My washer broke yesterday so I'm at the laundry mat today. Put on today's new episode of The Wayback and the girl beside me said "Is that Ryan Sickler? I know that laugh anywhere." And now me and my new friend Rachel are watching The Wayback together and then the Honeydew. Sickler uniting people together one giggle at a time. I love it, this, and you Ryan! Keep up the great work. ❤
The host is great, but half of the guests aren’t worth our time. Even though Ari drugged a guy most of us can’t stand, he still drugs people. And here comes the shadow ban.
@@MrBuketman Bert was being a drama queen blowing that out of proportion he was probably happy deep inside because he knew he would get sympathy and have something to talk about so all the attention would be on him.
@@seNor916x4 Sounds like we mostly agree. That’s Bert. He and about a dozen of these trendy unfunny “comedians” owe a giant refund to us “poor people”. You can’t drug a person for a giggle. Not defending Bert.
I would like to agree but I feel like the short nature of them keeps you wanting more and is part of the reason people come back. I think it's a great idea
Ari talking about baseball cards remindsd me I pulled a 1992 donruss elite Frank Thomas at the Dugout in Chatham Mall..$1 pack and the card was worth $250..great MD memories
Ari Shaffir is the epitome of Comedic freedom of speech, and expression! He was the ONLY one making Kobe jokes when he died, and he's one of the major reasons the canceling stopped and comics can say what they want without fear! He stood up before Chapelle. Before anyone else, refusing to be "cancelled". Daring the world to try! He's my comic hero, and I just want to say, thank you for being so brave and fearless!
I grew up in New York and remember going to see the NY Giants play the Harlem Globetrotters in basketball. Ari bringing up watching the Oriels play basketball reminded me of it. I went to more Yankees games than I can remember. Love it. (early 80’s baby)
Very very quickly becoming my favorite podcast to listen to!! I appreciate the 30 minute episodes, I can’t normally sit through a whole podcast. But I could honestly listen to Ryan all day long especially with that laugh.
@@AhYesIndeedItsFunTime Bert don’t release that podcast because it’ll show what a great time he had, he even said it got him to quit being a drunk for awhile, I bet his family was happy.
This is an awesome podcast Ryan. Ari has never been better behaved. Really enjoyed seeing Ari in this light. I’ve actually gained a lot more respect for Ari. His Diaz story was tremendous! Thank you to you both.
Those old commercials were something else, the bandaid one gets me all the time along with the old Chevy ones “we love baseball, hotdogs, apple pie and Chevrolet”
Man my dad passed away from cancer when I was 26....shit hurt....but when I was in the grocery store this older guy walked past me and I smelled my dad I had to stop him...tears in my eyes😂 I had to ask him "excuse me sir this might be weird but what scent are u wearing?" He's like it's brut it's sold here in the store I said thank you soo much...went and bought 2 cans...it's now all I wear. Just to have that scented memory of my dad with me always. I never saw the og one that you showed now I know😂😂😂😂
Ari is that friend ya kinda wanna forget you have. But when he pop's up inconveniently of course and keeps you up later than you know you should be it's still kinda cool.
Good times at several Merriweather concerts! OMG do you remember Jerry Springer doing commercials for Liberty Ford in Randallstown/Baltimore? I love this podcast so much!!!!! Grew up in Baltimore County and now live in Carroll County. I love the Honeydew and I count down every week for the way back!!!!! I could watch this show all day!
I love Merriweather, always a local fave! …I’ve saved every ticket stub toooo! 😂 but first show there was over 20 years ago and just went back to take my daughter to a concert ❤️ ….ya gotta ☁️ in the merrifield! Lol
I am in heaven right now being a born in and never left Marylander! Add Ryan’s laugh, the nostalgia… this is truly epic Ryan!!holy shit that creepy giveaway dude is familiar ack 🙈🙈 oooo rep Carroll county, heard that lol
I'm really liking the new format of reminiscing. Fortunately I'm around the same age as these guys so I think it lands a lot harder for us. Same thing with the @areyougarbage crew and their format… This may be the last time we can connect as a generation in this way because back then we all had the same TV movies and commercials etc. Now that entertainment has gone unscheduled and basically unlimited we don't have that societal connection that crosses all class and ethnicity.
I was at that Taping of the Jon Stewart Show! It was back in 95 when Coolio just came out with Gangsta’s Paradise. Jon Stewart was smoking cigarettes like a chimney during commercial breaks!
My uncle gave me his colecovision in like 1993. I still have it to this day. It worked last time i tried it out. Unfortunately, I don't have a TV that will work with it so it hasn't been turned on since like 1999-2000 I got a few good nintendo classics like donkey Kong and a few sega games for it. And Buck Rogers Adventures on reel to reel cassette.
I remember the dealers having those competitions for cars. My dad got invited to one and we were one of the last families to go. We stood there all day for nothing since we didn’t win.

