This competition was just weeks before the Fukushima catastrophe, after which Yuzuru wanted to finish his skating career. I can't even imagine what he went through, but fortunately he didn't give up and continued his passion - skating. He was really adorable here at the 4CC, he looked like a cross between a kid and a young man. Look at his short legs! He was definitely smaller, and his movements were nowhere near as refined as later. But you can see the potential of a future Olympic champ!

Ok. It’s going to be the lamest question ever. I believe it’s the same costume as Sochi 2014 Gala ex. Is it the same outfit? As in, didn’t he outgrow the 2011 one ?
His body is just that small. In Prologue (2022), he wore his Romeo Juliet 2011-2012 costume, and in GIFT, he wore his Phantom Opera costume. Parisian Walkways costume also had been used several times

It's "White Legend" by Ikuko Kawai but that song is based on piece from ballet Swan Lake ("Enchanted Lake" composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky). ;)

It does look like the same costume. Chances are he either had it altered to fit in 2014 or had a new one made exactly the same.
