On today's episode of The Freddie and Alyssa Show, we chat about Days of Our Lives Production being shut down for two weeks! Days of Our Lives is scheduled to start production again on October 26th, 2020. Days of Our Lives had paused production for nearly five months and resumed filming on September 1st, 2020. Now, Days of Our Lives is on pause once again to be sure everyone is healthy and safe. We are sending the cast and crew love, support and positivity!

Hello Freddie and Alyssa,
A 2 weeks shout down at Days is heart breaking. I wish and pray for everyone in good health. It would be very interesting to interview someone from the crew prospective. I am with Freddie, on learning the background finances and how it all balances out for a production. Numbers are fascinating please bring the interview of a production budget. Also, Freddie and Alyssa be safe driving in your new area and driving sober.
I haven’t missed a beat in over 50 years 😃 so glad they shoot in advance because I’d be going through DOOL withdrawals.
The backgrounds are way better. Freddie doesn't look like he's sitting in front of a VHS cabinet and I like the flowers and window it's very open and welcoming. Good redesign on the set! Thanks for always keeping improving
I was loving your driving comments cause you are so right. When I grew up in New York we can be crazy drivers but we drive defensive. In Florida. people just drive crazy and brake crazy. Where I live now in the DC area, if you can imagine it's even worse, at a 4 way stop light you're all supposed to stop and act like a 4 way stop sign. First person arrives, you look at all directions and then go. The person to the right of that person should follow and so on. But not here. In the DC area its like everyone just freezes and wants to go at the same time. Insanity. I've never been in so many car accidents in my life until I moved to the DC area cause at a traffic light or stop sign people just don't know what to do here. That needs to change.
I understand. I’ve been an accountant for over 40 years! I still love my job everyday! Best job ever! 😃
Regarding traffic: With being the #1 Tourist Destination in the World, a large contributor to traffic here in central FL is, well, people coming from around the entire WORLD, trying to navigate unfamiliar territory, along with bringing their normal driving habits with them from home. After living here south of Orlando for 31 years, I can't tell you how many times I've come up behind someone, only for them to suddenly swerve (literally) across 4-6 lanes of highway in what can only be described as a "Look, Harold--THERE'S our hotel!!!!" maneuver. You'll also quickly learn to drive as defensively as you can, constantly scanning the cars around you, wondering just which one is going to abruptly whip around and, just like you said, race into the spot you're purposely leaving in front of you, like their lives depended upon them squeezing into that space with only 10 seconds to accomplish it. And--trust me--what you desperately try to practice as that 2 car length safely rule, they view as a gift from God which must instantly be taken advantage of or lost forever. (Now that being said, I've gotta say just HOW happy that you guys have decided to come here, in our own backyard, so to speak!! :D )

I thought the way DOOL handled Kristian Alfonso’s 40 years on the show was shameful! They could at the very least do a 30 second segment at the end of the episode!
yes it was terrible! so basically she just dissappears off canvas! which was total disrespect to her and her character, she deserved so much better!
@@reneasmth7606 Disrespect for the fans too. Especially fans who have invested their emotions in Hope’s character over the last approximately 35 years. There could have been closure for us.

@@neenee7362 You’re exactly right. They think were are stupid too. Why do they never mention Phillips prosthetic leg? Or mention when Claire needed a liver transplant when she was a infant? She received Zack’s liver. She never takes anti-rejection medications. Has never had a problem with her liver in all these years? Zack was Bo and Hope’s son who was killed by Bo’s and Billie’s daughter in an accident. They never mentioned her anymore either. Though Bo and Hope both forgave her. She didn’t come back to Salem for Bo’s funeral/memorial. What about the son Bo and Hope thought was theirs instead of Zack. Is he not curious about the people who raised him the first few months of his life before the switch was discovered? Steve and Kayla’s son Joey was only supposed to be in jail a year in real time then his character was supposed to be back.
I could go on and on. These writers need to know Days history.
They are firing established actors. Their storylines could be expanded. I hated to see JJ go. He was just starting to get adult type scenario’s. They could have really developed his character. Steve and Kayla have a daughter we haven’t seen in many, many years. She never even call or visits? So much could have been done with either Gaby and Stefan. Or Gaby and Jake. Ciara and Ben as well. Do something with Rafes character.
I won’t go into the characters they should get rids of! I hope they start doing better.
Freddie, I can't believe you look normal without the beard and mustache on your face back in 2011 until you started the show on DAYS as Sonny for the last 9 years after you left last month in September and the production was shut down, thanks to Alyssa and you lived in Florida, right now!!
I miss Sonny and Will. Please bring them back.

