So, the theory that one reason he committed this crime with the intent to stay in the United States is valid. I work security and I can't tell you how many of the homeless came into the store I was stationed at and stole items on purpose because it meant 3 hots and a cot; mind you, that meant stealing $700 worth of items in order for it to be a felony & the store could press charges. Some others would steal simply to get a night in jail and a hot meal. It's awful to see people having to resort to that. It's not an excuse by any means to commit murder but it could have been a secondary motive.
Yes, I agree. This is a motive most normal people can't even think of. In my European country it has happened a couple of times an immigrant that has been denied their stay has taken to violence and random murder or rape to get sentenced. Our prisons are like 5-star hotels in their home lands.
My fiance worked security at a hospital and when I worked as a cab driver, I would hear stories about the place from some of the workers who took cabs back and forth from there- and homeless people would also beg for a stay in the psych ward of this hospital. There was a young guy (maybe 19-22) who was discharged from that psych ward and begged them not to make him leave. He told them he was homeless and didn't have anywhere to go. Mond you this happened in the dead of winter. Anyway, they put him out in the parking lot and he sl**hed his wrists, just to get a bed back in the hospital.
@@E.M.Weddle I did security at a hospital as well and I experienced this type of thing too. They had to take the free food that was in the waiting area away because the homeless were coming in to eat all of it. Same thing happened with the water cooler that was available in the area.
God i wonder how common that is and if the police notice let alone care. Seems like a major sign we need to do something for homeless people first they see going to jail as the best option to survive.
My husband told me that when he was in high school at one of his jobs many of his coworkers complained that someone stole their lunches from the refrigerator and no one could figure out who it was. Weeks went by and everyday someone’s lunch would be taken. A few coworkers decided to teach the person a lesson in hopes to also find out who was taking their food. One of those coworkers made a nice fat burrito and left it in the fridge and it was stolen. Inside the burrito was a dead rat and after that day, lunches were no longer stolen. Unfortunately no one knew who was the thief, but they were glad it finally stopped.
My girl, melecia(sp?) from entertainment tonight, had me tearing up tonight. Letting us know that all great things don’t come in a pretty package and staying true can wind up amazing. Love to hear a girls girl letting us know we all matter!
I think he asked for the longest sentence to avoid deportation as long as possible Edit: my reasoning was everything in this case down to what he told the judge was a result of possible deportation. He stated to the judge “I promise, your honor, I won’t kill someone again,” while at his hearing after asking for longest possible sentence. I personally feel like he killed for the pure purpose of staying in the country even if it meant prison. He got what he wanted in the end and it came at the cost of an innocent’s life.
@@Veiledmusingsif he from war country why will he go back. When you can be In Prison getting fed and sleeping. Also the problem is there is probably no job, maybe no family to lean on.
@Veiledmusings im thinking maybe he had no family or if he was in u.s illegally there was a reason why [naybe he was running from something] and maybe being in prison in us was better than going back I have heard storys of people being wanted by gangs in other countries, and they get murdered so they run or flee to other places. I lot just doesn't make sense from the case to me. 1. You killed random target person 2. You said you would kill a kid. 3 You asked for the longest sentence, all of which stem from you getting sent back to your country, and because of your actions, you got what you asked for a free ticket here forever
As an american retail worker i can tell you we were not essential we were just disposable. They pay $24 in like literally 2 places, cities that have mandatory high min wages due to the cost of living. They still religiously pay minimum wage.....not nearly as good of a gig as you think.
I had dream during a nap that i was in a grocery parking lot an then a person started to crush the back if my head with what i thought was a stone , all i knew is i hadnt gone for my groceries yet . then waked up to rub my head , find out i am alive.
