You’re welcome. Thank you for the comment😀. You can reclaim the screen. I haven’t done it myself, so I don’t know the ends and outs. However, If you search here on youtube, you’ll find a video where it has been done.
There is a bit of a learning curve for the multi color as it works better with a photo shop type program. There are free open source programs capable of separating the colors into layers such as Gimp but I am sure you could manage.
I updated the firmware when I did this video to version 1.7.8 and the settings weren’t there for my D1. If there is a new version, I have not done an update. If you just got your laser, you probably got the D1 Pro. I have the original model that has been discontinued. I will check for an update. Thank you very much.
If you bought this through the kickstarter campaign as I did, it said right in the campaign that the screen printer was only compatible with the Xtool S1 and the D1Pro.
I bought it through the kickstarter campaign. I don’t recall seeing the word “only”. Additionally, I spoke with their customer service who told me it is compatible with my D1 laser. I also watched their live and they said it is compatible with ALL of their lasers and it is compatible with other lasers.
@latriciacreates for cutting the basic screens, but for the multi color even to this day if you go to the questions section of the kickstarter, the very first question starts out. Which models is the screen printer compatible with? The screen printer currently supports the vast majority of laser engravers on the market. Specifically, for xTool models, the 11.5*16in frame perfectly fits the models S1 and D1 Pro, for which we have also developed frame-fixing pieces. The frame fixing pieces only work for the S1, and the D1Pro each of which has its own piece.
@@latriciacreates yeeees I got one and was looking at reviews before I open it officially. But I use to screenprint on regular screens and that was the one thing that makes the print better.
@uco.7303, my design didn’t engrave well. My settings were off. Even with flooding, the print was still bad. When I get good settings, I’ll try again. Thanks for the tip. Let me know how you like it once you get it up and running.
It wasn't horrible though. You did good for the first time using it. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for the encouragement @CraftyLeoCooks 🌺🌺
❤Thank you for this beautiful video! Can we degrease the frame and put back an emulsion , if yes which one ? ❤

@@latriciacreates Merci beaucoup pour votre retour 🙂
You did really well.
Thank you @DIYTEE10. You’re too kind!
I have never done screen printing and this looks over my head, but I really want to see where you go with this!!!
@MakingwithMarilyn, I think this would be a piece of cake for you. Thanks for coming along with me.

Have you done a firmware update? I got my laser a few days ago and once the firmware updated, the settings appeared

@curtgroen2712, fair enough. It is more suitable for the D1 Pro and the S1.
What were the settings you got this to finally go through?
I used power 80 speed 68 and 200 lines per cm
@@latriciacreates thank you! Just got my first shirt successfully done last night thank you for making these videos!
@@Vet_dad0311 congratulations! That is awesome. 😀
Nice video.
Thank you!
you gotta flood the screen first. so move ink into your design with your squeegee and then print again but on your surface. :)
Thank you very much @uco.7303. I’m going to do that. ❤️