Best laugh in comedy 😂
Fucker I did ✋
Oh, not wearing headphones. What an a-hole.
Awesome story
The story you will tell your future children.
Say what you want about Ari, but I respect and appreciate that he is unapologetically himself.
His special was titled "JEW."
The old pics of Ari are so good. I can't even imagine him as a sweet little boy lol.
I feel like it's a perfect example of how life makes people cynical to be honest 😂
These episodes need to be longer, at least the standard 1 hour.

“It’s a quick hitter” - Sickler
Hey Ryan. I’ve been watching YMH, Two Bears, and Kill Tony for years and I just wanted to let you know that this new podcast is my new favorite.
This is one of those podcasts that NEEDS to be longer. This is the perfect feel good podcast.
Ari is highly underrated 🔥
He does it to himself lol.
Sickler is still givin’ us gifts over a month after the holidays 🎁
Love both your pods, Ryan!
Crazy how guests will show up on all the podcasts one week. It's like they doing a podcast tour lol
It's annoying.. it's too much
Pre recorded
Dont watch then lmao. Some people enjoy it@@goodluck2522
It’s called a media run🤡
They sort of are. They are all on tour or about to tour.
as a truck driver nothing better than a kid trying to get a air horn then scaring the shit out of the parents driving
All hail Princess! The sweetest girl with the softest ears🫶
I've never been a fan of Ari, but he was so relatable and much more chill on this.
Its cool seeing pictures of Ryan's family...for years heard the stories of his brothers and Dad
This is such a fun premise for a podcast.
Ari talking about baseball cards remindsd me I pulled a 1992 donruss elite Frank Thomas at the Dugout in Chatham Mall..$1 pack and the card was worth $250..great MD memories
Y'all are killing it with this podcast. Great guests and the best host in the business.
I wish this podcast was a hour or two long
I love this podcast I wish it was longer for more laughs as I work my part time job.

before chapelle? he stood up when ari was still studying to be a jew priest...

The best thing about this pod is the intro doesn’t take 1 hour like the honey dew
Best episode yet lol seeing Ryan connect with another Baltimore kid was hilarious

Very very quickly becoming my favorite podcast to listen to!! I appreciate the 30 minute episodes, I can’t normally sit through a whole podcast. But I could honestly listen to Ryan all day long especially with that laugh.
Best pod cast ever.
Hey Ryan, really liking The Wayback so far. Great production value, I love the occasional pictures of the guests childhood, the set looks great too.
Ari is awesome
at drugging his friends
@@AhYesIndeedItsFunTime Bert don’t release that podcast because it’ll show what a great time he had, he even said it got him to quit being a drunk for awhile, I bet his family was happy.

Really enjoyed seeing Ari in this light.
I’ve actually gained a lot more respect for Ari. His Diaz story was tremendous!

The Jhoon Rhee jingle / reaction had me rolling!

Ari trimmed the J beard.
The Big Hurt poster was on my wall! Badass!!
Gonna go around with "nobody bothers me" stuck in my head for the next 14 years.
I saw that same Ozzy/Metalica concert in Austin. Got to hang out with them at a carnival downtown the night before. Great episode!❤
Damn Sickler dragging his mom through the mud again!!! She's watchin!!! Lmao
Ari the man of many faces. You look great , Ari.
My first concert was Lynard Skynard and. Ted Nugget at Starwood amphitheater in Nashville Tennessee

Holy shit, Sickler. Your subscription base has doubled in like a year. I see you out here. Keep it up.
Ari is really likable when he lets his guard down. He’s still funny just being himself and not playing the exaggerated angry guy thing he does
Love that Barkley shirt

YES, Tuscany!!!

I was at that Taping of the Jon Stewart Show! It was back in 95 when Coolio just came out with Gangsta’s Paradise. Jon Stewart was smoking cigarettes like a chimney during commercial breaks!
The Merriweather post Pavillion was one of my favorite concert venues. You could get cheap lawn tickets and still have the time of your life!!!
