"I Can't Self-Care My Way Out Of This!" Workshop

This workshop, hosted by BBF Early Childhood Regional Councils, aims to move beyond self-care to address workplace trauma exposure at the organizational level in the early childhood system. Chronic stress & secondary trauma exposure in the workplace are big problems that can lead to burnout, low morale, poor health, staff turnover, and diminished outcomes.
All too often organizations do not address chronic stress or only address it through the lens of self-care. In this presentation, Cassie Gillespie, LICSW will offer an alternate frame for thinking about chronic stress (and what we can do about it) in the workplace.
