I'm not sure this will kill the game because I think that updates coming out less and less frequently will probably kill it first. Unless they start updating more often again.
they should probably make another story dlc or something instead of pushing out useless pointless dlc for a few bucks so they can stay alive.. none of those dlcs actually improve gameplay and the base defense one has 2 almost different dlc for the same purpose when someone actually does base def... why???? base support and base defense? arent they both the same thing? ugh.. starting to remind me of EA and bethesda FO76 scummy poor attempt at cash grab dlc that should be given free when ppl bought the full game
Agree with what you say. Haven't played much gz recently but I feel like there's an over reliance of paid packs. I don't mind supporting devs for new content, but weapon packs just encourage more weapon packs. We haven't gotten a story dlc in a very long time so it makes me question what it's all really building towards in the end. Other than milking what works I guess.
they just keep making pointless useless weapon packs or cosmetic skin packs that doesnt really help improve gameplay or change gameplay mechanics instead of focusing on fixing in game bugs or issues.. or another story dlc like alpine unrest... if not im staying away from GZ forever.. there are better games out there that rewards you for putting effort in story mode or pve. all they do is keep on pushing crappy weapon packs that doesnt improve qol at all.. feels like they are doing what bethesda is doing with FO76.. making their own in game weapon cosmetic skins and turns out to be crap than what players can make in the community.. it should be given free when players buy the game, not sold separate as some dumb crappy dlc for about 3usd just becos you need to monetize your game so your company wont go bankrupt...
