They always pass judgement onto others when they do the wrong thing, but if someone from their own Klan does the wrong thing, they make up a bunch of excuses to justify it. The most recent examples I can think of is the way Quinn and Carter were treated following their affair in comparison to Eric and Donna, as well as when Hope tried to excuse Brooke cheating on Ridge because she was drunk and because it was "just one kiss", but then the drinking was no excuse when her own husband cheated on her. The sad thing is that the writers purposefully let them get away with the things they do with no punishment and no one to call them out (other than being separated from their men for a couple of months before reuniting with them), whereas other chartacters are slut-shamed left, right and centre.

She did the best she could to support Hope as much as she needed when she thought Beth was dead (she never used that period of time as an excuse to hook up with Liam either), whereas Hope saw Steffy's miscarriage in 2013 as an opportunity to get Liam back. If I remember correctly, she actually said in one of the episodes that Steffy losing her child was a "blessing" for her and Liam. Even in the recent triangle rehash, she slept with Liam while he was still married to Steffy (right before Kelly was born as well), and let's not forget that dressing room incident which almost led to the two of them sleeping together once again if Steffy didn't walk in one them. Steffy and Liam were also engaged when that happened, by the way. Kelly was only a few weeks old. Every time Hope or any one of the Logans runs their mouths about respecting them and their marriages, I can't help but laugh. They wouldn't understand what respect is even if it slapped them across the face.

Regardless of what Steffy did with Bill (which was 100% wrong), you can't pretend that Hope's behaviour with Liam was appropriate, or respectful, for that matter. And of course Liam's behaviour was not appropriate either. Not only did she disrespect Steffy, she disrespected her unborn daughter as well
