I just travelled last week, i stayed there for 1 week w my friend for tour and i say Japan is the most unique place ive been so far. Japan is expensive, but staying in Tokyo can be particularly expensive. Next time, if you plan on visiting other areas, you may be able to spend more time with a smaller budget.
Bright Side basically takes something that happens in one or two locations and makes it sound like it's an everyday thing. If they did one for Australia, they'd probably say we eat Kangaroo meat on a daily basis. Yes, kangaroo meat is sold in our local grocers, but most people have probably only eaten it once or twice to 'try it out'.
Not only Japan but every country, every city, every person is unique. In every place, there is something that is only found in that place. Japan has 6852 island. Thats not there in anywhere else in the world And even strangely Japan has 1500 average earthquakes in a year Now thats earth shattering!!
the earth is not shattering its only because japan and/or its islands are located in 3 tectonic plates and all three moving and when tectonic plates move it creates earthquakes (from releasing large amount of energy) sorry I just like sharing science :)
Aren’t the pocket heaters hand warmers?? I’m not sure but we have them here in England almost all over school. So not very uncommon but that might just be me :)
Those Kairo hot pockets have been everywhere, even in the West, since the 1990s! They may not be called Kairo, but I doubt you'd meet a single skier or camper anywhere in the colder areas of the world that has not seen or used them. Also, every sushi joint in Canada and the US that I've ever been to uses that rice vinegar/sugar/salt mix for sushi rice. And anyone who makes sushi at home knows to make that mix too.
Some facts I didn’t even know of myself when I went to Japan, some stuff I can’t even remember. One thing I definitely remember as the KitKats of Different Flavours and Colours, something always worth having and taking home with you.
I love japan. My two teenager daughters even have a big dream to come to Japan. They love drawing japan anime.. and join Japan community. I wish their dream will come true🥰🥰
As a Japanese I’m laughing watching this lol. Pringles ramen? Seriously? The new year KFC specials are just usual yearly specials, like Valentines specials, Halloween, etc. Subway chin rest? Never seen one lol. A doll when you’re sitting alone? Where lol. Never seen that. Probably in some otaku areas like Akihabara lol. Come on, some stuff here are weird...
I gave up at number 10. After 35 years in Japan, I’ve only seen 9 and 10. You can get Pringle’s potato chips here. I’ve never seen the ramen version. The chips are everywhere, though.
The thing with KFC is actually does happening in Japan also(to my knowledge). Not everyone's doing it of course, it's just an event on Christmas of KFC. Could be happening in other countries though.

