My heart kept puffing while was working one it. Is that the way it's suppose to be?

I am having trouble on the last two steps to close the heart. When I come around with my outside thread and pull the heart together that thread shows where it came across. Is it suppose to? Wish you would do a new one with lighter beads so your steps would better.
