Óglach Joe McDonnell Commemoration 2013

1981 IRA Hunger Striker Óglach Joe McDonnell is remembered by his family, friends and former comrades at a wreath laying ceremony at the Rodaí Mac Corlaí society clubrooms grounds in West Belfast. The annual event is organised by the Lenadoon Commemoration Committee as part of a weekend of events. The main speaker at this years commemoration was Brendan 'Bik' McFarlane who was OC' of the Irish Republican POWs during the 1981 hunger strike.