The victim ended up not being the one who stole the food, but even so consequences for stealing someone's food is having to buy them food, not being murdered. Being killed for something isn't a consequence@@camicoz
I can not imagine living with that kind of guilt. Please note: I’m not saying this person should feel horrifically guilty, bc obviously, they shouldn’t - at least not murder-level guilt- they weren’t the one who chose to murder the gentleman. But humans gonna human- I can not imagine. I would feel like I had to work for the rest of my life to do anything I could for the gentleman’s surviving family. And I would feel like I would never know if it still would have happened, or if it wouldn’t have, if I had kept to my own lunch, that fateful day
I just wanted to let you know that about 2 years ago (crazy how long it's been) I was hospitalized for 3 straight months, every night I would put on one of your videos and when the nurses came in they would tend to comment on it, these videos have always helped me sleep for some reason and I thank you for that
I’m from PWC in VA. Most of the time, they upload crimes in the area to the county’s crime watch page. NOVA unfortunately has a lot of violent crimes, so they don’t broadcast every crime but you can still see what crimes are happening locally
I don’t think murder is OK, but also- DON’T STEAL PEOPLE’S FOOD. For some people, it could be the only meal they had that day. Edit: So some people can’t read or lack context clues. I never said that it was OK to murder someone over food. I clearly said murder was not OK, and I also made an unrelated statement to this case about how we shouldn’t steal another person’s meal. And just because you’re hungry, it does not make it OK to steal another person’s food. You don’t know their situation. They are not Walmart. Whilst Walmart will probably survive if a hungry person steals stuff from the shelves, a human being who doesn’t resort to stealing may not be able to have another meal to eat that day. Food for thought.
Yes obviously don’t steal food because you never know people’s situation but that’s not a reason to kill somebody (ik your not saying it like that but still)
My uncle robbed a bank here in Virginia so he could go back to jail. He didn’t wear a mask or anything. He got put in jail when he was 18 for 30 years for stealing and writing $10k worth of checks! So when he finally got out he couldn’t mentally manage and just wanted to go back where he was 30 of 48 years of his life. He’s still in prison.
Everything about your uncle’s situation is sad. First the fact that at 18yo they sentenced him to 30 years for a non violent crime. There are child predators & even people that have unalived their victims (or tried & came really close) that get WAY less than 30 years! Your uncle didn’t know anything about being an adult in the real world. I’m 45, thinking about how much the world, technology, EVERYTHING has changed since I was 15, some things are still tricky to get the hang of & I’ve been out here to learn as the transitions happen. Can you imagine the world being one way when you get locked up then you come out & you don’t recognize anything? Overwhelming would be an understatement. I don’t understand the thought process behind the punishment? Here’s a kid stealing money so to fix it we’re going to lock him up for 3 decades where he doesn’t have much hope of learning ti be a positive, contributing member of society, matter of fact he’s pretty much guaranteed to fail… IF he survives until his release date. It will be nearly impossible for him to find employment to support himself between no job skills, no job experience & nobody wanting to hire someone that’s spent more of their life in prison than out. He’s probably wrecked mentally & emotionally, having seen/been thru stuff most of us couldn’t imagine. Knowing all of this the prison just sets them free to figure it out on their own. Then wonder why they end up right back in prison. Smh I take that back, they probably don’t wonder or care, prisons are just cash cows making a profit off everyone locked up. Your uncle’s story is sad & frustrating. Unfortunately it’s also way more common than it should be.
Omg Eleanor! I’ve been watching you for over 5 years now and listening to you cover a case that is literally less than 5 mins away from me is so scary. I was never expecting a case to hit close to home.
Okay but who stole the sandwich? Imagine stealing someone's food for whatever reason and later finding out that person actually ended up murder!ng someone because of your stupid choice...
I can’t imagine what I would have done if someone took my lunch when I was pregnant. I needed to eat very frequently or I’d get “morning sickness” (for me it was 24/7 sickness). I’d have probably stood in front of all my colleagues, shouting and crying and lecturing them on how one of them is responsible for me dry heaving in the middle of the office. Who takes a pregnant woman’s lunch?!
I can't imagine a boss saying "it happens" here in my country, we'd count it as stealing... Respect is so important, I can't imagine stealing a coworkers lunch and it has never ever happened in any workplace I've been at.
I have had my lunch stolen. It’s horrible to be in the company of someone who doesn’t care about your hungry belly. I was furious! I brought pizza the next day, and I put 3 Alli pills under the cheese. It is tasteless! I found the one that stole my lunch! After about 20 minutes, he was in the bathroom for about a half hour, then he went home bc he was having severe stomach pains! He never took my lunch again 😂
When I was little stealing food directly from other kids wasn't really a thing. I used to go to the bins to get whatever the other kids had thrown away. But me and my siblings used to steal money where we could. It's insane that poverty is so pervasive in "1st World countries". I live in Australia, we have a high minimum wage. We have the dole. And yet it's not enough to keep us from starving
Federal minimum wage in the US is set at $7.25/hr. It is the same as when I started working at 14. I am now close to 33. Don’t even talk to me about cost of living and the disgrace in such discrepancies. There is not a SINGLE place you can live in the US and even pretend you can get by on minimum wage - federal especially. Some states/cities (like dc) tout high minimum wage but have you considered cost of living? Yea. This country is a goddamn disgrace.
