Good coverage ❤👍 ! I would like to convey one point. All news channels are saying from alapakkam to alwarthirunagar double decker metro line. But that goes till virugambakkam i mean further beyond alwarthirunagar and goes till inox theatre and finally corridor 5 take a left turn penetrate via virugambakkam kaliamman market road towrds koyamedu and thirumangalam.

What i do not understand is why double decker is needed ... If two seperate tracks are used more area can be covered by metro ...

2 things that runs in my mind,
1, How the 5 track on a single pillar will look like !
2, in the Vadapalani intersection the pillars height is looking small, will the track goes between the road and the old metro line ?

At the top of vadapalani metro. Phase 2 corridor 4 will pass using steel bridge. And goes to Kodambakkam power house.
And double decker pillars are very dense which can handle 4 trains at a time like alandur metro

NO Bangalore is not Double decker Metro its double decker Flyover and other is metro..This is fulll Metro on two floors.Also metro is going to go inside 12 Storey building and Mylapore will have 100ft deep station which is all first in India...Good Chennai coming back to numero uno in South again slowly aferr 80's
