I honestly don't know what Law thought would happen when he got in an alliance with a guy who punched a Celestial Dragon in the face right in front of him.
For real, within days of meeting Luffy he saw him punch a Celestial Dragon, try to throw hands with a Marine Admiral and then appear out of NOWHERE with a bunch of power houses to invade the Marineford war. Law has only himself to blame.
Unpopular opinion: I actually like Caesar. Not because he's underrated or more complex than people think, but because I unironically think he's one of the funniest antagonists in the series. I love his chemistry (or rather lack thereof) with Luffy and co. I also love his laugh. One of the best, in my opinion.
I love Punk Hazard because of how bad I feel for Smoker and especially Law. Smoker just wants to catch the Straw Hats after 2 years of nothing, and Law has a methodical plan that is being jeopardized by his pirate alliance with Luffy.
The fact that Luffy can "Inhale all the gas and blow it out his ears like some kind of a cartoon character" is actually completely canonical power development. His rubberiness was always a side effect of something more.
Saying that Franky did nothing is crazy. Maybe during the arc he wasn’t really present but at the end he fought both Baby 5 and spin guy without taking any damage. Meaning he’s stronger than both of them combined

Luffy: Addiction is a serious problem Smoker: Wait, but you- Luffy: I chose my crack, I didn't get tricked into it, I did the research, and chose this path. Ceasar is tricking those kids into this life, and that's not right Absolutely everyone in existence: YOU RESEARCHED SOMETHING!?!

I think the whole point of Usopp’s plants is that it doesn’t really have a concrete named set of abilities. Like pre time skip Usopp, it’s just a grab bag of different hyper-specialized pop greens that can do any one of a number of things. It’s pretty much an enhanced version of his proclivity for improvised technology in pre-timeskip (which I do admit I liked more. I miss Usopp being so damn creative with Dials. He literally INVENTED RIFLING... ON A SLINGSHOT...IN A WORLD WITH NOTHING BUT SMOOTHBORE GUNS). When Chopper got tied to Law's head I burst out laughing. One of the best moments in OP, when Law who had been nothing but a complete badass until now, made the mistake of allying with Luffy and got drawn into his pace so quickly.
Luffy being immune to the poison gas will never not be funny.
Magellan's breakfast was more poisonous than Caesar's poison gas
@@gramfero, if Luffy broke Doflamgino out of Impel Down like he did with Crocodile and Buggy then he’d be completely immune to all of Magellan’s Devil Fruit abilities including his Red Devil Venom abilities.
Luffy said I'm dying oh wait I'm a crack head
@@RoronoaZoro-ur6hr luffy is not immune to all poison and venom, he almost died by eating a poison fish .
@@RoronoaZoro-ur6hrLuffy is resistant to poison but not immune, he still had to be saved by Reiju after eating a poisonous fish remember. Megellan would probably still fuck him up bad
@@HubiKoshinot out of nowhere. Out from the sky. On a navy ship.
@@josephbolton5893 That just makes it worse for Law XD
Unpopular opinion: I actually like Caesar. Not because he's underrated or more complex than people think, but because I unironically think he's one of the funniest antagonists in the series. I love his chemistry (or rather lack thereof) with Luffy and co. I also love his laugh. One of the best, in my opinion.
I just love to see Caesar being disrespected by everyone around him, like nobody respects the man, he is as the name suggest, just a clown.
I want to put him in a glass container and shake it (complementary)
ceaser being the crews punching bag all through whole cake and dressrosa will always be one of my favorite gags
Same I love him
@@nikki4227 Same, I almost felt bad for him...almost.
I love Punk Hazard because of how bad I feel for Smoker and especially Law. Smoker just wants to catch the Straw Hats after 2 years of nothing, and Law has a methodical plan that is being jeopardized by his pirate alliance with Luffy.
Law is my favorite character and honestly elevated this arc so much
Law carried this arc 😂
The fact that Luffy can "Inhale all the gas and blow it out his ears like some kind of a cartoon character" is actually completely canonical power development. His rubberiness was always a side effect of something more.
Saying that Franky did nothing is crazy.
Maybe during the arc he wasn’t really present but at the end he fought both Baby 5 and spin guy without taking any damage.