Ugh, I remember working retail at like 6.50/hour, which was better than the I think 5 something I was getting at the job before that...now I'm taking a break from my career and (my worst nightmare honestly) going to go work retail again....for $15-$17 an hour. It's not minimum wage, but thank god retailers realized that people are done working for sh*t. It's going to take me 4 WEEKS to make what I used to make in FIVE DAYS.
I am a new subscriber, and I love the cases you cover. I also think how kind you are for giving warnings before each case to help those who can't watch certain cases. You are so good at what you do, and you cover more cases I haven't seen. Plus, your point of view also helps. I'm now working backward to start watching more.
the story about the man robbing a bank for a dollar happened in the city i live in, it’s incredibly sad and says a lot about the system here in america
Please cover the case on Jessica (Smith) Judd! Some of my family members know this family personally. Jessica’s family used to live in the forest. Sometimes when they needed wood for fires, they would use horses to haul giant logs through the trees, whilst they were balancing on the logs going at insane speeds. My family member witnessed so many bizarre things while he was visiting this family. Very interesting case, but very sad as well.
@@ashleyduckworthyt3224 I don’t know how much information on Jessica and her siblings upbringing is available online but their family did some really weird shit😬 most of what I’ve heard about this case this through my family who was pretty close to them growing up
It's not cool to take someone's work lunch. Not all of us have the income to replace said meal, and we're not responsible for any allergies you might have that we don't if we're not actively trying to feed you.
Never said it wasn't. Just who thinks to just take someone else's lunch? That's kind of entitled, and only likely to result in trouble. Trouble that could be avoided. Granted, murder is an incredibly excessive extreme reaction to the fact that someone took one's lunch. -Yes, you should absolutely not murder anyone- especially over something so trivial in comparison to much more serious issues that I can -almost- see why a person might. Like cheating, harm of one's kids ect are a bit more understandable a cause to potentially murder someone over. Though, that's still an unhinged reaction to such things. (except someone harming someone's kids or pets). @@marti626
Ive had this happen so i spent lunch seeing what everyone was having till we caught the lunch thief. No one is justifing murder just sayin its not cool
Target was awful to their employees. They wouldn’t give bonuses or anything until other stores like Walmart did it first. And it was small. It was hell working there during the pandemic
Hi Eleanor! Would love to see you cover the case of Jennifer Dominiak - Buffalo NY. She lost her life at such a young age - her story should be spread to more than just locals in the area. Love you and the team! Thank you for always displaying these cases with such respect and passion. You and the team are amazing!
I'm a mother, who's 20 year old son passed away suddenly, there are no words. As a parent of a deceased child, there are simply no words to accurately describe to you how it feels, it's, quite literally indescribable. And parents who haven't lost a child can't imagine what it's like because the human mind isn't capable of imagining something so incomprehensible. Before my son died, my friends son had a car accident,, he was ok, I said to my friend "can you imagine.....?" At my son's wake, I reminded my friend of that conversation and told her "you can't imagine, not even close" So please, anyone reading this, if you haven't lost a child but know someone who has, please don't say "I know how you feel" or "I can imagine." Instead, offer a coffee, a shoulder and an ear, followed by a hug. Many Blessings from Australia 🌹🌹
Thank you for sharing this and giving more insight, its really changed the way I see that phrase now (for this situation specifically, loss of a child). I'm so sorry for your loss 🤍
So little random fact, I’ve worked for Target since 2017 and between this and the shooting that took place at a target, they really stepped up to try and help in any way with benefits for mental health! For any team member you can get up to 6 or 8 free therapy sessions for you or a family member ❤️ as well as a lot of other help.. also if you get your lunch taken and tell HR they’ll pay for you to get a lunch
I’m an American and when I visited Ireland and England literally every store was as fun as Disney World and I go there every year 😂 You can buy a single egg in a British grocery store! I was fascinated! I was like Jack Skellington in Christmas Town, what’s’ this? What’s this? There’s magic in the air. A cab driver told me I needed to get out more. Don’t kill my buzz sir, I’m having the time of my life shopping between museum visits.
People in this situation are also often not welcome back in their place of origin. Running away is often seen as betrayal and you might belabeled as a traitor or worse...
