Apologies for the issues with my mic in this episode! Alhamdulillah sams mic was perfect throughout. Rest assured, new cables have been ordered!
The part when the brother was saying he feels sad to leave saudi as he felt close to Allah there, reminded me of the time where a sahaba said to the the prophet of Allah that whrn he is infront of the prophet it is as if he csn see jannah and jahannam right infront of his eyes and when he is back to his family and the worldy life he forgets, and so he feels like he is doing wrong, so the prophet told him 'sa'atun wa sa'a' there is a time for this and a time for that. Meaning, you have to tackle both ibadat and dunya together.
Man Anonymous Jazakallah khair. Handhallah RA the mighty martyr at Uhud is his name. He was very depressed and said to Abu Bakr RA I feel like a munafiq because of this feeling. SubhanAllah the standards that the Sahaba held themselves to is inspirational. Anyways Abu Bakr RA said to him if you are a munafiq then so am I. Meaning don't put yourself down no one is expected to have perfect iman in all times and places.
Masha'Allah - I loved being a guest on your podcast in January. LOVE your energy. Uncle Rehman :-)
Loved your episode Uncle Rehman 👍🏻
Great career and life advices
Great subject, Masha'Allah - keep it up guys! I'm lucky to live in Saudi Arabia (2 hours flying time from Jeddah) and can pop over the Makkah/Madinah anytime. My employers even lay on free Umrah flights - so I am truly blessed, Alhumdulillah.
Looks like we all need whatever profession you have.
Such a nice insight into Sams experience of Umrah. May Allah accept his umrah ameen! Love these podcasts
Cannot wait to hear from Nate and his umrah trip ia
I really needed to hear this, especially the reminders about death Sam mentioned, thank you so much brothers may Allah bless you👍🏽
Fresh new set 🔥🔥🔥🔥, may Allah give you succes.
I like the podcast in this setting! On this table, face to face - rather than on the chairs side to side.
Alhamdullilah so happy for Nate and Sam to go for Ummrah. May Allah invite you again soom. When you were talking about the innate love for Madinah us Muslims have, it reminded me of the time when the Muhajiroon left Makkah and alot of them fell physically ill mainly because Madinah has a more moist atmosphere than Makkah so illness travels more easily. Anyways Abu Bakr and and Bilal Radiallahuanhum were amongst the ones who fell most ill to the extent that they thought their time was up and they began complaining about missing their home as you do. So Rasulullah (SAW) made dua to Allah and said May the Muslims learn to love this city and may the illness be taken out of here. SubhanAllah the Sahaba all regained their health back soo after, and their desire to go back to Makkah whilst it never went away they became content with Madinah and learnt to love it. SubhanAllah this dua for the Muslims to love the City of the Prophet (SAW )we can see it today amongst ourselves and I have a deep deep yearning to go very soon Bi'idhnillah. Thought I would just share this little contribution, it came to me as I was watching. Love you brothers for the sake of Allah
what sam said about umrah, it reminded of the last umrah I did, I missed those days it kills me that I need fortunate to do once again.
That was well said Sam!! Mashallah may Allah accepted your duas
Guys, great podcast as usual.
Sam, love the talk about Umra. I also really appreciate your sense of style. It’s nice to see Muslims with good appearance. AP watch is awesome as well. Ma Sha’ Allah
Love the new studio set up maa'sha'Allah.
6:55 An airbus could be really big and really tiny. The big ones like the ones Emirates often use (airbus 380) or the small ones for short to medium length flights like airbus 320.

All this time , I thought he was the guy that they gave the surprise umrah trip for. Then when he said he’d been before, I was like what?

@You Tube yup I know what they are. I'm sure it's harmful to some extent. I'm surprised they are promoting such a thing.
bintu I wouldn’t suggest taking them, especially if you’re a female travelling. You can appreciate someone could take advantage of you, god forbid and you wouldn’t be none the wiser.
