing! Tremendous power and tone to his singing back in the day. Tough act to follow replacing David Byron as well. Can't say too much about his 'eye shadow of doom' look back in the 70s though his voice made one forget that in a hurry. Too bad things didn't work out between him and (keyboard player) Ken Hensley back in the late 70s for Heep (much like Hensley and their previous singer, David Byron). It would have been very interesting to see where Heep would have gone with Lawton into the 80s. I've watched several clips of Bernie Shaw singing with Heep and the more I see, the more I like him. Good range, decent power to his voice. He must have Mic Box's (guitarist and band co-founder) respect seeing as he has been the main vocalist of the band for a period longer than twice the combined total of his predecessors (16 years without Bernie S. compared to 36 with!!). Good for you Bernie! He also gets bonus points for hailing from my home province in Canada, British Columbia (specifically Victoria BC). RIP here to John Lawton (deceased 2021), Lee Kerslake (drums - 2020) and Trevor Bolder (bass - 2013). Go Heep for another 50 years at least!
I really like Bernie and John singing together - they're both great! 👍 And this song is one of my favorites due to Lee let the drums rolling in so grandiose - I LOVE IT! 😍
Great song, great dynamics, lyrics, vocals and guitar solo. I bought this album when it was rereleased in the States and after I had been moping too long after a recent breakup. So it spoke to me specifically; to get out and stop feeling sorry for myself.
Боже как бежит время уже двоих из Хиппов нет слушаю и любуюсь им с первого курса института 1976 год танцы в парке и группа исполняла июльское утро Байрон пел его у Хиппов
Mick,Kerslake and Bolder,Lawton and Hensley...should have continued from where they left off....after Conquest...the would be as big as Purple ,Sabbath...what a waste...
wowwwwwww John still has a fantastic voice,,,,,,, superb quality

@lionelalias4561 of course..how did I forget Trevor Bolder and the great Ken Hensley 🫶🤘
John Lawton kept Uriah Heep going in The Late 70s,3 Fantastic Albums!! And He still has An Amazing Voice!
Who were the singers or vocalist in uriah heep, I thought there is only one vocalist in the band lineup.

Great band, Fierfly among my favorite Heep albums. Lawton truly a great vocalist.
kerslake...very great drummer
I like Innocent Victim and Fallen Angel a little more than Firefly, but any album with John Lawton is a great album.
The duet between Bernie and John shows how powerful and yet different their voices are! Great song!

Why he has more hairs as in 1977? :)
Lawton? He does have his hair combed down now, plus maybe hair restoration?
I was hoping and praying the camera man would stay on mick for the solo but alas it was not to be. : (
"Firefley" - kto wie, czy to nie najlepsza płyta Heepów.
Yes it is
I think so
Берни с Джоном Лаутоном близко не стоял...
Mick,Kerslake and Bolder,Lawton and Hensley...should have continued from where they left off....after Conquest...the would be as big as Purple ,Sabbath...what a waste...