Kinda seems inappropriate at times though, she’s giggling and laughing when talking about someone’s murder, I love her videos but throughout this whole video her attitude and how she’s presenting herself and the case as well as it’s facts seems inappropriate. Don’t think you should be making little jokes and laughing and using funny voices when talking about a man who has snapped and brutally murdered his coworker.
@@EmeraldEsmerelda I get what you mean, but I genuinely don't think she meant any disrespect. I kind of like the approach, not because it makes the topic laughable but because I use humor to get through most cases, even when the presenter doesn't joke around. I just have to do that to disassociate a little to protect my mental health. maybe it's just a preference thing?
When I clicked on this video to watch, I was not expecting this case to be in the area I grew up in and still live near. This story is so horrific and senseless. I hope Ernan’s family has found some sort of peace now.
Not me having the Bailey's Crossroads Target being my normal Target and not knowing this story 💀 I'll excuse it to having moved here after this case but this story is SENDING me!!
I’ve watched your videos for years and I’m always waiting for you to release a new video.I love how respectful you are and you maintain your individuality. Keep up the amazing work ☺️💞
Oh my gosh, I've been watching your videos since 2018 and I never expected to hear you cover an event that took place in my own county, especially so recently. I had no idea this happened, thank you for covering this
Same! I also live in Fairfax County and was not expecting to hear the county from Eleanor! I don’t remember hearing about this incident on the local news, but I’m an elementary teacher in the public schools, so I know I was focused on the sheer bonkers-ness that was trying to teach 8-year-olds in-person and online at the same time that spring. It was quite eerie to know (and have gone to) every location that Eleanor mentioned in this video.
You look great today Eleanor! I love the hair and the blouse! As to the case, I agree that this was absolutely pre-meditated even though he hadn't chosen a particular victim; as you said, he "trained" himself for DAYS to commit this otherwise "random" murder.
Jeez, from the title I can already tell this is going to be a wild case. On a more positive note, I always love getting a notification from you. You're the highlight of my week :)
I think this is such a sad case. The victim's family must be feeling so lost right now. As an aside note; I love how Eleanor thanks her research team and the rest of the team, too. You are all making great content, albeit very sad at times. X
Me, an adult woman in her late 20s who works retail: I'm gonna go to the next store over to buy a pregnancy test so my coworkers won't gossip about it. This guy, apparently: I'm gonna buy weapons at MY OWN STORE and implicate myself.
One of your American viewers here and before you even got to the end, it occurred to me that maybe he wanted to be in jail to be cared for in some way. Not the kind of insanity that reduces culpability but it does sound like he was super emotionally and mentally distressed, plus the prospect of being deported to terrible circumstances. It messes with people to be really isolated, too, and it sounds like he didn't have anyone here or to go home to. Feel bad for the way he seems to have been let down so many times. No excuse for random violence, though.
I've been struggling with depression and anxiety my whole life. I didn't know until I was in my 30s. Last year, at the age of 42, I got diagnosed with ADHD too. I always hated myself as my parents were extremely abusive and neglectful, and thry brainwashed me into thinking I was broken, useless and at fault for their horrific behaviour. It would never ever cross my mind to harm anyone to release anything though
you should definitely have a look at the disappearing triangle of ireland!! it’s the most famous case in ireland but there are no true crime videos on it. 7 women missing and one suspect - who’s from my small town. my mother was a victim of him before this case took place. i think it should be talked about
Hey Ellie and team xx I’m from South Australia, there have been some absolutely insane cases happening in our country lately. I’d love to hear your take on everything. Love you guys 💛
Wow heartbreaking story. I watch all your videos Eleanor you are so amazing with how you narrate things, I appreciate all your effort and your teams. And thank you Alex for your hard work!
Hi Eleanor! I love the way you tell the stories, as if you really know the people you’re talking about. Please consider make an episode about the case of Nancy Mestre, which happened in Colombia in 1994

Hi Ellie! Would you and your team consider covering polish case about missing Iwona Wieczorek? There are so many theories about this case it’s unreal and she lived like down the street from me, I’ve never seen anyone covering this!
I agree that his purchase seemed suspicious, but here in the US, we do value our freedom and privacy. At the time of purchasing, we don’t know if they happened to need a new knife for dinner that night and a hammer to hang some pictures or what 🤷♀️ I’ve had some seemingly strange purchases before lol
You can get flagged for innocently buying cold medicine along with other random items that are supposedly used to make meth. Yet if you buy duct tape, kitchen knives, plastic sheeting and a shovel in one purchase--nothing 😂😂
Plus it was the Target he worked at so the cashier would have known him and the idea that he was planning to kill someone wouldn't have crossed their mind.
