- Many people have strong opinions on our decision to stay. We should love and support not shame and hate. We are as prepared as can be watching the weather reports. We are hoping and praying everyone that is affected stay safe and I promise we'll be helping the victims when all of this is over! Until then just hang in there and have hope!

If you read the description at the top of this box, I talk about hope. Let me tell you about one time I hoped I would pass this chemistry exam after staying up all night playing video games. It was in the 10th grade on a Sunday night. I had just gotten Xbox 360 and all my friends were online. I knew I shouldn't have logged on but it was literally all my friends and I had to play at least play one game. Well before I knew it, it was 4 AM and we were still playing. I thought to myself, just finish this and I'll pull an all nighter studying. Thats when I heard the stomping and rumbling which I thought was from the game but it was outside my bedroom door. I was hoping it wasn't my mom. It was my mom. She came busting through the door and was not happy with what she was seeing. She slapped me so hard, my face landed on my chemistry book and my Xbox reset itself, no game data saved. I spent the rest of the night studying and hoping I would pass this test. Well the next morning I took the test. With belief, hope and what I remembered from class, I passed with a B minus. Luck was on my side. When I brought the test home for my mom to see she smacked me again. I could've gotten an A if I didn't play video games all night. I cried. My test cried. My Xbox cried with me as well. Apparently when my Xbox shut off, it kicked all my friends out of the game which erased all the progress we made in our game. I don't have friends anymore but I did earn better grades from that night on.

It disgusts me how many negative some of the comments have been in your recent vlogs especially during this time of disaster. From people complaining about you not taking the hurricane seriously to complaining that you are being selfish for taking water ? You have every right to the supplies you need and have as much water as you need to survive. They are NOT being selfish. They have two children, a lot of family are going to be over and they NEED to take all the precautions possible to be safe during this time like come on people spread love during this scary time.

As a psychology major, the urge to squeeze something cute (children and animals) is due to the extreme emotion one feels when confronted with cuteness. We can't contain it which is what triggers the urge to squeeze 😁.. Be safe guys! Love you! ❤

It's a good idea to keep everything clean and laundry done because once the power goes out your pretty much screwed. I'm speaking from 5 experiences of cat 3 and 4 hurricanes. Your decision to stay is not a bad idea because when you leave it takes forever to get back because of all the trees down and debris everywhere..I wish you guys the best...from South Alabama

Hey kkandbabyj, my name is Arlene and I live in Corpus Christi Texas where Harvey was suppose to hit directly. I think it's so sweet y'all want to go help out in Houston but please just remember our small towns of Rockport and Aransas Pass. They were completely destroyed since the eye of the storm hit them. It's sad to see the media completely forget about us and our residents who have no homes to return to and also have no funding/help since we are not a big city such as Houston. Stay safe! Best wishes!
Federal funding is and will be spread through all the damaged areas, that is a FACT, you obviously won't get the same amount as Houston because it is all done on scale and it takes time, a lot of time but please don't make out like there will be no fund for the smaller towns and areas hit, because that is just ignorance and impatience.
The eye is the calmest part of a storm so how would that work?
Taylor Begg directly around the eye is horrible. The hurricane moves, so the eye obviously won't be in that same place forever. Once it begins to move to other areas, the whole storm would go directly over their area.

My brother lives in Fort Myers and we are all from West Palm Beach. Being native Floridians we have been through a lot of hurricanes but this one is definitely a scary one. It's so hard to be away from all of my family right now bc we are in NC. Been thinking of Fl constantly.
I have some family that lives in Florida, the rest live in Alabama and i live in North Carolina.. it looks like Irma is going to hit florida pretty hard then go up to georgia and alabama. Hope you're family is safe! 🙏🏼

When my town had a flood we put bags filled with sand in front of our doors and garages etc and it worked sooo well

Khoa and Keren, I just wanted to say that y'all are amazing and so kind for wanting to help everyone by the hurricane. I live north of y'all, ( north of Orlando) and I will be hit by the hurricane. I am staying and so is my family. Our house was specially built to not flood and survive natural disasters ( like hurricanes) and we think we will be fine. We probably do need to stack up on more water and maybe gas, but we couldn't find any near us. Everyone stay safe!
I am staying too and am in Clermont. Evacuating unnecessarily makes it that much difficult for those that do need to leave.

Not if they only empty it by half. I am hoping they will do that. I have also noticed the pool runoff going towards the patio and door, as well. Heavy rains, overflowing pool that runs off toward the door, high winds... That sounds like a potential house flooding situation. Hopefully they will consider it. I sure am not gonna wish death on them, if not! Gah, people are so mean!!!

I love how keren AND khoa go to their kids appointments together! Normally one parent always goes,but I feel it's so important both go when possible. Also,they seem to only take the baby who has the appointment,and they leave the other at home. Which is good because they have that special time with them ❤️☺️

I read a good way to keep precious photos or momentos or paperwork safe during the hurricane is to put them in ur dishwasher as it is water proof and fixed into the units so less likely to go anywhere, hope this helps someone. Stay safe everyone xx

No. vaccuum seal, put in tote bins that are waterproof and put the totes as high up as you can.

I stayed as well during the hurricane. You guys were definitely hit harder than my family. I am east coast below Jacksonville. Even though this was a large size of a hurricane it weakened very fast because it took a lot of energy to keep going so once it hit land it weakened fast. Glad you guys are safe. I'm just now getting power back to catch up on videos.
I would recommend that you maybe take apart your play ground if you have time and you could store it in that little outside cellar that you have! Just so it doesn't get destroyed❤️ Praying for you guys❤️

2. You can make sand bags out of trash bags
3. Put duct tape in an x on your windows. I think it slows vibrations or something on the Windows so there's less of a chance of breaking

We went through a Cyclone (Australian Hurricane) 6 months ago that was as bad as Irma will be and we just lost power for two days! if you’re prepared and smart about staying in the house when it hits you’ll be more than okay! I am so worried for you guys! I really hope if things happen to get to bad you guys get out of there and all the other families that are in the direct path! i live in Minnesota and we get tornadoes and in the winter we get pretty bad blizzards and negative degree weather. I am praying for your whole family and family members!
