Just so you know,the gepard light cone is actually pretty good! You can use it on pretty much every preservation unit optimally and it’s even better on well… gepard
the extra effect hit rate is so fuckin broken when you already unlocked his passive, basically you freeze enemy everytime, god i wish i had gepard
It’s actually even better on MC as it benefits from the character taking hits and Gepard himself doesn’t draw aggro.
Every preservation character has a higher chance of being hit than average, while the opposite is true for hunt.
M7 freezing everyone with this lc as well

Seeing you want Gepard so much makes me so glad he came home in the departure banner. When you do eventually get him you are going to love how well he shields the entire team. But DAMN e1 Welt is so freaking good!!!!

its so weird not knowing who is the qiqi in a game by being so early, it makes all 5stars feel so exciting

As a fellow E1 Welt enjoyer, I must say E1 Welt is awesome. Also, Gepard's lightcone is the best lightcone currently for any character that uses DEF. Even if Gepard takes his sweet time coming home, you'll find someone good to put it on! Your lightcone luck is insanely good.
Although Sampo is 4*, his gameplay and personality is 5*. Can't wait to get both him and Tingyun dor myself. 😊

I started playing for Jing Yuan and now I pray for Sampo E6 lmao! I love that man, he's the best 4* ever. Also in Tagalog his name sounds like the number 10, so he's literally a 10/10 [chefs kiss]
Also, one of the indicator of 5* Star pull is the song have descending note
(like the reverse note of 4* song)

Personally, I never spend on standard banners. It'll always be there, and I'd rather use Express Supply Pass over time and the anniversary 'one-time bonus' Top-ups (great Christmas ask) on E0 banner characters. It'll take a year or two, but the standard characters will all come home with 50/50 losses and free standard passes.
Additionally:
• Being a patient dolphin costs way less than whaling to 'get off to a good start', and I'll still get every character eventually.
• 50/50 pity remains exciting because I may still get a new character, and lossing 50/50 is less disappointing when I do.
• Without many 5-stars or S-tiers to rely on in the early game, I'm forced to git good with who I have at first. I learn the ins and outs of the game better, and it's much more fulfilling gameplay-wise.
• I don't have to worry about who to prioritize while leveling up in early game, and I'll actually have fond memories of the low-tier trash when I get to late game.
My Genshin experience has been much improved by following this strategy, especially compared to people I know who whaled early on. I don't believe in F2P, mostly on a moral basis. If it makes my life better, and I play most days, then 5 bucks a month seems reasonable to give back. As long as they keep renewing the double bonus on the top-ups each year, I'll keep asking for them for Christmas.
Just don't whale, especially early on, and particularly not on standard banner. It's not necessary for a rewarding gameplay experience, and it wastes money compared to being patient. That said, Bran is a content creator, and early whaling makes for amusing content. 😂
might wanna start saving because Tingyun March 7th and Sushang will be on ̶C̶y̶n̶o̶ Jing Yuan banner, really good units!

I ended up with Welt E2. Got him twice on the Standard banner and then lost 50/50 to him on the Seele banner. I'm not all that upset because his Eidolons are actually really good. I'm saving the rest of my jades for the next banner because I'm hoping Tingyun will be one of the rate-ups since she's the only 4-star I don't have yet.
Tingyun will be on the Jing Yuan banner!

@@panifowl59 That's how it is sometimes unfortunately. ;~; I'm happy with my Welt, but I sometimes wish one of those eidolons would have been Himeko instead. But I'm fairly close to soft pity for 5-stars on the standard banner again. So, keeping my fingers crossed. A 5-star light cone would be nice too.
Have to add a little update. I wasn't going to do anymore pulls, but since I was 1 away from maxing out Pela, I decided to do several more single pulls until my next 4-star to see what I could get. I was at 37 pity since my last 5-star. On my 5th single pull, I ended up getting Seele, which I definitely wasn't expecting. So, to celebrate, I did one more single pull and got the final eidolon I needed for Pela! I'm really happy with the results and I still have around 4k jades left to save for the next banner and hopefully get Tingyun.

The fact that most of us know whats what in the game , (energy, pulls, etc) It feels very straightforward not blundering around making "new player" mistakes. ( I made the mistake of converting primos into resin , and proceeding to trace down all the leylines in Mondstadt in 1.0 era, thinking it was part of a quest)
Leylines early game is valid and recommended for easy adventure rank exp and levelling up mats. And we all know artifacts aren’t touched til we 45
Gepard was my very first 5 star. Then Mr. Welt came twice! Once on the standard banner, and once on Seele's bamner unfortunately. But I am really happy with the characters I got. It's just so much of a hassle building even 1 character, eapecially if you have work and a life in general.
I feel your pain though. My 5 star from beginner banner, was clara. Then i went all in on standard to get selector for bronya, on the way to 300 i pulled 4 more clara and 2 gepard lightcones lmao.
Unfortunately, I can relate. I've gotten three 5* in this game so far and It's just been Bronya every time 😭 I literally just want Yanqing

I was hoping for Welt or Geopard on the departure banner but kept my expectations to a minimum because I’m rarely lucky with pulls.
Got welt and he’s one of my favorites so far. Both an amazing unit and character
Fun fact: when getting a 5 star character not only does the ticket change to rainbow but the music is way more hype!
I got Yanqing from the Departure banner, Seele from pity on her banner, and Gepard from the Standardt. Gepard is great but I really wanted Clara and Bronya. Welt would've been great too since he's the only character that uses imaginary element right now.
If you haven't tried it yet--Yanqing+Gepard are an amazing combo. Gepard covers Yanqing's weakness and the two of them have a good chance of keeping most enemies frozen the majority of the time.
I really like the pulls ive had so far! Only sad part is no Tingyun yet. I got Welt from departure, Bronya as a loss to Seele (barely a loss) and then Seele 20 pulls later. Got Clara on pity for Standard next. Really hoping for either a Bronya Eidelon or Bailu next!