You were the first true crime content creator I ever watched. You were more respectful of the dead when you were 19 then you are now. How can you laugh and joke about this? Completely disgusting
this is just heartbreaking, I can't believe someone would hurt someone else because of their own stress. Their is so many ways he could have avoided murdering someone...
for anyone curious about minimum wage in the US: $7.25 per hour is the federally mandated minimum wage, that's the minimum wage that is mandated and enforced by the national government. individual States, as well as individual businesses, can set their own minimum wages, but it cannot be any lower than $7.25/hr. currently, 30 states out of 50 have a set minimum wage that is higher than the federal one. oh, except for employees who are exempt from the protection of the federal minimum wage. exempt workers include: tipped workers (baristas, waiters, etc.), workers for companies that make less than a certain profit limit (i.e. small businesses), PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, and students. those people can legally be paid as little as $2 per hour depending on the state and circumstances. oh and then of course there's prison labor, which is often completely unpaid. modern slavery if you will.
Anyone else think that they buy such questionable items in one purchase? A trip to Wal-Mart has knife block, fishing line, ice chest, fertilizer, case of beer, bacon, chips 😂😂
Anyone else think maybe he didn’t kill because of the “lunch” but because he was facing deportation and he knew if he killed someone he would be put in jail the rest of his life with 3 hots and a cot and he still got to stay in America…? It would explain the request for the longest possible sentencing too…
I used to work at a store like tatget and ud be surprised what kinda weird stuff people buy, honestly you'd be shocked at the weird stuff you buy. One time I was at the store and I kept getting weird looks at my cart; when I got home I asked my parents if there was a reason and they laughed at me and told me my purchases could also be used to make meth. Also idk about in the UK but in America a lot of people are very DIY savy so buying tools like that together wouldn't be weird enough to flag
Could you please cover the case of our teachers Sara Böök and Victoria Edström..? It's been two years now since they were brutally murdered by a student at the school. It has affected many and is hardly ever talked about. But you can take a lot from this case and they deserve to be talked about. I've brought this up before and I don't want to come across as if I'm nagging but this has just really affected me and so many people..I don't feel like they have gotten all of the justice unless their stories and names are shared and talked about.
I am from the US and live in the Northern Virginia area where this occurred. I remember this clearly. However you’re the first person who mentioned deportation. You always provide the most in depth information. You have an amazing research team. I wonder if the Bailey Crossroads Target location got in trouble for hiring an illegal because he would have needed a state issued driver license or ID., along with a social security card.
the way i thought this was posted a year or two ago, and when i saw the fact it was posted a couple minutes ago in the corner of my eye i paused my chewing and just stared in shock
I've had that happen before with that chapter videos I could have sworn I saw the exact same case he uploaded a year or two ago. But it said it was recent. So I went back searching for the video and suspiciously couldn't find it. I swear it was a sneaky re-upload but couldn't find any comments saying the same thing. I know I'm right though because there was a line in the story that I will never forget. The victims 3-4 year old daughter was left alone with the mothers body for days and had blood on her face and hands from attempting to nurse.
Oh no. Dont worry Eleanore, this doesnt happen frequently at Target… you can still go and play with all the squishmallows and find snacks. Lol. I loved that video
like i get having anger issues and homicidal thoughts over minor inconveniences but then to actual follow thru w a murder of a RANDOM guy DAYS later is way beyond
I am from the us and the accent u did was so funny 😂i love listening to your videos when im at home cleaning, putting my clothes away or doing anything! Thank you for ur videos!
God bless the USA…in a sarcastic tone. I am a physician who lost insurance coverage when my employer found out I needed a double mastectomy. There are laws where we can purchase the insurance for 18 months after leaving an employer. BUT the employer doesn’t contribute so I paid $1200 a month for the whole 18 months. Of course I ended up having complications with reconstruction (silicone allergy) and had a total of 6 breast surgeries. I owe thousands now in medical bills and am currently uninsured (we have Medicaid for those below a certain income) which none of my providers take and Im healed interviewing for a position as a hospitalist. I am a Family Medicine Physician however due to our current healthcare model (15 minute visits including nurse assessment for existing patients) Primary Care Physicians are constantly overburdened and buried in paperwork.