The word which u have written in Japanese is (baraitosaido) which means bright side .Right? I am an Indian who has started to learn Japanese 🤗😅😅😁😁😁😁
Close enough. It reads *bu* raito-saido, but you got the meaning right, though.
Thanks for the information💙
Nice Video
Nice
I just got back from japan 😂 where did you get this information?
I've been to Osaka, Kyoto, Hamamatsu and Tokyo.
Many instructions on signs are translated into English, Chinese and Korean to serve foreign tourists, but some of them are mistranslated in a HILARIOUS way that CRACKED ME UP ROFL!!! Maybe the translations were generated by Google translate or something.
Pokémon trainer red.
Hey Bright Side, how about you actually do real research or actually visit Japan before you make a misinformed and misleading video about a country.
Paul Dixon your being rude
Kavita Sawant no he isn’t being rude he is telling the truth
@@kavitasawant2205 exactly maybe the rest of the tradition is in china or South Korea or something 😊
but what he gets right is amazing
I agree
At 4:23 ....The sushi that you illustrated (Raw fish on a block of rice) is called Nigiri sushi...but you don't eat it with chopsticks...in Japan, it is properly eaten with your fingers...
You can do both. But the problem of this incorrect and misleading video is not that.
Here in the Philippines, a place called BGC (Bonifacio Global City), the stop lights there always changes when it's almost Christmas, the shape of the stop light is a Christmas Tree.
Meh. Everyone trying to make Japan seem like some magical fairytale location. Try living here and soon you'll realize it's just like any other country 🙄
Pretty much half of these things are totally fake lol
syrupyourmaple is not and I living in Japan too and it have koi fish cafe
The CinnaMan because they living in a other place so they seen it magical
I actually tried the green kit kat , i kinda liked it.that was absolutely unfake.
syrupyourmaple maybe you hadn’t visit japan...they are totally living in different world that we know of...some sound crazy and weird in our world are exaclty normal in Japan...
Even Japan’s history is pretty fascinating. From 660 BCE to now, the country has gone through quite the cultural metamorphosis.
Are you sure it's BCE and not CE?
Now I really want a custom notebook.
I know that Japan is a great country.I love it.Anything you buy from there is amazing , from the technological things to the clothes
Can I get some of their Solar household appliances online
I just rec'd delivery of some from Sunex Dubai but substandard, the type I couldn't imagine, their kettle, blender(juice mixer), iron, charger control, security light.
Even the fridge, I had to fix some things to make it work
I made excuses for them the first time in 2019
My husband and I hosted a Japanese girl from Tokyo. She LOVED onions like no other!!!!! One day she was making a dish and she put 2 very large onions in it without any thought!!! I couldn’t eat it because to me it just tasted like onion and nothing else!!! Ha.
Japan has 6852 island. Thats not there in anywhere else in the world
And even strangely
Japan has 1500 average earthquakes in a year
Now thats earth shattering!!
the earth is not shattering its only because japan and/or its islands are located in 3 tectonic plates and all three moving and when tectonic plates move it creates earthquakes (from releasing large amount of energy)
sorry I just like sharing science :)
IceCold Dragon good point dude
@@kidzcandy really its not my "point" its just proven by science :I
IceCold Dragon point taken dude
@@kidzcandy :)
A lot of things here are not accurate
Hey their’s “square” watermelon all around the world to all the people who play minecraft know this dude
KFC became a common tradition because most small apartments in Japan do not have an oven big enough for Turkey.
Aren’t the pocket heaters hand warmers?? I’m not sure but we have them here in England almost all over school. So not very uncommon but that might just be me :)
Different kinds of kit kat are being sold almost everywhere not only in japan.
Exactly
A green rabbit? I see the green man here in Japan. Lol.
They have those hand warming packs in America too, I've used them🤦🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️
Those Kairo hot pockets have been everywhere, even in the West, since the 1990s!
An ex military dude once told me japanese are from different galaxy or dimension.
Some facts I didn’t even know of myself when I went to Japan, some stuff I can’t even remember. One thing I definitely remember as the KitKats of Different Flavours and Colours, something always worth having and taking home with you.
Let's be honest...
We need a vending machine culture in the Netherlands.
Are u from Netherlands?
This is why I'm proud to be Japanese
then your not japanese
and most of the facts are false
I love japan.
My two teenager daughters even have a big dream to come to Japan. They love drawing japan anime.. and join Japan community. I wish their dream will come true🥰🥰
As a Japanese I’m laughing watching this lol. Pringles ramen? Seriously? The new year KFC specials are just usual yearly specials, like Valentines specials, Halloween, etc. Subway chin rest? Never seen one lol. A doll when you’re sitting alone? Where lol. Never seen that. Probably in some otaku areas like Akihabara lol. Come on, some stuff here are weird...
HighlyClassifiedUser I’m glad we share this same confusion lol
21. BTS is very much popular in Japan...
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜😂
Yeah😉 But Japan and Koreans Relationship is too bad.
My classmates boys dislike Korea and BTS😞

Ooh! come on, Japanese are creative nation, they can invent and built new exciting things what ever they think off.
The miffy traffic light is the netherlands, not Japan. Weird that you'd get those 2 confused
my favorite thing to do in japan is to go to a Lawson's, Family Mart, or any konbini, to buy adult magazines for 500 yen. most come with DVDs too.
all i can say is I love everything about Japan..
I love Japanese marshal arts
I live in Canada and we have pocket heaters too but I call them hand warmers or feet warmers.
that's why I rember seeing them ive almost moved to Canada but I convince my mommy otherwise it took 2 years and 3 weeks
I gave up at number 10. After 35 years in Japan, I’ve only seen 9 and 10. You can get Pringle’s potato chips here. I’ve never seen the ramen version. The chips are everywhere, though.
Ooooh, I love JAPAN😍
4:40: That's in China not Japan! 😒
The thing with KFC is actually does happening in Japan also(to my knowledge).
Not everyone's doing it of course, it's just an event on Christmas of KFC.
Could be happening in other countries though.
@@pencilcase2303 I found many misleading information on this video too, Pocket Heaters also exist in Canada and many other countries that are cold like Russia, Many of those pictures are in China not Japan and so on!
@@Qingep
Ok, but I was talking only about the KFC thing.
@@Qingep
Also I don't know about the things you've mentioned now, but if what you are saying is the truth, then it's pretty disappointing that a lot of the information there, was untrue or not things you can only see in Japan.

I love vending machines! Especially the ones that serve drinks! Those machines saved me from thirst so many times I was there for 12 days exploring the country! It's too bad the US can't have these because of vandals...
Yup. Soda machine was caged up at my old apartment complex. 😂
Do you guys know about "Dagashi"? It like a Japanese cheap snack, candy or cake. You should check it out.
I think Japan maybe the country of the future. They have a lot of things that for me are really amazing!