I got two 5 stars in 20 pulls on the standard… both light cones lol Bailu is still my only 5star character. Update: third 5 star, weapon again. I’m cursed. Apparently no pity system for characters vs lightcones

Lil late to the party but I got e1 Bailu and her light cone for my first 3 5* 🥲 (departure, lost 50/50 on event, and lightcone on standard) I did want her but I’d rather had 2 other 5* as well 😅
Welt C2 is actually great one, it means you will get 3 additional energy every single HIT when enemy got slowed. it is possible to recharge ult every 3 skills

Dang man, i got Himeko as my first 5 star then got a bronya. After using a bunch of standard passes i got another five star character! It was another Bronya......lol she is still good. But i guess ill just have to wait on getting the other characters.

i didn't have sampo for a while and i still don't have tingyun (or sushang). luckily you'll probably get tingyun if you pull for jing yuan. i wish you a gepard or bronya next time :)
feel bad for ya not getting all the 5 star ya want but yeh even if the limited banner would give me seele again i would always pull on event banner for the character 5 stars only especially given the fact the game promotes you getting the 5 star light cones through starcoins effectively at least the pity from standard means that when you hit 300 you will at least get the 5 star of your choice bran so its not that bad of a thing^^ good luck on your next pulls^^

It sucks being f2p. 2 years of Genshin and now hsr and the struggle because of the pay walls and time gates feels awful. Im a single father paying for online schooling though so it is what it is. Just wish good games like these could come out and not be gacha.

When you pulled on the seele banner, at pity, you said "anything but a lightcone", but thats literally impossible. Pity on limited banners, is only characters. No lightcones.

Yeah Sampo is really good and carry me specially with his light cone. Monster together with Welt both have slowing enemy to delay them.

I got three standard characters already and all three are Yanqings. So now I have E2 Yanqing and no other standard 5* character. I'm a Yanqing main by choice AND by the will of the world.

The Arlan one happened to me but with Yanqing 💀 I got him and his lightcone with one 10 pull
Welt e1 isn't really much, basic atks are useless even on the best of dps, dealing 50% of the multi is not much, its a decent buff on skill atk which is what you want to use on welt if he is your main carry of the team comp and not debuffer which he can otherwise be, e2 however is beyond busted, his talent is "when I hit slowed enemy do this" his skill hits 3 times (or 4 on eidolon 6) each one of those gives +3 energy for 9 total (or 12 at max eidolon) and if you kill an enemy you get another 10 back, and since you used skill another 30, add bronya or tingyun (or both) and you can loop his ult every turn.
If I got a nickel every time i saw someone get Welt and then win their 50/50, I would have two nickels. Which isn’t very much but it’s weird that it happened twice.

@@VDevon well one is from beginner banner so that’s 50, I lost 75/25 on weapon banner and had to go to 76 both times, got geopard very early after bronya, and then got Seele around soft pity. But I’ve also almost cleared all of forgotten hall and WL6, found every chest, done every mission, etc.
@@GhostlyGenshinGuides same i lost in seele banner to yanqing had to spend 130 pulls, bailu in standar banner 80 and bronya in starter banner, i have 4 only but i think its fine since i like them all xD, currently done all quest, chest and SU aswell, just forgotten hall 15 left its so hard for now..

Got Clara in the Novice Banner she is cute, but I love my Trailblazer with her Batter, so the poor girl is benched🙈. I wait for Lady Kafka ❤ so I won't wish on any Event Banner. On the Standart Banner I got Bailu, Yangqing and Lightcone "But the Battle isnt Over", within 40 or 50 pulls 😅. Bailu will be part off my second Team with Kafka and the Lightcone is used by Asta at the moment. Yangqing is benched with Clara. Bailu will be part of the second Team because I love Miss Natasha ❤ so much and don't want to replace her so Asta and March supporting my Galactic Batter ❤. If I get another Support, Asta will be part of Kafka and Sampo Team. If I don't get another Support, my Galaxy Batter will have Little Miss Pela in her Team for debuffing enemies. When I ever reach 300 Pulls on Standart I want Mr. Welt Yang so we can be Ms. and Mr. Ying and Yang ❤

just making sure you know that pity is actually 90 summons, and soft pity is 75. Same as the odds in genshin.

Yes there is but thats on another standard banner (theee standard banner). The discount beginner banner will disappear after you do 50 pulls. And the discount banner depends on your luck.
Only after you do 300 pulls on a standard banner you are allowed to choose your guaranteed 5* character.

I wanted yanqing on departure and got him but on standard wanted welt and got his lightcone so we kinda was the same. But oh well at least it came early and I can use it on shampoo
