You might notice the air fryer's display looks like it's "flickering" in the video. It only looks that way on camera; it looks normal and "flicker free" in person.

I bought a COSORI Air fryer from E.Bay (I’m in the UK) a couple of months ago and love it. Unfortunately the handle started to chip and crack. I contacted COSORI about this and the said that the e.bay seller was not an authorised UK seller and therefore we’re not responsible BUT they are actually going to send me a whole new basket. They had no obligation to do this but oh boy now that’s what I call good customer service.
IDK regarding your situation, but when purchased from an authorized seller; they will continue to replace the basket during the warranty period. And the handle breaking is a common issue with the models using that design. They gone with a different design with their latest model, the dual blaze.
Good luck...read my review. Read all reviews on the 2 million plus recalls. Terrible scam going on.

We now have two of this exact item, the Instant Pot Vortex 6 Qt. Air Fryer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . The friend just had a second one delivered a few days ago so we could take it to our lake house. We have even given a couple as gifts. And we use ours regularly. It is a killer for warming up leftovers. It is killer for warming up fries when you bring them home from the fast food place. It is killer for cooking a lot of things. It does its job fast and it does it well. This is simply one of the best items that you will ever spend money on for preparing food. And, its hard to imagine someone making one that's better than the Instant Pot Vortex.
Thanks for your video... I have had my Cosori for nine months now. I use it two to three times every day so, about 800 uses so far. I have only used it on the steak setting... I just cook everything on that one and it all works great... I may change the length of time but never have used any of the other settings... I air-fry steak, chicken wings and pieces, pork chops, lamb, burger patties, and it all has worked very well. The only thing is even with very careful washing the non-stick coating is wearing off a bit. I still think it is well worth buying one though. I have never tried putting anything frozen in mine.

You can push the clear lever to open up the basket without hassle :)
IMPORTANT: When removing basket, slide the transparent (Clear) slider towards the air fryer!
No need to violently remove the basket!!

I've got that corsori airfryer I've found if you put sausages or chops in a small pan in the airfryer they don't dry out and the airfryer keeps clean I love mine it's used every day xxxx
Good review and ideas for cooking. I bought the smaller Cosori and have been very happy with my choice. I think I would get the larger size next time.

Push the cleat tab on top of the handle foreward until it makes contact with the air fryer and it releases the basket easier

I purchased this air fryer to save time and also save on using too much oil to fry foods. In my opinion this is a mid priced unit that has performed well for me so far. I like the size of the basket. The smell was something that I didn't like. I did the test run with an empty chamber, then did 400f for 3 mins using a oven safe bowl with diluted white vinegar and lemon juice with peels. So far no more bad smell
So how cold was your burger patty after waiting for the fries to cook? That's what I see as the drawback for air fryer cooking.
But wouldn’t the burger be cold after waiting for the fries? And you should use a little oils on the fries also??
Another video mentioned that you can use one of the 4 presets on the top right to activate the shake reminder and change the temperature as you need.

Just sent this 5.8q Pro back (that double basket thing is a horrible design and I knew things would go wrong, it already chipped from having to jam it in with the ridiculous handle to lock it in place) to order the 5q. Other than the design flaws, I really liked it and look forward to my new Cosori coming and not having to deal with washing two baskets LOL
So what was the main problem. I’ve seen many people enjoy the dual basket design. I’m not judging, just asking cause I’m in the market right now. Thanks in advance.
There are some real benefits to having a dual basket design. It allows you to dump your food directly onto a plate instead of having to fish it out of the hot air-fryer. Also if you make bacon and other food, there is no risk of dumping grease onto your fresh food, because the grease drips down into the primary pan

Getting it today for sure, Ive been on the fence but now I see nothing but good stuff about it, why not and for 100 quid (125 euro here in Germany), well, cant really go wrong.
I don't have this machine but watching this I would guess the plastic sliding thumb thing (that you moved to uncover the basket release button, ) it is there to assist in taking the basket out of the machine one handed... looks like sliding it while pulling out the basket will put pressure against the machine body to counter act the pull force.. try it there and let me know please..

Thanks. Can you cook burger and the finger chips together? If one food takes more time, you can pull the basket then add the other food and pick mid temp!

hi, I have a question about this air fryer. I just got it from amazon today. Still hasnt been opened just yet. I decided to see a video regarding the cosori air fryer 5.8 qt xl.. Did you clean the cosori air fryer before cooking your first meal? How did you clean it.
Yes sir, I did. I cleaned it with warm, soapy water and a dish rag. Once you open it, the user manual will have a section of what to do before using it. Follow those steps, and you should be good to go.

Innit funny how many people do not understand pre heating, even on normal ovens. When I met my now wife, she never did it and always either over cooked stuff by leaving it in there much longer trying to get it right or it was never cooked as she took it out to early, pizzas were the worst. I had to show her why pre heating is best etc lol
She still cant cook to save her life but at least she pre heats

How come nobody ever shows how to clean the elements and fan area? They only ever show cleaning the bottom of the air fryer. So how do you go about cleaning it because I’m sure it gets greasy and disgusting. Any suggestions?

I live in France and wanted to order one. Basic price on Amazon (in dollars) is 139.99 then Amazon add shipping and handling 68.03 then add estimated tax to be collected 41.61 In total the price is 249.63 NO LONGER A SENSIBLE PRICE

the plastic cover for the basket separation seems flimsy
Ours died after 2 years... Temp sensor crapped out. Constant E1 code.

Any idea why when l press my temp time button to change settings from c to f it just flashes but doesn't change
Don't know if this will be of any help. Amazon UK website model now states that temp is fixed to Degrees Celsius and Can no longer be changed to Fahrenheit. It's down at the bottom of item description.

Mine quit one year to the day. All so called simple fixes were not the problem. Seems they do have many issues. Everything runs including the fan but produces no heat. Tested heating element and it's working. I suspect the coil relay after some checks and testing. The fact that cosori cant make a simple device because it is, to last a year is pathetic. So we went out and bought a differant brand and it cooks better. So my recommendations is to not buy cosori.
What air fryer do you buy to replace the Cosori ?

No need to preheat, because as soon as you open the door all the preheated air is released into the room , so pretty pointless really as well as wasting money !

Is anyone else have a hard time opening and closing the drawer? Makes a lot of noise opening and closing. And seems to need an excessive amount of force to insert and pull out the tray.
Yes. Mine is the same, as well as a friends. The basket “locks” into the air fryer when you put it in. It’s a safety feature, so that a child can’t easily remove a hot basket.
On the top side of your basket, look in front of the clear plastic guard. There’s a ‘recessed notch’ to the front & left of the clear plastic piece. That’s what’s connecting the basket to the air fryer.

I did a lot of research (TH-cam, reviews et.al) prior to purchasing this model and this is the first time I have viewed your video. All positive and no negative (appreciated). A couple of help suggestions. Please do a walk through (step/step) setting up and connecting the Wi-Fi via iPhone to the Vesync app and maybe prepare a bread and/or desert. Thank You LBJ
I dont like the resistant is uful. I loves my air fryer better, I do it with 1 hand no resistant at all. And it doesn't have that plastic thing in there either.... uful

This air fryer has been recalled Stop useing it.
The overheating fault only occurs in the 130v models for the US market. The 240v ones are fine, so if you're in the UK just carry on cooking.
