Last scene broke my heart. That was always something I thought about throughout the show. Like I can’t even imagine the pain knowing that one day all of your friends would have passed leaving you alone.

Random thought: what if roles reverse and twilight passed and all her friends lived on? Not as bad as the former, but still. Yikes.
The one thing I find notable about the ending? Each of the Mortal five go in a specific order... Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, then Rarity... Which likely references their age and their bonds.
Applejack was the Oldest of the Mane Six, not only being the most mature, but also the most grounded. She would have accepted her end when it came, as it just means her time had come... Her only regret being that she had to leave her friends behind.
Fluttershy as far back as season one mentioned she was "A Year older than Pinkie Pie", so she went before Pinkie did. Like Applejack, her connection to nature meant she accepted her end as well.
Pinkie? She would have used the last of her time to set up one big party, so few would be sad when she finally goes...
Rainbow, meanwhile, likely passed due to a broken heart, as Fluttershy was her oldest friend next to Gilda, Pinkie Pie always tried to bring light to even the darkest of nights, and Applejack was her rival and Competition buddy, and for all of Rainbow's Ego, the attention she seeked out most, was from her friends, the ones who would _always_ cheer her on no matter what... And once the trio who understood her most were gone, Rainbow could not find that same drive anymore (You can see it on her face after Pinkie Pie passes on, she looks like she is not at all there, and is looking up at the ceiling). Had Rainbow's heart not given out, it was likely she would have outlasted Rarity, seeing that Rainbow Dash is the youngest of the Main Six.
And Rarity? Well, time simply caught up to her, and I suspect that Rarity _would_ have tried to live as long as possible, just so Twilight would not be alone... But in the end, Even Generousity can only do so much...
My heart just broke reading all of this, but it makes sense.

Especially the part where you explain Rainbow just makes too much sense, just look at her face when AJ and FS are gone. She looks absolutely crushed.

This animatic music vid is another absolute masterpiece guys i love it! as always both the vocals,drum and bass score and the artstyle for the animatic are all just fantastic and astounding everyone did such a phenomenal and spectacular job putting this work of musical art together! i especially loved the ending of the animatic it made me tear up a bit seeing the Mane 6 except Twilight age as time passed as Equestria entered it's next generation and era, that's some fabulous story telling right there, anyway this masterpiece was both a delight and a joy to watch and or listen to truly miraculous work guys major kudos to you all!!!👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥

I was hyped for this and Shallow Naivety but I never expected this to be so good. Totally dig the head cannon at its end that connects both generations. Not gonna lie I almost teared up. ;~; Seeing them go one by one and the others being in a location that reminded them of the friends who moved on to the afterlife until only Twilight remains hit so god damn hard.
If my expectations were 10/10 then you delivered an 11x²/10. Can't wait for what you got in store for us next. But for now, lemme put this song on repeat

There comes a moment when you find a song that resonates with you, and you can't stop listening to it. This is that song for me. I just realized that I've been listening to this song for 3 hours nonstop - and I've been listening to it over and over since it came out.

Jesus not my almost adult ass sobbing like a baby over animatic of friendship of 6 colorful ponies from a cartoon.It may be because it was a big part of my childhood and preeteens and me being in depressive episode,but still very good job.I needed to let it all out after so much time not crying.I didnt even no such song exsisted after all of this time.

This here is something beautiful it told a story I loved. There are several points where I found myself rewinding to look at the artwork to see what did I miss there. Not to mention the song itself is something I could probably put on repeat for several hours. Yet another amazing piece thank you for making this for us all.

Ahhh! This video turned out to be amazing. The song sounded super cool, like a Solidarity type of song! The art was super cute and captured a lot of emotion. And, well, the fact that the song focuses on what the Mane Six actually are just makes the song sound so special. And that ending. Jeez, I did not see that ending coming. IT’S SO SAD!!!
i am really wondering what the hell happened to twilight, to have caused everything that has happened in the new mlp generation. I really hope we get flash backs later on just like we did when the main 6 first discovered the tree of harmony.

I spent a hell of a lot of time thinking (literally!) about the Twilight's fate, and finally one of my favorite artists created a song and another made an animation of it. Astounding work, thank you and Ronin for this amazing piece of art.
gosh this sent me on such a trip trough memory lane and the ending broke my heart. Seeing all the characters grow up throughout the years and eventually live their lives to completion is so bittersweet. This is such a cool song and video!

Also, I have a song suggestion ( IDK if this is even a thing, but I decided to ask if you are open to suggestions from fans). I’ve always been interested in what would have happened of Starlight’s time-travel plan would have succeeded; then what would Equestria even be like? Maybe it could be like some parts Twilight sings about how difficult it is now and now she has to try and find her friends in this new world, and some parts could be about Starlight singing about how she was initially happy but after seeing the effect on the present, she starts to regret it. Again, idk if we can even do this and I sincerely apologise if it’s not allowed.

This community has done so much for me, and has helped me in the worst of times, and pulled me through to where I am today. For that, I thank you all for helping me. From now on, I'm going to start animating, artwork, and story writing to help give back. I see this song not as it ending, but a wake up call for my start.

What's ironic about this is that, I've been building a platformer fangame since 2012, and for a long time, the enemies in it---were elementals! I switched to having them be golems made of gems (for the most part) when someone said the elementals I'd drawn were kind of ugly.

Logical, though I imagine Twilight has/had some magic to capture their spirit or memories to keep with her into the future. She'd have Celestia, Luna, Cadence and her niece Flurry Heart for as long as they stick around. Beautifully done, appreciate the effort that went into it. Emotional too.
