0:11 externally: "Oh yeah..." internally: "I don't remember that at all"
Was thinking the same lol
Captain_The_Puggy yeahhhh 😂
Steve Coogan is like a 'grandmaster' of comedy, amazing guy
He is, but he has forgotten he is.
He drinks yellow stuff out of tins, the man's an idiot
Surprisingly great interview. Well done Pete Donaldson
Great Interview!
I went see this I loved it so touching and I’m 30 years old I love independent real films brilliant acting
Good interview
Great interview as usual from the absolute radio crew. Can't wait for greed movie
Ace interview :)
I love you ala... Steve! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ your live shows are literally staggering. Hope you smash it this year, back at the death star ay.
The last place I saw this host was on a bike in Japan
Lives in Brighton - well known in these parts and a fine chap !
comes to Lewes quite often.
Frequents the Bexley Wheatsheaf on a fortnightly basis. Sunday's usually. Enjoys the folk music of resident band Will of the Wisp
At 0:12 was Mr Coogan trying to be Geoff Goldblum?... either way, BRAVO. I met him in the 90's at the BBC and he was the warmest lovely chap. I still like to think that I have met Partridge. That was even better than the time I went to Silverstone, shook Jackie Stewarts' hand... My marriage fell apart after that.
the 6 million dollar yeah....you don't get the same yeah when you only have 5 mil in the bank
No I did mean Geoff, @smalla weyhey11 you know... the guy who sells knock-off Tweenies at the Rugby covered market. I bought one once but it turned out to be full of soiled bandages. That said, no amount of Partridgeisms will cover my obvious error, I thank you for your candour.🏆
This is the best comment on the internet.
Thank you @@Karl_with_a_K , I have literally got Kenco coming out of my nostrils!
Superb.
Coolish
The only man united fan I like
Surely what's important is what Steve Coogan said, rather than whether you liked the interviewer
@Dickie Chaznick oh quite, but it's a bit cruel to compare perhaps the finest interviewer we've had the privilege to watch with a decent professional managing to get some good stuff out of a shy guest
Anthony Green radio djs are paid to be annoying, no not you Alan
Its true the right movies are funny. They also did a lot of crap
They werent able to finish their careers at the right time or in the manner they would have wanted. Their financial situation coupled with their desire to continue to perform meant they entered into ill advised movie ventures in the 40s and then later when they should have been happily retired they made Atoll K much to their own regrets.
James Adcock The sound shorts are mostly brilliantly funny and what their reputation is based on because Stan was given the freedom to craft them. (2 or 3 of the full length movies are classics but on the whole, the short form was perfect for them ) When they moved away from Hal Roach studios they had no input and were not allowed to improvise and work it out on set like they used to and were written by writers who didn’t understand the characters they’d created and they were frankly rubbish.
Alpha papper was shite and Steve knows it. He was forced to perform. Let it come natural and let him do what he wants
bloody mumbling from both these guys
