The media’s narrative has been to point out how much Trump lied during the debate in order to take the attention off of Biden who was barely coherent at times. They fail to point out that Biden also lied and exaggerated his way through the debate.

In 2020 I voted Biden hoping Trump would go away and we would have 2 new candidates 2024. The fact that it is these two again is just unbelievable. The American people deserve so much better than these clowns.
This wasn't about who won or lost the debate, it was about Biden's rapid cognitive decline on full display for all of American and the rest of the world to see firsthand. That's a huge problem for us and the future that awaits us.

In the United States and everywhere, many people, older even. See the actors, the artists, the musicians, the academics, the entrepreneurs, the monarchs, the CEOs of media companies, the sportscasters, the pundits - the lawmakers and judges and justices. Not to speak about the millions of people who have small businesses or trades or are artisans, who never retire.
Age alone is not a reason to forcibly retire someone from his profession. Being an honorable person should be something to have into account. One of these men has a Wikipedia article titled "False and misleading statements by..." The other one has not. See the difference?

Biden might still be able to do the things you mention, but with his rate of decline, someone else needs to fulfill the most important obligation in this country. BTW, Trump is not the answer either.
I don't personally know any adults who are still working past 80. I work with some volunteers in their 60s and 70s. The question of the moment isn't his age, however, it's his dementia. If he were of sound mind, he should be able to perform his duties well into his nineties, and perhaps beyond.

Sun downing is what people who have Alzheimer’s experience during the latter part of the day. Their dementia becomes more acute and behavioral issues develop

It is kind of you to take care of your family. A lot of elderly are left behind by their family.
Anyway, for about 40 hours a week, for a year, I basically lived in an assisted living facility surrounded by a lot of elderly and spending 6-8 hours interacting with the elderly. You also have some experience with the elderly compared to the general population.
Based on my limited experience, I don't think Biden is in a terribly decrepit shape, but I do think he's on the precipice of being unable to run this country due to age-related decline. He's not completely out of his mind with dementia, as I'm pretty sure you agree with too, but he's also only halfway introspective and self-aware and can't seem to think quickly on his feet unless he's reading from a script, during his good hours from 10:00 to 4:00, which creates a weakness in his ability to do his job. I guess Democrats got to make up their mind about what is an acceptable level of reduction in cognitive ability for presidential consideration. I feel like in his condition, he is not completely or even halfway acting as president, which hands the reins over to others, maybe anonymous, politicians.

By the way, he is already declaring himself the winner for this November election because he said unless the election is fair he is not going to accept the results. Another word, the ONLY way for the election to be fair and square is for him to be declared the winner, anything else is not acceptable.

Joe was confused/angry because CNN let Trump lie the whole 1 1/2 hours. They never fact checked Trump and Trump is a known liar. I'd be upset too if I had to be on stage with stinky and desperate to get some fresh air. Never saw frightened and I watched the whole thing.
