Is it for Daylight Saving? If so, from timekeeping mode, press and hold the ADJUST button, then press the MODE button repeatedly until the DST indicator flashes (on the small digital display), then press the START button to turn it on or off. (Also make sure the city setting is correct or in the same time zone and DST settings)
I made all the settings exactly according to the instructions, but the watch does not produce any sounds. I'm not sure what's the problem, try to check with the seller or watch repair service. Sometimes, the buzzer doesn't work due to a contact problem (for example, missing a spring after a battery change, wrong orientation of the backplate, and so on). But for a new watch, I think it's best to contact the seller :)

Try to follow the hand alignment step, and during the alignment, set the dial to point Sunday. After that, when the watch returns to timekeeping mode, it should point to the correct day.

Good day :) The day of the week usually also depends on the year setting, make sure it's the correct year. And for the city, you can use another that is on the same UTC+8 : Singapore (SIN) or Hongkong (HKG) Hope this will solve the problem
When I use the function that let's you move the hands away from the digital display either manually (Light + Mode) or while in the "Adjust" menu, the minute hand, while moving, shakes or vibrates amd makes an unnoticeable sound while it's moving. It doesn't tend to be all that noticeable while it's moving away, which tends to make it move faster. It's most noticeable while reverting into the position where it tells the time, which is when it moves more slowly. So it doesn't feel like it's sweeping smoothly, but kind of shaking/vibrating fast as it moves to or back into position. So, does anyone know if this is a normal thing on G-Shocks, or is it a potential fault with my watch that can cause damage?
I can't give a definitive answer for all G-Shock Anadigi models, but both my GA2100 and GA700 exhibit the same behavior. The minute hand appears slightly wobbly when moving counterclockwise. This may be an intentional design choice by Casio to slow down the backward movement, possibly to prevent gear damage. As a point of comparison, for analog watches with a date window, and especially mechanical/automatic ones, it is advisable not to adjust the hands counterclockwise. Some experts even prohibit this practice.

It shows cities, and the US gets many to select from in this watch, like DEN, CHI, NYX, and so on. If the city is not available, the user can choose another city with the same time zone / UTC offset.
I'm not sure if this is the one you need, but there's a feature on the module of Casio digital watches that is named AC Reset, which is usually done after changing battery.
Sounds like the watch is in the "world time" mode. Press the mode button several times until it enters the timekeeping mode, then start the adjustment steps.

I just figured it out. You have set the date exactly to Sunday and the time exactly to 12 and then hit adjust. It automatically changed to correct time for whatever time zone you're in 👍🏽

Did you set the sub and analog hands to the current day and time?
If so, then that's why. Follow the steps to align the sub and analog to zero.
I'm still incredibly confused. It's Monday. The thing skips from Sunday to Wednesday. The more I try to correct it, the more wrong it becomes.
Try again the hands alignment, and set to "zero" position as in the video for the day subdial and also the hour and minute hands :)

How to change day
The watch calculate the day based on date/month/year. You'll need to do the hands alignment correctly, and then set the complete date too :)

I just figured it out. You have set the date exactly to Sunday and the time exactly to 12 and then hit adjust. It automatically changed to correct time for whatever time zone you're in 👍🏽
