- Rewinding back to 1973 and The Exorcist. Learn how to create some messy vomit and facial wounds to look exactly like Regan in the classic movie. We couldn’t get a hold of a blue dress, but if you are going for this look, try to find one. The blue dress in our stills is photoshoped to look blue.

An excellent homage to the late great Make Up Master Dick Smith...who's demon make ups terrified us all back in 1973...An excellent job Elli, Dick would have been impressed!!!...the comment by the narrator describing "The Exorcist" as 'cheesy' was a bit inappropriate, as it is considered a classic in the horror genre, and it was a huge horror hit.
Eddie Lord Yup there were a few takes on the description of the movie. Cheesy is not appropriate. But as mentioned in another comment "cheesy" is probably how it would be described by todays youth, watching this channel. But anyways, thanks for the support Eddie Lord :)
Yes by today's standard s that is true...The overt gore and torture porn i.e. "Hostel" overshadows it...but the classics are a fond memory of what real scares and suspense are all about. You guys are all awesome and doing great work.

i want to do sfx on other people, but i don't know how to ask for a hand. like i'll sure be able to get them to allow me to, just i feel like i need a reason. like i can't actually do it for films or stuff. (I'm not even 16 yet) and i could do them for photo shoots but like then i would have to pay for the shoots and I'm not ready to pay 100 euros for every person i do make up on. hah . idk if filming videos would be the right idea bc I'm just learning sfx. little help? please

can you do a video on how to use silicone mix/ 3rd degree anything like that. i know you mix equal parts but mine never sets. i have some work from 2 months still not set :S and how do you measure it out exactly, maybe thats what i am doing wrong :S
Jess Strudwick To measure, what I do is I use the medicine cups that come with liquid medicine like NyQuil. Usually if you are having a problem with it setting, it is because of latex interference. 3rd degree will not set on anything latex. It goes through stages of consistency, runny at first, and it takes about 10 minutes to set altogether. Other than that, it should set, unless the amounts are definitely not equal parts, but I sometimes do guess work on the measurements and it sets fine. If it's not a latex interference, I would try getting some new product.

Does ANY moisturizer help blend out the edges or just oil? Or does oil do a better job?
TooChinNz Lopez moisturizer might work, but probably because it's oil based hehe. So I usually go for olive oil, baby oil or what ever I got handy.
