Proven Winners couldn't have picked a better channel to sponsor than Garden Answer. I had never seen PW plants at my Lowes or or other big box stores until I and many other customers started to ask fir them. Even tho the price is typically a dollar more, people are grabbing them as soon as they arrive. Even Walmarts got several different plants. The first were small containers tho,and tho they were a bit expensive I purchased a few for fillers in my container pots. Then to my joy and heart I check their nursery every trip I make which is at least twice a week some bubble gum pink petunias were on a table. Large pots and healthy. I purchased six. Which was half on the table. They were the talk of all my container pots. I used two in one container that sat upon a pedestal. That sat on a raised concrete form surrounded by landscape stone. It stayed mounded not flat in the center ,and grew all the way down the pedestal.I hsd to cut it back twice this it hurt my heart to do so. But you really needed to see the pedestal to make it look nice. Proven winners are my favorite plants especially when you can find the larger containers. Hopefully I can find the hybicuss. They are just gorgeous. I have two planted and they come back every late spring but not as vigorous as Laura's. Plus the sedum to add as a border plant. All these plants delivered made me happy. They came to a good home, and the placements in mind is going to be gorgeous.
Don’t forget that if you can’t find something close to home you can order it from their website. The plants arrive in perfect condition and you get to have whatever you like. ;-) I live in a pretty remote area and their website makes my summer gardening a pleasure.
Last year I picked up 3 tea roses at Walmart. Tiny containers, planted in the ground not expecting them to survive our Wisconsin winter, but this year they grew to 2ft. tall and full of flowers! Proven Winners is awesome!

Good morning from Kentucky. I just love your videos everyday. I am three weeks into recovery from my second total knee replacement surgery and am enjoying watching your videos. How fun to watch you “unbox” and plant! Question: When watching you dig holes for the hibiscus, do you ever stop and think what a difference you have made in the soil on your property? Laura, I’m glad you like the PW hibiscus. They were a game changer for me. They ate my favorite flower but mine died until you introduced me to the PW brand. I love they can take my Houston heat and cold and the hurricanes. We never know what weather we will have. This summer after the hurricane my fence fell on my hibiscus and laid on it for a week. After removing the fence panel I cut the hibiscus back and low n behold it’s growing back. It’s about 3 ft and growing. Now I have 8 in my garden.

Food for thought with the heuchera. I live in New England and actually plant all heuchera in full sun because they tend to thrive best. I’ve had them Peter out and it only happens in shadier spots. I usually follow the rule of heuchera = sun, heucherella = part shade, tiarella = shade. I know conditions are much hotter in the summer there, but maybe it could help to put the heuchera in a little more sun!
I wish I could grow it. I managed to keep one alive for a year and a half but the poor thing just hated living here and eventually gave up and shriveled 😢

hi! I am a new gardener and was wondering if you had a book or will write a book that has plants names of the plants you use in your garden, with pictures, bloom times of year, if it’s an annual or perennial, dry or moist soil, colors of leaves or flowers in fall/spring/summer/winter, height and width, deer resistant, when to fertilize, how and when to prune. It would be so helpful. Like a quick reference book. The tags at the nursery don’t have all the information. Just a thought. Love your show I am learning so much!
NOW I know where to plant my Chitalpa - thanks to your info. Sun, open show off space, deer resistant! I will remove one much loved plant and replace it with another I'm sure to love. Down here in FL the hibiscus are just wonderful and I can't wait for the fragrance to come.