Yes drivers here are wild. I refuse to give into the road peer pressure and like to drive cautiously and safely. Crazy I know! 😂 I avoid I-4 as much as possible and will gladly pay the tolls on 417 if it’s an option on my route (to Disney or the airport during a weekday). Also the seemingly never ending widening of I-4 doesn’t help. The I-4 Ultimate project began in 2015! It’s supposed to be done next year. 😏

Actually it's kinda funny- you talked about wearing leather in Florida....As a transplant from Maryland, only 4 yrs, it cracks me up.....about December/January, they call it winter! And you will see bundles of firewood in front of walmarts and publix as well as down jackets inside!!! What?! 🤪 Winter?!😃🤣😂

Right....lol. My family is in Maryland and about 5 years ago my niece moved to Florida. I see her bundled up and I'm like how quickly you forget where you came from. When I visit and I'm in shorts and her in a parka it's a little weird. 😄
Funny about the Florida drivers. My daughter moved there a year ago from Connecticut our little tiny state and she is petrified to drive there. She only drives when she has to go to work. Other than that her fiancé drives to stores or whatever they do. She always says that the people drive like maniacs there. Lol 😂
Glad it’s not just me! My son was in Florida for a dance scholarship for 8 months. When I experienced the drivers there I was blown away by the lack of skills and consideration for other drivers. I have lived in Philadelphia and New Jersey so I have plenty experience with crazy drivers. I felt safer driving in NY city 😂😂

I had a CoVid test, during my physical, a month ago. They aren't doing the brain scrape anymore. It was just inside my nostril.

What I don't understand is in the beginning a lot of people were wearing masks in stores because it was required and now even if the store requires that they're not wearing their masks and I'm always wearing my mask if I go in the store and it says You must wear masks

I've been tested 9 times now, and they just go in your nose a small ways. It's not uncomfortable at all !!!!

Unfortunately, the quick-return test results aren't as accurate as results of the longer-wait tests. So "making sure" with the quick tests isn't completely making sure. Also, I saw a photo from a different set that was supposedly taking all the measures, but a couple of people were wearing those clear plastic shields without masks -- but tests show that you have to wear a mask with those, or they're virtually useless. I wish the entire cast and crew the best, and hope no one caught it from that crewmember.
They open back up today . They shut down for one day turns out it’s at the Sonny entertainment station. Not Burbank California station filming.

I can understand your frustration with the disease that we will not name. Not sure anyone has any real answers. Yes, they do insert swabs all the way up your nose and take a brain sample. I have not had the pleasure but both of my sons have. It's not pleasant. Sending my healing thoughts to the crew member on Days. Oh and the driving in Florida, I get it!! You described it to a tee. When DOOL went back in September, they said they weren't going to be doing more than 1 ep per day for the first month or so.

Hi Freddy & Alyssa i used to see people wipe down the shopping carts handles even before covid here's a thought maybe the cast & crew and actors should wear a see through plastic covering over their clothes before during and after taping. Today's episode was kristian's last air date.

I don't know if it's the lighting or not but it looks blotchy. Sorry, I know you're just renting! The rest of your place that we can see is beautiful! It's just that wall that really stands out as wierd!

I definitely think we are a long way from having a test people can buy, and having it reliable. I mean the prime example of trump who gets tested every day, and his test didn't come up positive until about 5 days after he was exposed- no we don't know for certain but that's how it seems. My friend was positive and her sister was exposed. Her sister came back negative at first and positive like 5 days later. And these were the slower tests which are supposedly more accurate, not the quick result tests. That could be the situation with Days, is the crew member was testing negative even though they did have it, and it takes time for the viral load to build before these rapid tests can detect it.

Humm a thought the way things are in the world why can’t they write in their safety needs like a pandemic happens in Salem and this in turn helps protect all involved and sends out good safety measures or and dubbing in the actors with tec advancements with props back grounds in so their are a,lot of ways to save money and keep actors and staff still save they need to start thinking outa the box this is a new world I miss your character Sunny and William I hope you guys come back with improved story lines cause these new writers are seriously steals from past days and drag out story lines were so many of your viewers from Days are switching Channels, because the plots are getting ridiculous and then the characters so beloved are slowly vanishing and what made. days is being trampled on and everything with COVID is all a big rouse there is an agenda and we know it! the public don’t trust the news media and even the hired stars that peddle their lies.... one last thing why wear our masks if they don’t even work it Just good hygienic practices needed plain and simple but be safe 🦋 Greets from Calgary Alberta Canada The Wild rose country 🌸 A 50.5 year fan since day one oxoxo
