We visit Mark Trinder in Doncaster where we speak about his pigeons and routines. We also look at his sale birds that go on auctions this Sunday 10th December 2023 at www.nphauctions.com
Mark you are so dedicated to your birds and you are good at explaining things, you remind me of Les Green the way he does things and he is dedicated to his birds
Hi sorry I’m late in responding I treat for two days when they’ve had a head wind but make sure you give them a good pro biotic and perhaps nystatin based product for yeast Cheers
Loving the video👍. As a non fancier thats thinking of entering the sport, when you say you go to the vets prior to breeding season for swabbing to check birds health, does that mean you take every bird to be individual checked? Sorry if the question is stupid .
Hi Alan, I would select a couple of birds, but in addition I would take droppings from many perches within the loft to ensure the test covers a % of birds The swabs will however only be taken from the selected birds I hope that makes sense Thanks mark