Meaning he’s stronger than both of them combined
Which is also why his photo is of Battle Franky lol
This....wasn't the dressrosa arc video though?
@@vdajay4580That fight was on Punk Hazard
@@vdajay4580 that all happened while defending the ship in punk hazard. Mr Pink was dressrosa
@@vdajay4580 i guess it is the start of Dressrosa but it happens on punk hazard
15:08 “Is your devil fruit power to not take anything seriously?” Yes. Yes it is.
First, Zoro's against racism, now Luffy's against drug abuse. Is Sanji going to become a neo-feminist next?
That would be Whole Cake Island from Pudding's point of view
Brook gon hate panties
Fun fact: Sanji always was a femminist
Right, it would be so ironic if Sanji became a Neo-Feminist, because Sanji actually cares about women.
@@Bandopede Yeah, part of why I said NEO-"feminist"
Luffy in this video: “Drug addiction is wrong.”
Zoro in Fishman Island is Hilarious: “Racism is bad.”
This is why I watch Mugi Goof
The look on Law's face when he finally realizes what he just signed up for will never get old😂
Your commentary when talking about the way he inhales the poison gas then exhales it by his ear is Oda levels of foreshadowing 🤣
Punk Hazard really was hilarious. So hilarious in fact you can completely omit Monet, Kin'emon, and Momonosuke just as you did haha.
I do feel increasingly bad for Law. He has stuff to do and that damned crackhead keeps showing up
I actually thought Caesar was a pretty good character, he was a bad guy of course but his whole premise always being under Vegapunk was interesting to me. Also hes just goofy as hell and I love his laugh and his theme song
I really wanna see a flashback with that group of scientists
I love the fact he says “is your devil fruit just that you can’t take anything seriously” when we find out that is exactly correct
I assume Wano is going to be from Kaido’s point of view. And it’s all going to be everyone else telling him how insane everything will be if he does not do anything and Kaido is just ‘oh god, finally. FUN!’
It would be good from Queen's point of view too
bro kaido had a great time unti luffy started jumping rope
@@silverhetch3383 Dude was having fun even then.
Main point of views it should be of is, orochi, king, queen and kaido for their respective fights and other funny moments likes queens sing maybe and I feel like it’s need for king to bring up the fact zoros gets a power up after finding out he’s black
Kaidos POV would be great, but I kinda also want Orochi or maybe Queen lol
Law's "what" after Smoker asks if there is any crack head inside is sending me so bad I can't-
Edit : Ceasar's "huh" too omg
Luffy: Addiction is a serious problem
Smoker: Wait, but you-
Luffy: I chose my crack, I didn't get tricked into it, I did the research, and chose this path. Ceasar is tricking those kids into this life, and that's not right
Absolutely everyone in existence: YOU RESEARCHED SOMETHING!?!
I mean if there's anyone that can do crack without being addicted to it, it'd be Luffy.
Luffy: *pulls ot his phd on thw benefits of crack
Chopper is his crack supplier
@@fluffypinkpandaschopper would make non-addictive crack.
The bes thing about Luffy charging in with Frankie and Robin is that Robin is literally the smartest person among the strawhats and she decided to not only condone his actions, but even join in on the action
Robin is an enabler, knows she's an enabler, and strives to be a better enabler because the first two times she saw Luffy crash out he took down pillars of the WG's power structure
At this point Robin knows it's in everyone's best interests to let Luffy do his thing. So she's just joining in for fun
as much as i love ussops plant magic he does actually grow the plant seeds for the special attacks there was a time really early on the going merry where he set up his garden and really started his experimentation
But he didn't acquire the special seeds until the timeskip, whereafter they are hardly on the boat.
@@Pangora2 FWIW, he came back from 2 years on HyperviolentVeggieTales island, if he didn’t compact as many as he felt he needed before leaving, he’d be a fool.
He gives luffy's crack to the plants
The "you're not gonna betray me" bit is one of my favorite panels in all of one piece
"That Damm Strawhat"
-smoker, Law, now Robb Lucci
"Glad yu put hem to sleep Usopp cuz I was bout to put them to sleep too. One. By. One."
Luffy is a menace 😂😂
Many early villain is too goofy/hilarious.
