I very much enjoy watching your "Life Lately" vlogs. I hope you continue to film them! Your town looks charming, as does your home. That kitchen!!!! ❤️ I have the Clarins setting spray in the pink floral bottle and I love it. Recently I purchased the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray in the Sephora sale, and after trying it, I'd say it's no comparison to the Clarins. The Clarins smells so much nicer too. I hope Clarins will continue to do limited edition bottles, as I find them so beautiful. I'll probably keep the bottle when I use up all the spray : ). 🌸 🌺
the limited edition scents are so fun aren't they? it's a nice way to keep things fresh i feel like i am trying something new but it's the same formula i know and love (although I do love the original scent too). i think they will keep it up, they've been doing this for a couple of years now. thanks for your input on the Charlotte Tilbury spray!

@@rebeccaalves4796 lol i got married in NY maybe that's why? the Clarins is not for oil control, it's not like the Urban Decay All Nighter. it's more for helping all my makeup melt together on the skin and to take away the powdery look.

It can be so tough to push through those ‘off’ phases but I’m glad you did, Sandra, because I love your vlogs. Your vlogs are a treat to watch and I especially love when you talk about food/ recipes. Your outfits are a good source of inspiration and those Chanel slingbacks are so nice, how cool that you found them preloved. Always love your vlogs!! Tbh, TH-cam hasn't been occupying as much of my attention these days, but I still always make time for your videos - your vlogs are my favourite comfort viewing and your beauty videos are always SO thoughtful and helpful.
I have been really into fragrance lately, and recently bought the Maison Margiela When The Rain Stops and Byredo Blanche, both of which I love. I also did a huge skincare stock up because everything was 25% off on Cult Beauty! And my new NARS Yachiyo brush arrived today, which I can't wait to start using - thank you for your helpful advice on instagram! :) I am trying to avoid buying too much makeup at the minute as I know new Lisa Eldridge products are imminent and those will be impossible to resist, but that means I have been enjoying playing with my existing collection and rediscovering my love for things I haven't used in a while. I just picked up my Armani Neo Nude base again and I'm using that loads right now, with warmer weather here in the UK (sorry!), and going for bright, fresh lips and blushes as well.

Thanks for reviewing the new clarins lip oils! I was curious about the new reformulation but glad to hear it’s more moisturizing! Might have to pick one up now.
They are really growing on me and I’ve been reaching for them daily. The shine isn’t as dramatic as the old formula (the old formula was thicker) but this thinner formula feels very nourishing and I am liking it better to reapply throughout the day 👌🏼
Happy Easter! I really enjoy these vlogs where you show us your normal day. I'm still waiting for my Sephora order to come. I bought the NARS tinted moisturizer for the first time because I'm bored with the Laura Mercier I've used for eons. I got a sample of the NARS reflecting foundation and I'm on the fence about it. I felt it was a bit dry on this older face but I'm trying different skin preps but I don't want to work so hard to make it work. I replenished the Kosas brow gel and I bought the new Ole Henrikson peptide moisturizer which feels really nice. I'm so tempted to buy the Dior lippie but I'm being a good girl and holding off. When you showed the recipe book I saw Aquapaba crema and thought, what the heck is that. I am not a chef that's for sure. Your idea about condensing the coffee machines sounds like a good one.
I hope you love the NARS tinted moisturizer! I have loved it for years - it’s just a great all around everyday base product. I’ve never made anything with aquafaba either (it’s the water from a chickpea can that can be a good alternative to egg whites) I usually just replace/mix and match things from different recipes with stuff I have on hand 😆
@@ttsandra Would never have guessed it was chickpea juice. UPS lost my Sephora order which I placed on the 1st and they did an investigation, so now it's arriving tomorrow 3 weeks late. Ughhhh!

Hi Sandra! Interested to hear what coffee machine you get next! We have the matte black Nes Virtuo Plus and it’s quiet/ no issues. But still own the water kettle. Love Gia B slides and looking forward to summer to bust them out again. Currently breaking in new CC Gate No.5’s in white tweed and they’re the most exciting thing about my spring wardrobe atm. 🤍

Spring feels like it’s taking a long time to arrive here in Toronto too. I’m at the point where I just NEED it to warm up.
I have a Jura espresso machine and would highly recommend the brand. It’s an investment, but makes great espresso and coffee drinks.
COME ON SPRING! it just snowed yesterday but I’m hoping it’s the last straw. I am leaning towards buying a Jura machine so thank you for sharing your input. I’ve been watching reviews all weekend 🤣

ah you know what I keep calling it Bobbi Brown because Bobbi Brown is the founder of the brand but the brand is called JONES ROAD haha and the shade is Golden Peach :) it's a pretty new brand so it is definitely still available! the makeup i had on in that part of the video was Makeup Forever HD Skin foundation mixed with a little bit of Auric Glow Lust. on my cheeks it was Pat McGrath Fleurtatious blush!

it is confusing! with Nespresso the Vertuo machines make both coffee AND espresso where the Original machines make just espresso, but they use different capsules. and for just espresso i find that the Original capsules taste so much better than the espresso varieties they sell for the Vertuo 😆 hence me hanging on to my old machine all these years
Another great Life Lately! I’m so interested in the Westman Atelier brow pencil. Does it have a thick or thin tip? Hopefully it will have more product than the Hourglass pencils! Those are great but they only last about a month for me.
it has a thicker tip, similar to the original hourglass arch pencil not the arch micro pencil
my family moves a lot so we try not to buy things if possible. we recently invested in an eureka silenzio coffee grinder and it was one of the best kitchen purchases. the smell of freshly ground coffee in the morning is so enjoyable. plus you can make an amazing cup of cafe au lait with an aeropress or a moka pot.
freshly ground coffee is one of my favorite smells in the world (right alongside freshly baked bread haha)
Thank you for mentioning Gia Pernil shoes. I was wracking my brain trying to remember this brand which I had seen at Neiman's last summer. Flat sandals have been my summer gotos but now I've developed plantar fascitious. My podiatrist has informed me that I should now only wear them out to dinner when I won't be walking so I've been searching shoes that are fashionable but supportive. Before seeing this video, I picked up a pair of Vince flip flop styles on sale that have a similar but not as cool vibe. I also ordered Castaner low wedge espadrilles. 🤞I find something that lets me walk painfree.

Loved the vlog. You aren’t “too old” to vlog, but I get the feeling. Hope you continue to film them. I have to say I had a little laugh when you were driving and it looked like the road was under construction - I live in the Midwest and the joke about only 2 seasons - winter and road construction came to mind. I loved the outfits-especially the grey sweater and grey jeans and the last one (the green sweater is beautiful). Is the scent on the new Dior lipstick overpowering? The color is pretty and I am tempted - but not sure about the scent. Thanks.
the scent of the Dior is very very soft and not overpowering at all! I was very concerned about the scent too but it's really subtle and pleasant. also, i was thinking the exact same thing about the construction in the midwest meme as I was driving LOL

We have a Jura coffee machine. It’s stupidly expensive but I adore it. Yes, coffee is more than a drink, it’s a ritual.

LOL Gwyneth is a polarizing figure for sure and while I do not subscribe to the vaginal jade eggs, I do enjoy her cookbooks. every time we make a recipe from one of her books and it turns out delicious, my husband and i say "thank you Gwyneth" after we're finished eating 😆