Hi Laura & co :) Love seeing your world continuing to flourish and grow ❤ here in Uk our gardens are so different and so less vibrant (less sun lol! ) so watching you brings a dreamlike quality to our lives 😂 I love it !! 🎉🎉🎉
Love all your new plants. I am exhausted just thinking about planting that many plants. I do enjoy watching you place plants and get them in the ground. Happy planting.
I love your videos and I do wish they would last longer too. And please give us a update on those hibiscus as soon as possible so we can see how they bounced back and how you actually put water around them please. I actually ordered a couple of those hibiscus because of what you showed us and I live in Arizona so I hope they do well and I'm going to put them in containers.
What a wonderful delivery of amazing plants! Laura's enthusiasm is very contagious. It's what makes this site so addictive. Garden Answer is my go-to.💙🤗💙
Beautiful. Must cost a fortune to be constantly buying and planting new plants. Looks like you have the room to do it. Good on you. Our economy doesn’t allow a lot of extras for most of us.
I do enjoy learning about plants new to me. I knew the name hibiscus but couldn't have told you anything about them. Now I want one!. I'll watch as plants are tired and sold discounted. Can they be grown from seed? That would be a fun informative journey. Love your excitement! It's catching! 💜🐸💚🐸💙😎
I planted the Hibiscus roselle variety for tea for the first time this year… I read the label wrong, they’re huge! On the plus side, their leaves are delicious and I have an insane amount of calyx’s so I should be set on tea for a while. It’ll probably be Christmas gifts for a few people
SO AWESOME !!! To be honest I was a little concerned by the look of some of those plants when they arrived but you don't seemed to be worried and I know you know what you're doing !! Those hibiscus will be so gorgeous..... the bright pink ones you showed us at the end are FABULOUS, WOW. 😍 My grandmother used to grow those a lot and I loved them.
I encourage you to make Hibiscus tea! So much fun and so tasty. The fun part is adding some lemon juice to bring out the color from the petals… the kiddos would love seeing it….
My morning coffee is always so much more enjoyable while watching your videos. Thanks for all the inspiration! I was curious if all the hibiscus plants made it? They did look like they were kind of struggling.
I screen shot plants as you go through them and that dark sedum keeps making the list! Also, need to add the phlox you mentioned bc the tall, white variety I planted this spring may have succumb to powdery mildew. I am also needing a couple more summerific varieties to plant alongside the starry, starry night and the berry awesome I got this year. Basically for Mother’s Day and my birthday I buy a few perennials and see how they do in my yard. 🥰
Be careful there is an annual hibiscus (your potted plants) and a perennial one which look very much the same. Be sure and check the tag so you won't be disappointed. Hugs from a master gardener.
My last hibiscus flower bloomed yesterday which was Fitting since yesterday was the first day of autumn. It bloomed it's butt off this summer. So beautiful
Laura, there is a new perennial grass for our zone called Blackhawks Big Bluestem (Andropogon gerardii) . It is that dark purple that we all want. I haven’t been able to get my hands on it yet but hope to next Spring. I saw it in the gardens on Mackinac Island a couple weeks ago.🥰
Darn the hosta looks like they have been through the heat and wind 🥵. Hopefully they will come out of it. The hibiscus will be amazing I love th pink and white 🌸. You have a lot of work ahead. I never order plants online because I have not been very happy with the one time that I tried maybe I am just old fashioned and like to see what I have purchased. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.

Love seeing your world continuing to flourish and grow ❤ here in Uk our gardens are so different and so less vibrant (less sun lol! ) so watching you brings a dreamlike quality to our lives 😂
I love it !! 🎉🎉🎉
I love my 2 Evening Rose. In West Texas they come up in April & bloom several times in the summer & fall.
Good morning! All those plants, how wonderful. I’m not a hibiscus fan but the colors are gorgeous.
The Hibiscus will look wonderful amongst the evergreens!
Ohhhhhh how I LOVE Hibiscus!
I do enjoy learning about plants new to me. I knew the name hibiscus but couldn't have told you anything about them. Now I want one!. I'll watch as plants are tired and sold discounted. Can they be grown from seed? That would be a fun informative journey. Love your excitement! It's catching! 💜🐸💚🐸💙😎
Laura & Aaron, wishing you Happy Anniversary!! What better way to spend it unboxing all those plants and planning for the pond extension.🪴
I planted the Hibiscus roselle variety for tea for the first time this year… I read the label wrong, they’re huge! On the plus side, their leaves are delicious and I have an insane amount of calyx’s so I should be set on tea for a while. It’ll probably be Christmas gifts for a few people
Your videos relaxed me. Thank you so much 😊
SO AWESOME !!!
This was so exciting! So many great projects. Thank you for sharing the information on Hibiscus plant.
I can’t wait for the Dream Stream project.😊
Laura I can't wait for the dream stream to begin! I have been a fan of All you and your's do for 8 years and never miss a video 😊❤❤
I hope you consider a Buckskin when you get your horses. They're gorgeous, and Matt Dillion rode a Buckskin. 😊
Love those new plant hauls 🎉
Good morning from Delaware Garden Answer friends.
Wow 🤩 lots of great plants. 🪴
In Texas today we had a cool front come through with rain. Temps in the 80's this week. Can't wait to see what my garden does.
I didn’t realize until Jenny from Creekside Nursery mentioned there are two shapes - gumdrop and conical - for the summerific hibiscus, too.
Oh my goodness…that raspberry coloured hibiscus!!!❤❤❤ I have never grown hibiscus in the landscape..just in pots!
Be careful there is an annual hibiscus (your potted plants) and a perennial one which look very much the same. Be sure and check the tag so you won't be disappointed. Hugs from a master gardener.
Paul you are amazing for helping Laura God bless you 🙏 ❤️
Thanks for more ideas for my garden!!!!!!💚💚💚
❣Laura's excited anticipation for the Dream Stream is contagious! ❣
Maybe the other 5 could go out in The north garden on the berm. It would look playful for the kids zone and tropical for the new pool one day!
Keep the info coming on this variety!!! Very interested!❤
I immediately ordered one from American Meadows! Thanks for tip!
I love hibiscus … glad you kept it. Easy maintenance 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
I have 'Perfect Storm' planted and it is the most beautiful color!🎉
Darn the hosta looks like they have been through the heat and wind 🥵. Hopefully they will come out of it. The hibiscus will be amazing I love th pink and white 🌸. You have a lot of work ahead. I never order plants online because I have not been very happy with the one time that I tried maybe I am just old fashioned and like to see what I have purchased. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.
That aster would look so pretty by the stream.
So many pretties, I think I am turning green!
It won’t be long we’ll be seeing you plant this new load near the dream stream. Can’t wait to see that project get started.
