- Warzone released its sequel... sort of. Warzone 2.0 is essentially a refresh for the battle royale, and in this video I go over the major changes and see if it's an overall improvement or not! So let's learn all about Warzone 2.0 in this episode of "For Noobs!"

I like how this is considered “2.0” meaning it’s more of an update or build off than sequel yet it did more changes then overwatch

@@fragr33f74 well technically it's cod, its built for a more casual audience unlike something like league, Dota 2, R6 and Overwatch. The only issue I have with the game is why it isn't an update
dude i played my first match of warzone like an hour ago and was confused by how the game works, and thought 'macro must have a guide for this' and was dissapointed when it wasnt there, then you release this within an hour. crazy coincidence lmao

Honestly I feel like this video was lackluster and kind of lazy, Macro refused to go over old things because he did then im a 3 year old, outdated video? And he also didn’t really go over thingd noobs might struggle with like strongholds, loadouts, how to play, the pace, etc.

the biggest con in warzone 2 is the looting system is so clunky and when killing someone you’ll have to position yourself perfectly to open their backpack or literally loot anything off them
And that perfect position might not even be facing the bag at all, it’s just weird
Is this like a PC type of problem cause I'm on controller and I'm not having any trouble with looting in Warzone 2.0

The one thing I hate is how spread out the map is. Early game there is only one or two teams and then late game is complete sweaty third party hell that’s just exhausting.

That's br, also that's why it's garbage you could be decked out of your mind 20kills on your squad and a random squad that just looted at the side of the map cleans you up from behind because they had a headglitch or smth.

I just realised if we blast a loud noise to the enemies in a way you can’t hear it, you deafen the enemy and now it’s harder for them to hear your footsteps allowing for better sneaking.
Me and my friend just constantly blasted base boosted barbie girl song and among us theme the entire match to instill fear in the enemy

personally i liked the flashy text of warzone 1.0 when you kill someone way more satisfying than the white text in 2.0

You forgot to mention the new "smart loot" feature in which you are more likely to find items in a location they would be at usually (so money in a gas station and weapons at a military camp.) This I would say is a net postivtie and gets rid of some rng and can help you get more used to an area. Oh ya and swimming. Net neutral as they can make the map cooler but fighting enemies in it and traversing it isn't fun.
Sadly this got kinda removed in beta it was super heavy on the system but now it’s a bit less.

Am I the only one that likes how getting on top of a car and leaning out of it is now a mechanic you can use.
I really liked it, I myself has done some pretty cool tricks with the new mechanics, Like once in Dmz when i was driving near the road with my friends we saw another squad With the Armored Atv Truck, And i decided to Climb on top of the roof and jump for it killed the Gunner and the Driver and my friends handle the other guy. I was surprised i didn't die, maybe the hitbox for the vehicle's only work on the front, side, and Back and not on top
I have never ridden in a car. For some reason I always get on top of the car my friends hate that I don't get in the car because I've been sniped many times but I think it's much more fun

Any Shooter Games which allows you to Swim underwater probably can and will allow you to shoot underwater, Just Saying

I like that the game is just 30 something gb instead of the gigantic 100 and something gb
Dmz might have its own grind if you want to get more insure slots, but overall it actually reduces the grind for other stuff
It seems like a mix of both traditional BR and WZ1 which is a huge W for me bc without randomness in BR it’s just boring to play continuously and I hope that they add ranks that’d be really good

I like the new movement as it means you have to use proper tactics rather than sweating.
My favourite change is that you can finally swim and not die when you wanna swim
Proximity chat has saved my life countless times, for example negotiating after getting out of the gulag and landing on a team. I really wish it would’ve came sooner than wz2
Proximity chat is just so immaculate. The interactions and shenanigans that come out of it is unlike anything else a BR can offer. Without it I probably wouldn’t be playing the game xD
Makes me wish for proxy chat in Apex and other BRs, but with racist douche bags it’ll never happen :(

Al Mazrah is such a pretty map. It's a big step up from Caldera.
The city reminds me of Vegas, like in some parts, I just recognize the buildings as like Resorts and Casinos.

Al Mazrah might not be a huge upgrade from Verdansk, but HOLY, it’s a huge upgrade from Caldera

The best part of Warzone 2.0 is that free bird is used in the advertisements.
I’ve always not really liked the warzone, but seeing the quality of life changes that center it towards a casual audience, makes me see hope in warzone
the slower movement speed makes it feel more tactical in my opinion

@@Mi_tala nah yeah thats true. maybe they could make it so that if you /chrouch/prone(not standing tho) in the same spot for two long the character will yawn and it will give a very obvious audio cue

@@Andrew-xo6hl in the first warzone if you had an Amor plate that was damaged but not completely broken. You would have to replace that armor plate completely no matter what.
They changed that in the vanguard lifetime of the game