The amount of people here lamenting how terrible it is to steal lunch in reference to a murder case is insane. I have to remember that most are literal children or I’ll lose it.
Absolutely love your videos. So well presented and researched, you’re really fantastic to watch and listen to. I was wondering if you’d ever consider covering the case of Hannah Clarke from Australia and her children’s murders. Truly one of the most horrific and heartbreaking AND infuriating cases I’ve known for a long time.
i live in VA and only a couple hours away from everywhere mentioned in this case and now i’m nervous cuz i don’t even recall hearing about this when covid was big😭
I was one of the "essential" workers because apparently fast food was considered "essential". And then I was essential when I was a cashier. So alongside many others I was on the front line so to speak. By the way America should be ashamed for how we acted in 2020. Babies went hungry and nobody could get toilet paper. I was pissed off at all the selfish people
This has nothing to do with the case, but You made a comment about getting therapy to deal with your issues. In America, it’s not as easy to get help as it seems like it should be. If you have insurance, you have in network and out of network and if you go to somebody that’s out of network, it costs an insane amount of money. If you go to somebody in network, you still have to pay money, not to mention how hard it is to not only find someone to talk to, but find someone that you click with well enough that you can actually work through whatever it is that you’re dealing with. I pay for insurance and with food rent car insurance and medical insurance as a single person cannot afford to go to the doctor.
I choose option D: burst into tears and call my momma and rant for the rest of lunch while buying more food
THIS! 😂haha me too
I'd call my best friend and cry while getting food

Edit: my reasoning was everything in this case down to what he told the judge was a result of possible deportation.
I thought the exact same thing. Some people would rather be in prison than to be deported back to their home country.

You said you would kill a kid. 3 You asked for the longest sentence, all of which stem from you getting sent back to your country, and because of your actions, you got what you asked for a free ticket here forever

OMG imagine how bad the coworker who actually stole the food must feel now! (providing it wasn’t the one who was killed)
It 1000 % wasn't the janitor (victim)
I think this would have happened without someone stealing their food anyway.
That's why you don't steal from others. It's called consequences.
And I would feel like I would never know if it still would have happened, or if it wouldn’t have, if I had kept to my own lunch, that fateful day
I feel so bad for the victims family. Losing your brother/ son and then just months later your father/ husband. just so heartbreaking

I don’t think murder is OK, but also- DON’T STEAL PEOPLE’S FOOD. For some people, it could be the only meal they had that day.
Edit:
So some people can’t read or lack context clues.

That’s actually quite common, we just don’t set people up for release when they’ve been in that long. 😞
What did he go back for? Thats so sad
@@dott8348robing a bank, they said that at the start/info
People become institutionalized, and they just assume stay locked up forever. So fucked.

Before my son died, my friends son had a car accident,, he was ok, I said to my friend "can you imagine.....?" At my son's wake, I reminded my friend of that conversation and told her "you can't imagine, not even close"
So please, anyone reading this, if you haven't lost a child but know someone who has, please don't say "I know how you feel" or "I can imagine." Instead, offer a coffee, a shoulder and an ear, followed by a hug.
Many Blessings from Australia 🌹🌹

for anyone curious about minimum wage in the US: $7.25 per hour is the federally mandated minimum wage, that's the minimum wage that is mandated and enforced by the national government. individual States, as well as individual businesses, can set their own minimum wages, but it cannot be any lower than $7.25/hr. currently, 30 states out of 50 have a set minimum wage that is higher than the federal one. oh, except for employees who are exempt from the protection of the federal minimum wage. exempt workers include: tipped workers (baristas, waiters, etc.), workers for companies that make less than a certain profit limit (i.e. small businesses), PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, and students. those people can legally be paid as little as $2 per hour depending on the state and circumstances. oh and then of course there's prison labor, which is often completely unpaid. modern slavery if you will.
Anyone else think that they buy such questionable items in one purchase? A trip to Wal-Mart has knife block, fishing line, ice chest, fertilizer, case of beer, bacon, chips 😂😂

One time I was at the store and I kept getting weird looks at my cart; when I got home I asked my parents if there was a reason and they laughed at me and told me my purchases could also be used to make meth.
Multiple things can be shitty/horrible at once.
I pay for insurance and with food rent car insurance and medical insurance as a single person cannot afford to go to the doctor.
thisssss, i don’t have insurance and it feels literally impossible to get help
