The amount of haters in the comments trying to find fault with Heppenstall is honestly hilarious 😂 The man ran an amazing race coming in first and deserves the credit he gets

Kincaid is showing great range this year.

Just an FYI , he wasn’t SHH’ING the crowd, it appears to be like that because the camera doesn’t cut to him until the end of the race , it was a smoking gun gesture .
It was talked about in his post race interview and can been seen on a different camera feed , the dude is very humble.
To be honest I’m not sure why he was even considered in the earlier heat , he has a PB in the low 3:35 and is the Canadian Champ int the 1500m

Run through the finish line already !! Why do these guys ease up at the end? Showing off? It's totally stupid. Why run all that distance just to slow down in the last 10 meters. They don't care about their time?

They only really care about Olympic or championship qualifying times if they are under the time than it doesn't matter but it's also early in the season so some of them might just be dead

They do care about their time. But it's easier to coast into the finish than sprint all the way. At some point, the extent to which they care about their time is less than their motivation to keep racing.

It looked like Heppenstall stepped out on the inside which would DQ him.

He was clearly pushed off the track, it’s not a DQ if he’s trying to not fall off the track

@@carterbayer2894 yeah and you get 3 steps off the track before its a dq

No one goes with the pacer, what is the point of having one? Why the silencing finger, 3:37 is not all that impressive.

He was a late addition and won against a field of some of US best mid D runners. I personally think it is justified

@@ob400mH nah, Jakob can get away with that nonsense. If this is the best of the USA, mid distance is at all time low here.

when will athletes stop doing the "shhhh" thing at the end of races. like "shhh, nobody talks about me, but I'm here". "shhh...to all of my critics?"...whatever, it looks ridiculous . the Hussain Bolt lightening pose is at least funny.

I think, The fact that he wasn’t added to this section till the last second gives him the right to shush the crowd. Big statement of a win.