Buggy literally a clown, Kuro planned for long time to be ass whopped by rubber man, Don Krieg he just plain dumb, and a racist shark.
Smoker is without a doubt one of my favorite characters in one piece. He puts himself forward as a by the books buy but in reality he just wants to do good by people. Making him a top notch complicated character.
Man luffy just straight up asking, 'hey you gonna betray me'?
Funny as hell, that crackboy just livin his highest life!
The best part is that's not even an exaggeration, that's exactly what happened in canon
The start of laws character arc of him getting closer and closer to full blown cardiac arrest with each passing interaction with the strawhats
12:19 In the words of Leonard Snart:
"Make the plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to fail.... throw away the plan."
the part where these are getting longer and more frame by frame is just, so good. love ya goofy. I think if Oda saw these he would be very pleased.
Aaaaahhhhh, yes the Law Regrets his life Arc starts here. 😂😂😂😂
“Is your devil fruit that you can’t take anything seriously” gear 5 prediction activated
The buildup to how much you absolutely hate Caesar's laugh and then hearing you speak it so deadpan was downright hilarious
I award you 50 gum gums
Seriously, pop greens are more useful but it doesn’t feel like it’s taking advantage of Usopp’s wit and creativity
“You’re a grown ass man, dressed as a clown, with no parents in sight! Anything you’re doing is weird.”
To be fair, when Luffy's friends are in danger, he'll beat up gods for them.
And of course "friends" also includes "people who fed him once."
Man Law's reaction when he realized just how much of a crack head the whole mugiwara crew is and the look that says "wtf have I gotten myself into" while chopper was tied to his head that is GOLD
I’m just gonna make a small correction - Luffy DID question law at 10:46, but only about the emperor in question - as he didn’t want to fight shanks until last, because shanks has the best crack in all the seas.
"drugs are momentary, the shirorororo is eternal"
a wise man in the youtube comments
If you take enough drugs at once, it'll last for the rest of your life. 😂
@@aleisterlavey9716 took me a second to understand that one LMAO
As someone who only started watching One Piece about 3 years ago, it always surprises me how long some of these story lines were going on for. The fact that a decade passed between Smoker appearances is crazy for someone who binge watched it.
goofy been feeding us nonstop bangers all summer
This is probably the closest we have to a decent one piece Abridged series that comes close to TFS in terms of humor
If there are some good ones that already exist, I haven't encountered them so far but I might check them out
"Because of how OP Law's devil fruit is" 💀
“Remember I can do that anytime so watch your mouth” Law then takes shit from everyone for the rest of time.
cesar clown is the type of guy to drive a “Free Candy” van
god that is just the perfect summary of Law's VERY FAST descent into "oh god what have I signed up for & what life decisions led to this?"
Your editing skills have been improving. Nice episode!
Also the "Nick-at-Night Slime Creature" line just had me giggling with nostalgia.
Franky did that thing where he disappears for the arc to secure the Sunny from the poison stoner gas and held their exit in the giant robot
Law thinks he's in a drama
Unbeknownst to him, the MC ate the laughter fruit
22:30 i love how you randomly go into the deeper themes for like 2 sentences before going back to goofy
Honestly the best breakdown of a show ever let alone a long ass series
The irony of Luffy and Zoro complaining about addiction and racism is top notch.
11:48 Sir what do you think an aliance is?
Law: I think-
Usopp: WRONG!
"Is your power that you just can't take anything seriously?"
Gear five: "Uh... yeah, that was actually the plan"
The goddamn mouthflaps... Geesch... hats off sir, that is so much work. I died at "You've got a warrant?"
15:07 "Is your devil fruit power actually that you can't take anything seriously?"
Yes actually
Love the series! It helps break the ice for new fans all the time with your hilarious commentary!
"Is your devil fruit power that you can't take anything seriously?"
Yes
“Is your devil fruit power actually that you just can’t take anything seriously “
*several hundred chapters later* 😅
I love how Law used the body swap technique once, and never again.
"What's up little kid you want sum crack?" Man Im dead 💀
"Biology and physics be damned, I guess, like, is your devil fruit power actually that you just can't take anything seriously?"
Yes. Actually, literally, yes.