My first thing I did was jump of a building thinking there was no fall damage😅

Let me explain the changes/things out into to DMZ:
New weapons case located on the map that you have to kill a juggernaut for, and extraction is crucial to getting the rewards stored in the case as your position will be revealed to everyone else.
New radiation zone similar to gas which will expand after 20:00 minutes pass and those who do not extract and exfil from the final extraction point will me MIA and essentially lose the game.
The radiation also has a chemist with the same health as the juggernaut who will kill you along the gas with the new m13b, in which killing him before the patch would’ve gave you his “Health Hazard” blueprint which is pro-tuned to be of the tank class, a true dominator.
Aside from that, there are strongholds with rood sheilders and other strong mercs, which can be opened from a one time key or a infinite use keycard, and clearing a stronghold will grant you access to a black site, where entering gives you 5:00 to defuse a bomb, guarded by the same people from strongholds.
There are now also denied areas, large areas taken from Al Mazrah and marked with little square, ping able icons. If you stay in a denied area for too long, there will be a new boss called the attack chopper, basically and over powered chopper gunner, in which when killed, grants you a supply drop visible to everyone on the map.
There are now safes around the map which are locatable around the map, and will be available on the tac map after doing a certain contract (I forgot), and drilling them will cause you to fight AI who are armored.
Similar to this, there are Sam sites which will shoot anything of the enemy in the air, such as supply ships and helicopters. They are like hardpoints, which stay around them for all time to keep them going, and they have limited ammo, so it’s best not to re-emerge your Sam turret and get killed from AI.
Destroying supply ships will grant a supply drop that lands in an unpredictable place, so be careful with where you shoot them down.
Lastly, there are contracts: hvt, cargo, marine cargo, secure radiative material, escort prisoner, bounty, and more.
Also, there some new mechanics and items, such as proximity chat which allows you to use the assimilation feature, and can make your team bigger. There is a revive pistol which allows you to revive from afar, the grieger counters to locate radioactive caches, and lastly, radiation blockers to temporarily block radioactive gas,and lasts 2 minutes, longer than a regular gas mask.
Those are all the new changes/things added to DMZ.
I almost forgot, car hijackings which for some reason has never been recorded.
I was decent in warzone but in 2.0 it’s hard for me
No slide canceling and ohter crazy stuff you have to do for killing enemy : positive
New car mechanichs changing tire refueling vehicles : positive
Map is colorfull : positive
Dmz is fun to play for casual players and it is fastest way to unlock new weapons : positive
New gulag : positive (sometimes if you have buddy in the same gulag(that mean if your teammate pops up on you screen) they will your teammate for 2v2)
New buy station : positive (because unlike original warzone where you have same thing on every buy station but in new one it different things and most expensive stuff can only bought once)
New poi(point of interest) : positive
Syncing your same account with call of duty modern warfare 2022 : postive
New vehicles : positive
And final thing is it going to be game changer : yes it will be

My favourite changes are the loadout and the movement changes the loadout because I don't die to some sweatlord gun that has a 1 second ttk and guns take skill to use and the movement change just makes casual player have a change against tryhards this warzone seems more of game directed to casual and not swear

So Marco I will state one thing I like about Warzone 2.0 is how u can't shoot when ur In the sky now becuz alot of hackers and tryhards would do that and make it difficult to land then the crazy movement I like how u can't do that like in warzone 1 becuz it makes it do hard and difficult to keep track of enemies like that considering it would give me a headache. The game is good i would say but the performance on lower end pcs is so bad that its almost unplayable
I honestly liked the new stuff added, like the 2v2 gulags, bigger backpack upgrades, and armor upgrades. It made the game stand out…..only for Activision to throw these changes right out the window and bring it back to normal, making just feel like a remastered Warzone 1 instead of a new, fully fledged game.

You forgot to talk about the "Underwater Combat" which I think is a pretty big change, also the driving and overall car mechanics are pretty interesting too! Anyway, loved the "sequel" joke

Personally I like warzone 2. I always hated the movement of original warzone. It just felt weird and didn’t flow well like apex. DMZ is also fun, but way too much ai, especially if you’re soloing.
I would have given it a 10/10 if it had had rebirth Island.

Im such a noob that I just found out if you find a gun, say like the M16 that requires 2 other guns to get to a certain level to unlock, within DMZ, it will unlock it in the BR mode. I find this really helpful tbh, because guns I want to use in BR will take forever to unlock by grinding guns that are already scarce to find.
I went ham with M16 in WZ1, and after the buff they just gave it in WZ2, I am excited to try it out in BR.
The TTK is too low in this game, the gulag is an annoying experience, the ring closing takes way too long. The fact that you can carry multiple self resses is just incredibly stupid.
The gunplay feels great in this game but most of the systems around it aren't well designed or balanced.
Tbh as a new player to Warzone I don't enjoy it much, there is no ranked match making or atleast I don't think so because I get put in a lobby full of sweats and people who are camping, I also can't learn any of the game mechanic because there is no proper tutorial and I'm not gonna learn how to snipe across the map just to play this one game...

dmz is NOT tarkov anyone going into it expecting it to be like beloved tarkov wont be dissapointed if you like extraction shooters but will if you think it plays similarly or like tarkov at all

One of my favorite things as a console apex player, is that we can move while in the backpack menu.
