I love how you were excited to go under budget on groceries but then went over budget on all of the other food related categories. That just goes to show that every month is different... and so they should be ... Balance!! 👌💖

I watched your February set up and I went and set up a budget spreadsheet to fit us. One is week pay the other is fortnight pay. I have loved watching the graphs change throughout the month. Definitely feel more in control with the spreadsheet.

Ella, the amount of good you do from creating these videos is so underrated! I used to be one of those people who didn’t like to look at the amount in their bank account until my card declined and I had to transfer funds 🙈 but now I’m much more aware and budget thanks to you! So important for us women to be money smart 👏🏼

I cannot tell you how excited I was to watch this after work! So motivating! My partner and I have been able to pay off 4k more debt so far than budgeted this year and that is feeling like a HUGE win 2 months in!

Fab budget video I love how honest you are. At the end of the day we all go over budget in some areas some months that’s life the difference is you’re aware and can take action as needed many people will just go ‘I don’t know where it all went’ so excited for you new car too. It’s definitely a season of life just imagine the difference come September with no extra rent to pay car sorted budget looking more as it will be going forward you’ll be able to really beef up that net worth. You’re both doing amazingly well ❤

Need this video. Very stressful day. I'm 5.5 months pregnant but had a big fall last night so I was in hospital today. Baby girl is great, I'm not but I don't care as long as she's great 💝

thanks so much! i'm so glad they're helpful ☺️ I put gym in the bills section because we have lock in contracts that we have to pay for every month whereas subscriptions aren't 100% necessary and we could cut out if we needed to. It just helps to see our wants vs needs on a bigger scale

Hi lovely! I set the money aside before I put it on my spreadsheet so it almost doesn't exist to me. Hope that makes sense!

$177.52 isn’t bad for private health for two people, mine is $190 a month for just me 😢 I’m definitely keen to hear if you find any better alternatives to reduce the cost!

You saying march doesn’t scream birthdays yet my 2Ic is the 7th, my boss and I are the 8th and my partners birthday is the 9th. I also share my birthdate with 4 other people that in know. Also have a co worker on the 23rd. So in my workplace of 10 people 4 of us aren’t in march. Can’t relate to March not being a birthday month 😂 Happy birthday papa citrus!! 🎉

for us takeaway is ordering a pizza or mexican on a Friday night (something quick) VS eating out is more of an "experience" like a brunch date or night out, if that makes sense?
